I can't lie - I kinda feel Guisados should leave me a review after a fantastic experience at the…read moreWest Hollywood location. Came in for a quick bite to eat before a show down the street at the Troubadour. Everything was great. Staff was friendly and helpful, the food was made promptly and brought out to us. It was towards the end of our meal that things got interesting as I had asked for hot sauce for my taco sampler The server mentioned some super spicy taco they had. Now I can handle extreme heat (I could do Hot Ones no problem) and more often than not I'm let down by what most places consider spicy. Not this time however I knew it was gonna be good when the staff from the kitchen started to check me out after it was ordered. They were being sly but by the end of the taco I feel as if I had earned their respect, I'd give it a 7 on my heat scale - it was hot and also delicious. A great experience all around - thank you Guisados

No. What Guisados does exceptionally well is satisfy late-night taco cravings, especially after a night out of cocktails and shots. Nestled right between the bars, it's the perfect stumbling distance when the night is winding down and hunger starts making decisions for you. The tacos are flavorful, the stewed meats hit the spot, and somehow everything tastes even better when you're debating whether to go home or order one more drink. My biggest advice: get there before last call. Otherwise, expect a long line. So, is Guisados the greatest taco place on earth? Probably not. Is it exactly what I want when I'm hungry, exhausted, and looking for salvation wrapped in a tortilla? Absolutely.

From the outside it looks like a small burrito, but it is so packed that you'll feel satiated/pretty full. Including tax it was $14. The service was fast and friendly, and I was in and out in under 10 minutes. There is parking too!

There are not a lot of options on the menu, just a handful of sandwiches and burritos, along with a few sides. But even with the smaller menu, I still wanted to try half of it. I finally settled on the Rico Suave, and my spouse got the Bodega with a side of tots. We ordered at the counter and then sat in the dining room, which had a few tables and seating along the windows. It was nothing fancy, but it was clean and comfortable. It didn't take long before our food was ready. I loved the Rico Suave. So often when you order a breakfast burrito, you get one that could feed a family. This one filled me up, but I didn't leave feeling stuffed. I was also impressed that, by the time I finished it, it hadn't fallen apart into a pile of mush. Even better, the flavor was excellent. I loved every bite. My spouse enjoyed the Bodega, and we both loved the tots, which were crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside. I will definitely be going back. I noticed that a lot of people have commented on the price. For what we ordered, it was about $30. You would pay close to that for two McDonald's Egg McMuffin meals and not get nearly as much food or anywhere near the same quality. I thought it was very reasonable. The Rooster is a hit in my book.

Cute little neon rooster was just to adorable not to include here. Inside was bustling with young families and even a 93 year old!
