We saw a movie in Brenham and noticed the fun park right behind it. Our son, daughter-in-law and her mother, enjoyed a round of miniature golf. We'd definitely come back and try a few other things they offer, go karts, bumper cars in the water?, a climbing mountain....

While looking through one of those tourist brochures while waiting for our tour at the Blue Bell Creamery, we came across a place with putt putt. I love myself some miniature golf or as I like to call it...putt putt. It's located behind the movie theater so you don't really notice it at first, but then you get a glimpse of the go kart track and you know you're there. The place has an arcade on the inside, which is quite small but if you were about 5 or 6 years old, it can definitely seem like a huge arcade. They have your typical arcade games including miniature bowling, which would be great for little ones, but not so much as an adult. They also have bumper boats but the pool area is a bit small, which of course would be perfect for the little ones. The putt putt was 5 bucks per person, which I guess wasn't too bad, but I haven't played putt putt since I moved to Texas about 4 years ago or so. I don't know what the usual going price is for putt putt. It was in the middle of the day and the sun was blazing, and really no one is outside, which was totally understandable. It worked in our favor because that meant we had the course all to ourselves. We could take our time, redo the holes we messed up on, and try to get the hole in ones. The course is OK, there's nothing really fancy to it. There are a few holes that have more complicated tasks but the general course is designed for younger kids so it's a bit on the easier side. I always enjoy the holes where you hit it inside a house or structure and hope that it comes out the correct hole for an instant hole in one. Even though it was simple and the weather was a nice 98 degrees or so, I had fun. I just wished the course was more complicated.

Planned a day trip to check it out. Not a bad place. The seat belts in some of the golf carts needs to be replaced. The kids had fun which was the most important thing. The bathrooms were gross, water leaking from 3 of the commodes in the ladies room. They put towels on the floor to soak up the water. They need to fix the bathrooms not cover the issues up. No one wants to go in and stand in water to have to use them.

Nice little place for family fun. Wish their water boats were working. Pizza and hot dogs were decent. Good customer service.

That said, the food was pretty expensive for what you get, which was a downside. I also didn't love that after already paying for admission, you still have to pay extra for VIP access to enjoy more rides and activities. It adds up quickly. Overall, it was still a fun and memorable outing, and my kids had a great time, but the pricing structure keeps it from being a full 5-star experience.

We spent about $300 on a family day trip: - 3 adult admissions to the park (Children 2 and under our free) - Add Ons (VIP Hay Ride tickets + Pony Ride) - Parking - A few snacks & refreshments ...But, it was totally worth it to see our toddler in absolute awe of the Christmas decorations and activities. It's VERY well adorned - like an old fashioned Christmas village. The park layout is easy to navigate, and the map you get at the door is helpful too. Free activities include a tiny train ride, snow zone, live music, walking light trail, and lots of photo ops. Additional costs for things like Santa photos, pony rides, and the hay ride. TIPS: Look out for early pre-sales (like big discount offers in the summer), and I recommend reserving parking in advance (purchase online)... Arrive earlier in the afternoon to beat the traffic. It's busy every day of the season!

However, we were gifted a Groupon so that's how we knew about OUAC. When we went it was a cloudy and rainy day so it wasn't crowded at all, which was nice. The place was unique because it had many different stations and activities for your kids to play. It's like a huge Montessori playground. My boys loved the train ride and riding on the dinosaurs the most. I like that the place includes both indoor and outdoor stations. The place seems rather small compared to an amusement park like Six Flags, but it's just enough. Kids can easily spend 30 minutes - 1 hour in just one location so I really like how they can enjoy their time and casually play without parents feeling overwhelmed to get everything done to maximize the amount of money spent. We didn't host a birthday party here, but there were other parties booked. I don't know how much it costs, but let me say that the decorations were beautiful! I'm not sure if it was included or if the parents decorated themselves, but if you wanted to go all out for your child, you certainly can. The staff were also ALL super sweet and friendly! The place plans for everything, like rain. They had numerous umbrellas for patrons to use within the grounds. When it started to rain, all the staff were asking if we needed umbrellas, and one even was willing to run in the rain to get us one! Seriously, I've never seen such hospitality in an establishment from everyone! I also would recommend going here on a weekend because according to their website, more stations and activities are open during that time. Even if it's more crowded, I think it is worth it. If you want to do something different for your child, then I would recommend this place!

I really loved that even adults can join in--sliding, jumping, and just having a good time right along with the kids. Because it was a Tuesday night, it wasn't crowded at all, which made the experience even better. There was plenty of space for the kids to run around and enjoy themselves without feeling overwhelmed. The party itself was great. There were lots of kids, pizza provided by the venue, and a variety of treats like cake pops and other sweets that were made by the birthday girl's mom--everything was nicely done and enjoyable. The pizza was actually good, which is always a plus at kids' parties. The staff was pretty decent--nice and friendly--and the restrooms were clean. My only small complaint is that the restrooms didn't have paper towels, only hand dryers, which I personally don't love. Other than that, everything was good.
