Not sure how I feel about this place yet. I liked the fish cakes, the Vietnamese egg rolls not so much. I did like how they made their rice, nice and fluffy. Cup of soup was also nice. Overall they're a bit on the pricier side though but then again, so is everywhere else! The real test for me will be their bowl of pho and pork chop rice plate that I will try to get next time. This place was packed on a Saturday. We arrived and there was only one table the were cleaning for us. It's in a plaza. Which parking can be hard especially on a weekend. Ordered chicken pho and the broth wasn't tasty at all. I ordered the hu tieu and it came with pho noodles? I was expecting the regular chewy hu tieu noodles. Again broth wasn't good. I had to add a lot of hoisin and Sriracha. I'm thinking it was an off day unless Dublin residents really like broth tasting is way? My cousin ordered vermicelli noodles and said her pork was a little salty and her side broth wasn't flavorful either. I wouldn't come back only bc I don't typically eat Vietnamese when I am in the area, since there's so so many other options. We only went here bc literally our first two spots we picked were closed. Staff are really nice though! Oh and I thought it was weird that my side veggie plate came with cilantro, jalapeño, bean sprouts and lemon but No basil!! For pho! I recently came here with my family. My kids like pho so we frequent pho places. And let me tell you, this is the best pho place I have been to in Northern California. We don't live around here, but this is the plaza we usually stop around on our way from from visiting family. I usually get a rice dish and the pork chop rice with egg is the best I have had. The pork marinade was on point and every bit was delicious. It had a little bit of sweetness and salty and a nice char flavor. My kids ate up their pho and everybody was a happy camper. I am also a big fan of fish cake. Order the Fried Fish cake, it is delicious. My hubs and I were pleasantly surprise at how we enjoyed it. Service was friendly and nice. I look forward to my next visit and am already thinking about how satisfying the first bite of Fried Fish Cake will be. read more

I recently ordered some pho broth and noodles only for a Halloween party we were throwing. Figured I could keep the broth in a crock pot and have it piping hot after going out stealing candy. Ordered up five of them. Great value too! Picked it up and was happy to see it nicely packed away in a box and individually wrapped in those pho containers. It was at this moment I realized I had not tipped out the store. I almost never tip for takeout, but this was kind of a bigger order, so I'm sorry Hot Pho. Hopefully this review is more valuable to you guys than a tip. Got home and threw the soup in a crock. When it was time to eat, all my guests were under the impression that I had toiled over the kitchen for hours. I let it ride for a bit, but ultimately came clean and told them it was from Hot Pho, a new joint at Fallon. They were very impressed (and so was I). The broth was oozing with deep flavors. Could even smell the star anise. Went so well with the rice noodle and some dumplings that a guest brought over. Yum yum. All in all, great hit with the pho. I think you made some new customers. I was greeted but after that I never encountered anyone. Perhaps they were short staffed. But, the food was severed quickly. Nice favorable broth but the Vermicelli was mush. I have gone to 20+ Viet restaurants, and their wheat noodles were the worst. Perhaps the rice noodles would be better but I am not likely to return to try them. Down the road I may go back. Tried this place today. We really like the broth and the noodles. We were able to swap out rice noodle for egg noodle for one of our item. Kid sized beef pho Kid sized shrimp pho Small beef ball pho with egg noodle Spring rolls Everything tastes great. They also have so many sauces available on the table. Hoisin sauce , 3 types of chili, soy sauce, vinegar. Tables and restaurants are clean. Menu is well maintained. The only star I took away is for the price of the spring rolls and kid bowls. Spring rolls contained 3 pieces (cut in halves so total 6) but they seem tiny for almost $11. And the kid bowls are definitely kid sized for $8. I'd say if your kid is a decent eater you'd go for the small size instead of kid size. read more

This is our second time to come eat and this time we ordered vermicelli instead of the soup. We had one chicken with shrimp and one beef with shrimp. Both are very good. Living in Dublin for a couple of years, I've looked for good pho noodle restaurants. Hot Pho opened at the Fallon shopping center 5 months ago and it's good compared to other places in the area. The soup base is very good. They have sriracha and not the knock off brand hot sauces. The large bowl order is actually pretty large. I got the rare steak, brisket and flank and the meats were of good fatty quality. I will definitely be back! read more

The newest restaurant in Fallon Gateway and we were hungry for pho. Place was pretty crowded so we gave it a try. It's a limited menu with just basic stuff on it. Price was a bit on the expensive side for noodles. We ordered and everything came out within a few minutes. The food and flavors were average. I guess I was expecting more for the price and that it was a new restaurant. Serving sizes are smaller compared to other pho places nearby. Overall, this place is just ok. Tried this place due to 4.5 star from Yelp. But it was a total disappointment. First they got my wife order (chicken/springroll) wrong (forgot her spring roll instead gave her shrimp). They took It back but still got it wrong (gave her beef with sprinroll this time). The third try was right but the chicken was quite salty without the typical sweet taste that Vietnamness dishes supposed to have. And then my noddle soup does not have the beef broth favor. I don't live within the area but the entire week of my stay here this restaurant has the highest rating of all the pho shops I've had in this entire week. Inside of the restaurant, very clean. Sat down quickly. I had order #2 pho size large with the steak on the side. Waiter came back with my steak inside my bowl. I didn't want to make a big deal so I went with it. In the meantime my the guy next to me did the same order with steak on the side and he got HIS steak on the side. The broth was flavorless in my opinion. I've added salt, fish sauce, and soy sauce but didn't make the broth that much better. The meat portion was very little in my opinion. The price for this place is cheaper than most Pho restaurants so I'll give them that. Would I come back again? Since I'm in the area temporarily, I wouldn't come back here again. Middle of the road pho. Good for a pinch but not going to be my go to place. ($10.50) Egg rolls get small and not very flavorful. Dipping sauce and pickled veggies all seem like they lacked sugar to balance the salt. ($14.50) Pho broth was similar in that it was salty but no sweetness layered in. I didn't mind that as much but normally when pho cools the broth gets sweeter so just reaffirmed for me that sugar was missing. I usually use hoisin sauce and chili sauce. The hoisin was super thick and just weird. I did see others order their plates instead of pho and those all looked very appetizing. I didn't order any drink... all the milk tea type drinks were $6 and a can of soda was $2.50 read more

I'm never usually around this area but I was craving Pho. I discovered Hot Pho here on yelp and let me tell you that this place has the best spring rolls and Pho. I was greeted with a smile and was seated immediately. The host asked if my table was fine or if I wanted a bigger table and she said I was welcome to sit there. I can't stand when my vermicelli (bun) bowl is wet and squishy. They bring you some hot chicken broth with the bun which is a nice touch. The beef Pho was ok. The broth is good, but the quality of the beef wasn't what we are normally get. Not horrible, but there are better options. read more

This is a highly recommended local restaurant we should support and treasure! I went there this afternoon for a quick lunch and ordered a small Combo Pho and a piece of Fried Shrimp Cake. For the Combo Pho, the meat quality is great and sufficient and the pho amount is just right! Most importantly is that the soup is hot and you won't get thirsty after having their soup. At $12.50 price, that's a great price in Tri-Valley since pandemic. Also, I'd ordered a piece of Fried Shrimp Cake as the side of my pho.
