I used to dine here often back in the day for Indian Street food like samosa chaat, bhel puri, papdi chaat etc. Then I bought their cake slices and I was hooked. They have interesting flavors like the rasmalai cake. I wasn't sure if it would taste like rasmalai but it did and it was yummy. They make good cakes. The Indian street food items are decent too. The place is packed, and there are a few very unruly customers who refuse to obey basic queue norms! I came here to try the Pani Puri, but it took me 40 minutes to get one because a lady and her daughter (who arrived later) broke the line and went ahead! Plus, when I told her she was breaking the line, she simply said, "No, I came here first!" And started to argue. I am actually very surprised by the reviews! I walked in after visiting the smoke shop right next bar, not only does the prices take you back to 2009 but so does the overall vibe. Wow the eggless cakes here are amazing. They are SO light and not too sweet which is PERFECT! Too often cakes can be overwhelmingly sweet with the frosting but this bakery's cakes are AMAZING. I ordered the chocolate cake, a slice of the mango cake, and a slice of the pistachio cake. All of them were a hit in my house! You have to go there and try their cakes! Also, the gentleman that was working in the front was very nice and understanding. Definitely going back for cake there in the future! read more

Yum! This bake shop has the best cake I've ever had in my life (and I normally don't even like cake). The cakes are super moist and light. It's definitely a lot more expensive to get a sheet cake from here than from Shoprite, for example, but it's worth it! I recommend the pineapple cake or the mixed fruits cake! They have egg-less options available too if you ask. The chicken tikka panini is AMAZING too - it's not completely guilt free but it's worth the calories! read more

The food here is the perfect temperature, DELICIOUS, large portions, and so affordable - way better than going to the Panera down the street. I have yet to try everything on their menu, but it will happen sooner rather than later. Also, if you need a birthday cake, this is the place to go. Their sheet cakes just melt in your mouth. This place has very little option to try but it is worth giving it a try. They serve less but they make sure all they do is the best. The Chole Bhatura, Paneer Tikka Panini and Paneer Bhurjee with Pav are the best ones at this joint. read more

They did not tell the price when we ordered and charged us the day we went to collect, otherwise would have never bought a simple cake for almost $90. A cake that would have cost just $25 from shop rite came for $87.74 from this shop. Plus the next day water came out of it. Would not recommend. ....... But do try this shop for tea time snacks. One of the friends had urinated outside the store and not washed his hands after he entered the store. I ordered a pizza and just left without finishing it. I love their Chaat items. I've tried Samosa Chaat, Thai wrap, Pannini grilled sandwich. All of them are simply delicious!! Sometimes my husband brings all the mentioned items and we finish our dinner and save the rest for next day's evening snack. That being said, their puff items are pathetic! The place smells a touch strongly of hot oil and spices...could benefit from better ventilation. The real star of the estabilishment are the cakes, which are light and sweet. I had the strawberry slice and took another one home. We also tried the chole bhatoore, tandoori pizza and pani puri. Excellent portions for all of them and B+ taste. The chole bhatoore was a little heavy and oily; the channa masala with it was divine. The tandoori pizza was overwhelmed with tandoori bits (on the dry and hard side). Run of the mill pani puri. Lastly, I also had a madras coffee (self serve) which tasted like a vending machine cappuccino. The staff are pleasant and quick. It was quite busy on a saturday afternoon but the service was efficient. There are 5-6 small tables to eat in. It does take 10-15 min for items like the chole bhature and pizza to be made, which is very reasonable. Final verdict: come for the cake! read more

Went to Hot Breads recently, did not know they had non veg items. I ordered the chicken Thai wrap. The wrap was freshly made and received it piping hot. One of my favorite wrap/sandwich. Almost enough for two people. Plus a great value at $5.99. The only gripe is the dining area is small, beverage machine is not visible, location of faculty and item they carry are not visible due the location is way inside of the street.
