There's so many amazing things to try, you'll need to come back again and again. This small coffee shop offers an assortment of coffees, teas, food, and pastries. Nothing I have tried has been bad. Give the biscuits and gravy a try. You won't be disappointed. Not only is it tasty, but it's vegetarian friendly! For a sweet treat, the Strawberry Croissant is a must. It has a light cream inside and is jammed with fresh strawberries. The Maple Blueberry coffee is my favorite. Very fragrant and rich in flavor. There is seating inside for maybe 10 people and maybe 20 outside. The patio has a screen around it which makes it feel more secluded. Parking can be tricky since the McDonalds is next door and often the parking lot if very busy. But it's worth it. read more

Meeting friends for brunch and needed a place with outdoor seating (still COVID cautious). We had tried the Coffee Class on Eastern but the patio is VERY small. Thought we would give the Horizon Ridge location a try. The patio did not disappoint. It is large and walled in (protected from the wind) with an ample number of heaters (protected from the cold!). The menu is the same as the Eastern Avenue location. You order at the counter and they bring the food out when it is ready. I went with the Brioche French Toast ($15). This is more like a dessert - very sweet but very tasty. My wife got the Egg Salad toast ($14). Also good though a little too much mayo. the coffee was excellent ($2.75). read more

Searched for a coffee spot after a very windy and frigid morning. Came upon this quaint spot. Public parking lot, not many parking spots but doable. Entrance is thru their back patio (has heaters). Once you enter it's a little confusing how to navigate to the line but well worth the confusion. Orders the strawberry macha green tea and the salmon toast with extra capers. You can taste the bean while still enjoying the sweet traditional aspects of a latte. Although the sweetness may have been from the banana, it was by no means overwhelming like other stores. The Walnut taste was very subtle, but overall I enjoyed the beverage and would get it again! 2. Almond Croissant The best croissant and would recommend over the strawberry croissant. Although both are great, the strawberry one was not as sweet as I would expect from a strawberry and overall, the taste did not blend well and stated like parts of a great pastry rather than a great pastry unit. The Almonds taste was amazing and the warmth of the croissant with the sweetness of the jam perfectly complemented each other. I would get this any day of the week. Interior: I would love to come here for the following reasons: 1. First date 2. Study session 3. Catch up with friends 4. Ponder about your life over a cup of coffee. Wonderful service. The manager and baristas were very friendly and helpful. I got the chicken salad lettuce cups and loved every bite. It was a bit more on the pepper-y side, but it wasn't overwhelming. Would love to have this with an actual serving of greens. The Chai was delicious! The spice was subtle and wasn't too sweet. It took a lot of willpower in me not to try their pastries, but I'm definitely getting a cookie (at the very least) next time. They looked real good. Swing by on your way to the lake before it's all dried up, or while you wait at Pep Boys for your oil change (even though you could definitely change it yourself if you wanted to). But really, the coffee is amazing, the place is bright and vibrant, the homemade pop-tarts are spectacular, and the outdoor patio will be great this fall. Wife & I go to Coffee Class almost weekly, because their coffee is good, they have vegan pastries that are excellent and it's a very nice setting. Typically it's the other 2 locations, not Horizon drive. Eastern is my favorite of the 3. Had a client meeting at this one, and was disappointed the barista/cashier pulled a fast one on me. Their coffee is already higher priced at $5.50 for a basic Americano but I'm willing to pay the local place a small bit more to keep them in business. This time, $14.63 for 2 Americanos, 1 large and 1 small...ouch! I noticed an extra up-charge on each one for extra shots of espresso that were not requested. I questioned the cashier and he just said, 'oh, those sizes are supposed to have the extra shot in it' and blew it off. Interestingly, the charges for each extra shot were different. I thought a shot is the same size no matter what size drink you ask for it to be put in. I order here too much...I know what the normal price is and I order the same thing every single time, never an extra shot. Not cool Coffee Class. PublicUs and a couple others know how to make a proper Americano...with no sizes (it's a coffee snob thing). read more

I randomly met one of the cooks last night/early this morning while I was finishing my graveyard shift at Jack in the Box... it was around 2 or 3 in the morning and she was the sweetest! Her name is Jillian. :) Anywhooo, she suggested I come by The Coffee Class and I happened to have some extra time today, about an hour before they closed. This shop is so quaint, clean, and modern- BUT still extremely cozy. I'd have to give the girls working there all that credit because even as they were cleaning and taking care of closing procedures, they were all still very welcoming as well as insightful as to what I should try for my first time there... I went with the toffee something or the other (Sorry! Goldfish memory lol), the very savory biscuits and gravy, and end totally ended up caving and got a brownie and churro snickerdoodle as well! I called to ask if they had a pick up area. The parking here was really tight and jampacked in the morning. I had my dog with me so I didn't want to leave her in the car. The lady on the phone said "Yes. They're 3 spots open and they have signs there that say pick up" I'm confused because I don't see any spots open. Is there more parking on the other side of the building? I pull out and go back around and end up back in this packed parking lot. I Google and noticed there are TWO locations for this coffee shop. The woman on the phone didn't ask which location and I was calling the Eastern Location.... That was a pretty rough start to the morning. I called the Henderson location and asked of they had pickup. They said no and I was allowed to bring my dog in to order. Only 3 people ahead of me so the line went fast. I got the pumpkin pop tarts and an Americano Coffee. The staff was really kind and really accommodating. The poptart is awesome and usually a bit more sugar than I like but it's really tasty. I had been seeing a lot of Facebook posts about the Grand opening of The Coffee Class on Horizon Ridge for a while so I went there. I was impressed with it, but that day it was too crowded to buy anything. I stopped by again the other day. The strawberry croissant blew my mind, it was amazing! I also like the fact that you can download the app and order online. That saved me getting there and discovering that the items I wanted were out of stock for the day. I haven't tried the coffees yet, but I plan to. The pastries keep me coming back, so far not a clunker in the bunch! I absolutely love this place. I have wonderful service from anyone I've met at this coffee shop. The coffee & food doesn't disappoint. I've been coming here almost weekly to study & I bring my baby boy with me. The outside patio is perfect. It has enough space for me to comfortably bring the stroller. My go to order has been the glazing bacon breakfast sandwich & it is delicious. I've been trying different lattes every time & have never been disappointed. Their pastries are delicious!
