Hot Box BBQ catered my wedding. The food was amazing, they were professional and I couldn't have been happier. 10/10 recommend!

My favorites are the Rooster Tails (fried onions) and the chips and queso, but the real stars of the menu are the burgers. They're always fresh, hot, and juicy. The free peanuts are a nice touch, and they offer daily specials as well. I really miss the Bloody Mary bar, which was always a lot of fun, but their Sunday special makes up for it with a generous double for just $7. There's always a game on TV, which is a welcome break when you've had enough politics to last a lifetime. The servers and bartenders are consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful. And whatever you do, don't forget to ask about the Yahtzee Roll at the bar. If you know, you know!

There's a full bar on both floors as well. The staff was pretty attentive, but the wait for food took a long time. I was happy the cocktails came pretty quickly and were well-made. The food was all pretty good for the most part not wowed but good! I have no complaints about my plate; it came with a great portion of food and was reasonably priced for BBQ. I ordered pulled pork and a side of corn and tomato salad and coleslaw. The sides were different from what I've had before, but I did enjoy them. Their coleslaw is more vinegar than mayo-forward. The pulled pork was well-seasoned, and the side of BBQ was the perfect match. My margarita tasted as if they made the mix in-house, and I prefer this. Store-bought mixers are usually either too sweet or too sour. However, if it is store-bought, I'm impressed! This was not a sweet margarita. My partner went for the Tennessee Texas Hot Sandwich; I did try it. There was hardly any heat despite it being their spicy chicken sandwich. I'm not sure if they make their chips in house but it seemed so.

It was not food from another restaurant but safe food from home. When we tried to get more information we were told it was a liability issue as the manager walked away from the table. There are no signs posted and we were not told this until we had already ordered and seated eating our food as a family. We went ahead and finished our meal and on the way out stopped to speak to another employee, the location is now under corporate and none of the other employees knew of this new rule. Sadly, we will not be retuning for this reason.

LSA Burger seems to be a pretty happening spot at 6:00 PM. We sat at the bar and ordered our beers and burgers. Our food was ready within 15 minutes of ordering. The service was 9/10, quality and taste of the burger 10/10. The Waylon burger is actually a classic burger. The bread was so soft but not soggy. The meat patty was so juicy and moist that it had the slightest seasoning and it was still sooooooooo good! They didn't ask how we wanted our burgers so they were cooked medium. Surprisingly it was cooked to perfection and that's coming from someone that likes medium rare. The fries 10/10 great portion and were so fresh with just the right amount of salt and pepper. I loved how they were fried to perfection yet not greasy! The parking situation isn't great during peak time, but we got lucky and had only a short walk! When returning to Denton, LSA Burger will be on our favorites list.
