Around the third or fourth call, someone did in fact answer the incoming phone line and answered my questions about the duration of the study. However, no one ever phoned me back about scheduling the study until this past week - - over one (1) month since my initial call to this Center. When someone did call me back, she seemed unsure about scheduling the appointment which she said the earliest date would be in October! When I gave her information she hesitantly requested and asked her to verify it by repeating it back to me, she became unexpectedly offended! This individual abruptly told me that she would have her supervisor call me back. Well, no one called me back and it has now been over a week ago that this person called. My suggestion to ABC Sleep Disorders Center is that they train their staff to understand that it's important to verify information as it's being told to them over the phone. This is what's called " customer service." I do not care to schedule with this sleep study group at any of their locations at this point because it seems as though they don't believe in professionalism or timeliness of doctor referrals.

Dr. Lee is informative, concise, and gets straight to the point. One thing I really appreciate is the setup in the exam rooms. There's a large TV that lets you see exactly what's going on inside your ears during the exam. Fair warning, it can be pretty gross if you have as much going on as I did! I was told this was considered MY PORTION of what was going to be charged. I received an EOB from my insurance company stating that I paid basically $1600 to much than what I should have. When I called the office to request my refund. I was told they had to get new explanation of benefits from the insurance company. I called my insurance company six times and spoke to six different representatives who all gave me the figure of me getting a $1600 plus return. At first the offices financial manager told me they couldn't get a hold of the EOB's and she needed them so she could review them. Again I called the insurance company who called the office again and said they would fax them over to them. When they did fax it over someone kept answering the phone so they're fax machine wasn't working, but then they have a portal where the insurance companies put in all the EOB's. The doctors insurance person told me that yes they have that portal. I asked her to look into it she said she would. After two or three more weeks I call the doctors office again and she said she hadn't gotten the EOB's. I said they are in the portal. I called the insurance company and again they called the doctors office and told him how to get into the portal. Well the office never had the portal set up. Another falsified statement because earlier she said she had the portal. Then the office insurance person said the EOB had to go to their main office in Texas. Even though she kept telling me prior SHE had to review the EOB's. My insurance company suggested I send my EOB's over to the doctors office so via email. I sent copies over there explaining how it was broken down and how I was to receive $1600 plus as a refund. The insurance person calls back saying I'm gonna owe another $3000 for bone graphs. Which is a TOTAL SURPRISE CHARGE. At this point it's been 3 1/2 months after my procedure and I asked why they didn't bill the insurance for it. I was told they knew it wasn't covered. I asked if it wasn't covered then why didn't you tell me I owed it in the beginning when you told me MY PORTION was almost $7000. At that point, and same as that other review, she said well that's an estimate. I informed her no I was told what I already paid was MY PORTION of the total monies owed. . So as of this point, I'm going through a charge inquiry with my insurance company. This oral surgery office is a total farce . I must admit the doctor is very good, at surgery However ultimately it's his office and his billing procedures try to cheat you out of everything they can. I had a follow up appointment so I can finally go get my caps put on. I waited four months. I made the appointment four months ago. I walk in today and they tell me the doctors is on vacation we tried to call you. I said no you didn't try to call me if you did you have the wrong number. This is the same thing they told me last time when I said I never got a call to confirm my appointment but I came in anyway. She said she tried twice. So then she looked up and found out she had the wrong number which is odd since the insurance billing person had my number correct. The office staff is very nice, but I don't know how qualified they are. I wouldn't suggest going to this office for anything they'll take more money then what they initially tell you They just don't tell the truth and I agree 100% with that bait and switch the other yelp review gave.
