Outside facade. The restaurant is on Pine Street Alley. Park and walk.

Quick, friendly and plentiful food. Small dining area inside. The crew was attentive and checked on us during our meal, showing they cared about the quality and service. My wife had the beef & lamb gyro and I had the beef & lamb shawarma plate; both had a lot of good food. loved the shawarma hummus and the pita bread was spot-on! We ate inside and it was cold. Bring a warm coat if you plan to dine there. This is the reason for 4 stars. Observed most patrons ordered takeout.

Stopped through Hot Gyros for lunch earlier today with some friends. It's a pretty cozy restaurant, only a handful of seats. The restaurant was absolutely spotless, and the staff was very kind / welcoming. I had the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich, and it was phenomenal. Fresh produce, perfectly spiced chicken...was a delicious filling meal, will be back very soon! Reasonable prices too!

The food is amazing here. Service is fast and everyone is super friendly. The gyro I had was giant. Outside seating and inside as well. The chicken shawarma plate is excellent and plenty of food for a 6'3" 220lb man!

Yum! Excellent pitas. Crispy, cold Greek salad, and yummy Greek fries. We ordered the beef and lamb pita (delicious huge, tons of meat), and a sandwich meal that came with a pita, Greek salad, and fries that we upgraded to Greek fries. It was a TON of food - we could easily have shared just the sandwich meal and both been full. This is a great takeaway option, but they do have a few small tables if you prefer to dine in. The staff/owners were friendly, funny, and knew lots of regulars by name. We will definitely be back!

A hole in the wall gem! Friendly staff and fast for how busy they were too. The food was on point. We will definitely be back.

Tried this place out for the first time this week, got my order to go and had to drive 25 min home. It traveled so well and was such a good amount of food that I was able to save the rest for lunch the next day! Would highly recommend, next time I want to try their fries. They look amazing!!!

The first time my wife and I came in, we shared the fajitas and they were absolutely incredible. Everything was full of flavor, fresh, and cooked perfectly. Their homemade beans alone are worth talking about -- seriously some of the best I've had. We came back again today and I tried the enchiladas with the creamy poblano sauce... and wow. Hands down the best enchiladas I've ever had. That sauce was rich, flavorful, and something I'll definitely be coming back for. On top of the amazing food, the customer service has been top notch both times. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and really makes the experience even better. And I can't forget the real fruit coconut margarita -- absolutely to die for! Fresh, beautiful, and just as good as it looks. This place is officially one of our favorites. Amazing food, amazing drinks, amazing people. We'll definitely be back!

We were seated quickly in the bar area which was much quieter than the main dining area, the decor was simple but on point and all the tables had little tulip arrangements. Our server was prompt and made excellent recommendations. I got the crispy tacos (YUM) and my husband got the enchiladas with the green sauce, the sauce was to die for! Will definitely keep this place in mind when we are back up in the area.

I stopped in on "Black Friday" on my way to a medical appointment…read more The Porterhouse Pub was open and had a few tables occupied, so there was no problem getting seated. I noticed a bunch of slates with beer names and spotted a cider from Terramar advertising a Strawberry Rhubarb cider and decided I wanted to try that flavor combination. It was sweet with a little tart aftertaste. For my meal I opted for the Porterhouse Cheese Curds as an appetizer and the Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich with fries for my main dish. The cheese curds were nicely battered and fried and the housemade ranch was a nice accompaniment to the cheese curds. The spicy crispy chicken sandwich was only crispy on the outside where the batter was applied! The rest of the chicken was tender and juicy. So tasty . I didn't think the sandwich was all that spicy, but that would be my fault because I eat jalapeno like candy and routinely use habanero hot sauce on my food. Even though I didn't think it was all that spicy I did enjoy the flavor and crunch of the sandwich. There was a bunch of steak fries served with my sandwich. Excellent fries, but way too many for me to eat them all. I think I probably ate only 1/4 of them!! I was very tempted to order a slice of the chocolate cheesecake with housemade fudge for dessert, but I was stuffed by my appetizer and meal.

The service was fast and friendly, and the prices were super affordable. I especially appreciated that they had one of my favorite seltzers, from Stemma Brewing, on tap! We enjoyed a couple of appetizers. The calamari was crispy and delicious, and served with a side of tasty aioli. Although not quite enough aioli, as we ran out about half way through the calamari and had to order more. (Tbh I was kinda surprised when I saw they had charged us for the "extra" aioli.) The hot artichoke dip was good, too, though the portion was pretty small for the price. I'd come back again, but maybe during happy hour as it might be a better value.

Calico Cupboard is one of those places that you NEED to go to when you're in town…read more When you get there, you just sign in yourself at the stand which is a good system so no one has to check you in when they're already pretty busy. While you're waiting you can go to the shop down the stairs or go to the dessert area right next to the waiting area to get some great desserts. Last time i was there I saw frosted cream cheese sugar cookies, and pies, and more. When you get seated there are so many great food options, lots of options, same with drinks. They are only open until 3:30 pm so be sure to manage time well. And don't expect an empty place, it's usually populated. Tight space, so scoot in those chairs as far as you can. Staff were laid back, and nice. When they're busy make sure to be patient with the staff, they're dealing with tons of other orders as well.

We had breakfast there last Wednesday morning, and from the moment we arrived, it felt special. The outside is adorable, but somehow the inside is even more charming. There's such a warm, welcoming energy the second you walk in. Off to the side is their incredible shop, "Re-Feather Your Nest," filled with thousands of unique and beautiful items--it honestly feels like a destination all on its own. To the left when you enter, you're greeted by their bakery cases, and wow--there are more options than most bakeries I've ever seen. Everything looked amazing, and we were lucky enough to be seated right away (always a win!). The restaurant itself is two stories, and our table overlooked the store below, which made the whole experience even more fun. We started with their famous cinnamon roll, fresh coffee (with the cutest little design on top!), and freshly squeezed grapefruit juice--which was incredibly refreshing. For breakfast, I ordered the Calico Benedict on a homemade English muffin with corned beef--so good! And the country-style potatoes? Easily some of the best I've ever had. I couldn't even finish them and happily took the rest home...they were just as delicious the next day. My husband ordered the Breakfast Sampler with sausage and loved every bite as well. What really stood out, beyond the food, was how clean everything was and how genuinely happy the staff seemed. You can tell they enjoy working there, and that makes such a difference. After breakfast, we wandered through the gift shop and found so many unique treasures--big and small. I actually visited Magnolia in Waco, Texas a couple of months ago, and honestly, this is the kind of charming, personality-filled place that would fit right in there (and maybe even outshine it!). If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping by--even if it's just to browse the shop. It's one of those rare places that truly has it all. A must-visit!
