Some reviews were very negative, we looked inside and it looks very nice, so we're about to give it a try....stay tuned for review.

First of all: don't trust the negative reviews, they seem to be there to try and sabotage this new business. I'm glad I ignored them and took a chance to see things for myself. And what a great find and experience it was! Magnificent ingredients, fresh side dishes, condiments, and sauces. I was sold once the shrimp for the soup came out, large, plump, fresh and top-notch quality. The overall experience was very satisfying, the kids had fun and we loved the flavors. Truly an all-you-can-eat affair where all you have to do is ask, and more fresh meats and veggies come right out to your table. The service was excellent, they took a bit of time to bring the orders out, but nothing to worry about or hurt the experice, we asked for something like 20 different ingredients, so it makes sense that to keep things fresh and clean, it would take a little time to prep the cart and bring it to the table. Overall, great value and flavors! We're super lucky and excited to welcome this new place to the neighborhood as we will surely be coming back quite often. It is one of the best new places and overall best restaurants in the area.

Current pricing as of 07/02 Current pricing as of 07/02 &29.99 for BBQ. NOT ENOUGH SIDES AND THAT SIDE BAR WAS RIDICULOUS. that being said. The food was plentiful and but the rules were plentiful as well. 1) I get the charge for over ordering it prevents people from wasting food. 2) I don't understand how rice which is a staple in every Asian cuisine is not included. Plus it's cheap. 3) that side bar needs to be better. There are mostly seasoning. At least have a salad/desert options.

I couldn't walk afterward because I really stuffed myself! My friend literally had to drag me back to the car. To be honest, I should have stopped after halfway through the second round, but finished everything. Then, we finished everything in the third round too. We didn't eat anything throughout the day, ran 4 miles, and did calisthenics for 30minutes, just for this place, and it didn't disappoint. Everyone has their own preferences, so I won't recommend anything to order. One thing I would like to highlight is the individual ladles. They perfectly fit on top of the edge of the pot. It was very convenient. They also have recommended sauce recipes at the sauce bar to eat with your hotpot. I also thought it was interesting that they were playing Ratatoullie and G-Force on the screen. Overall, 8.2 out of 10.

Came here for my friends bday dinner! It was awesome! Great service! Spacious seating. Food was great! My only complaint is that you can't take your leftovers with you and we had plenty!

Hot pot with spicy broth and regular broth. We added sausages, broccoli, and peppers this go around.

This place is in a strip mall, but dang the food is pretty good. They have both hot pot and Korean bbq options to choose from on the menu. You can share broth with your table to choose to have a personal one. Lots of options to cook in the hot pot and they have a sauce bar (which we were not alerted to our first time there). The atmosphere was pretty quiet, although they do have a set up for karaoke! Giving 4 stars as the service was subpar, we had to flag down staff and no one told us how to order (the menu isn't so straightforward).

Came here for lunch with the family. We just got down showing out of town family around and everyone was ready to eat! The kids love hot pot so of course we had to bring them here. This isn't my first time here and well this is really the only place you can get hotpot all you can eat in the Charleston area and it's not bad. The 4 stars is for overall, food plus experience! There's some things the restaurant can improve on. For example the BBQ: Better meat selection, better and more variety of sides that usually come with Korean BBQ, and have more dipping sauce options as well. For the hotpot: Try and have all the veggies you offer on your menu. The times I've been there, the veggies I usually like aren't available. Also the broth could be a bit more flavorful. The chili offered at the kiosk could be Spicer as well. Overall we enjoy our visits here and I do recommend this establishment. For the price, it's not bad aside from my recommendations above. Place is big with a huge screen for karaoke that's open to anyone who wants to sing and entertain the patrons! So fun. Give this place a try if you like Korean hotpot and BBQ!

4.5 but rounded up to 5 stars!! So glad to have a place like this in Charleston. You have three options here: Korean bbq, hot pot, or both. We did just the hot pot. It's all you can eat for a flat price per person. Kids are cheaper. Lot of variety ranging from different meats to veggies and even dumplings to cook in the spicy broth. (Although I feel that the broth option could have been spicier there was several broth options to choose from). Very friendly staff and they also have a sauce bar with recipe guide and suggestions. Very spacious location inside the restaurant and a great dining experience!!

Will i come back------NO WAY once is enough First of all the place and silverware is clean. The salad bar is a joke.. iceberg lettuce and boiled shrimp and that's it. We ordered the BBQ for $29.99 each . For that price you would think the quality of the meats would be better . The Brisket and short ribs were all fat. The squid was either under or over cooked by me . Hard to tell when done . And after a while of trying different sauces the heat holes on the burner clog up and even with cooking spray things tend to stick. I put chicken slices and had to scrap them off in little pieces. Maybe the Hot pot ,coking seafood and noodles in soup would have been better. But the BBQ was terrible and i will not be back. Even for the novelty of it all , I can think of a better way to spend $70 for a meal and have it cooked just right.

Hot Pot is an interesting place. You have a choice of Korean bbq, Hot Pot, or both. The tables have a grilling plate on the middle. Each seat has their own hot plate for the Hot Pot. For the Hot Pot, you are brought your own individual pot and you can choose your broth from a choice of 6. You choose as many items as you want, and all are brought out for you to cook in your own pot. For the bbq, the raw ingredients are brought out for you to cook on the grill plate. For both cooking methods, you can order as much as you want and as many times as you'd like, however if you order far too much food, then you will be charged for wastage. Overall, the premise is great. Having been to many Korean bbq's in different cities, this place doesn't really compare. The meat was okay- not great. The broth was flavorless. I guess a spicy broth may have been a better choice, however a chicken broth should not be as bland as it was. The service seemed to be the major issue. We were not given any assistance as to what we should be doing. Our grill plate was never put on, so our cooking was delayed. No one told us there was a buffet area where we could get our condiments. We were seated where this was not visible to us. Once we figured this out, our food was suddenly a lot better. The garlic, scallions and sauces improved our food exponentially! A fun part was the karaoke. Anyone could take the mic and sing. It was great. And no you don't have to be a good singer- that's the best part! So the entertainment was pretty awesome. I'd give this a 3.5 stars. Maybe have instructions of "how to" at each table, explaining everything from what Hot Pot and Korean bbq are, how the Hot Pot can be controlled by you, and what condiments to eat with each item. The place is decent and I would return, now that I know what I'm doing!

I'm not sure their meats are freshly marinated? We've all had some upset tummies the last couple of times we've gone. The portions are large though. They have an excellent selection for hot pot items but not quite for the BBQ items. I don't care for their cuts for their BBQ as much as their hot pot. Fun for once or twice but I wouldn't say this is best..

i have been twice now and both times only had the Chinese Hot Pot AYCE. In the future we will try out the Korean BBQ. Having only been open for less than two weeks they are still adjusting some but we have enjoyed both visits. Overall great location with plenty of parking and the restaurant is spacious, lots of room with tables on the sides. You can do individual pots or a large pot (with one - three sections of broth. Large sauce bar with labels on the glass above. If you havent had hot pot before then you should know that you take a small bowl for your suace and combine some of the options at the sauce bar into what you would like. It takes some trial and error. Might also be good to look up some sauce combos for hot pot. They had peanut butter but would love to see some sesame paste on the bar as well Meats and vegetables: large selection with popular options of fatty beef and lamb. I have had the beef stomach and tripe but found the cuts to be too thick, hoping this gets fixed as it is great when thinly sliced. Broth options. The Sichuan spicy broth is fairly mild. The Chinese herb is a good option for those that want to stay away from any spice. I havent tried the other broths. Everything else has been great. Both times we ate til we had to roll out Service was wonderful and friendly. If you need something dont be afraid to get a server's attention. When they start to get busy, as with many places they only have so many people so service can slow down some. AYCE Hot Pot is finally available in Charleston. We dont have to make it at home when we want it and we dont have to clean up either Hope everyone that goes enjoys it. Lunar New Year also starts on Feb 1st, Year of the Water Tiger. Be safe out there and take care of each other :)

Hotpot and kbbq for $35. I love it! My husband and I enjoyed the experience as well as the food. I love being able to take control of cooking my own food. The kalbi and spicy beef are my favorite. It is so good! I got szechuan broth which is tad bit too spicy for me but the server is nice enough to help me tone it down by removing more of the chili oil on top. With so many choices, it is very cost effective. I just wish they have more dessert to choose from.

So, I have never tried Korean BBQ or Hot pot and really didn't know what to expect. My wife deployed to Korea once and has been wanting me to try it. Service was friendly and accommodating but not exactly fast. Once you get your stuff, they leave you alone, which is nice unless you need a refill. Food was good. Again, I didn't know what to expect and realized that it was up to me to season the meats. Which is fine, but I would have maybe suggested certain sauces for us new comers. Lots of choices of meats , vegetables, and noodles. Restaurant was clean and decorated Nicely except for the karaoke bar right across from our table. Just seemed out of place. 35.00 for all you can in two hours for bbq and hot pot. Price was fair for all the choices I would go again

My favorite restaurant in Charleston…read more I get the bbq but can't wait to try the hot pot. The price is fantastic considering I focus on proteins and don't fill up on rice. The bulgogi is fantastic, the sauce selection is huge, and the soft drinks are also unlimited. I try to go at least once a month. I specifically came at 3:10 pm and the server notified me ahead of time that if I wanted that price I would only have until 4 pm which was about 50 minutes to eat. Totally do-able especially since I was a party of 1. Just a heads up their options for lunch is different from dinner hence the difference in price points of the two. Everything was buffet style so you would go to the bar to grab your meats, drinks, and sauces. If you wanted rice, kimchi, or other sides please let your server know. Service was great and attentive. My server often came by and offered to cut the pork belly which by the way were my favorite here. The restaurant gave me a sense of modern/hipster vibes which can be appealing for young crowds and it seems pretty clean overall. Definitely will be back to try their dinner options one day but it's a good spot for a cheap ayce during lunch time!

On one side it is an "all you can eat" menu. On the other side, you order à la carte off of a regular menu. On the all-you-can-eat side, it appears you'll probably need a reservation, as it is quite popular. We did not have a reservation but didn't want all you can eat anyway, so we sat on the side with the regular menu. The menu is quite large, with a good variety of sushi and other dishes. We got there during happy hour, and they had some great deals on appetizers, certain types of sushi, and drinks. Every employee that we encountered was friendly and helpful. The presentation of the food was lovely, as you can see from the photos below, but overall, the food was just so-so. The sushi was good, but definitely not the best I've ever had. It wasn't terrible, just nothing to write home about. We ordered fried calamari as an appetizer and that was not great, compared to other restaurants. It was fairly thick and heavily battered (as far as calamari goes), and tasted as if the oil hadn't been changed in a while. We also ordered regular egg rolls, which were OK. As far as ambience, for some reason many restaurants play loud music that isn't suitable for dining (have they always done this and I just never noticed?), and this is one of them. Overall, I do feel that we received good food for the price, and again, all of the employees were stellar. We will probably try this location again.

We ordered the Golden Hour fries with yum yum sauce (amazing), the crab rangoons, pulled pork noodles and red beans and rice with chicken. The crab rangoons are not what you think of for traditional rangoos. They're actually hush puppies with a crab dip. The hush puppies are incredible and we just spooned the dip on top. Different but delightful. The pulled pork noodle bowl was a bit of a let down. It truly was just a heap of noodles and some pork. The pork was really really good, but I was surprised the noodles had no flavor and overwhelmed the bowl. The red beans and chicken had much more flavor, it was bone in chicken however the flavor was really nice. The drink menu is thoughtfully curated and crafted with some really unique options. We tried a highball and a frozen drink and both were really tasty. Next time I think I will order a BBQ plate so I can have more of the actual meat because it was really good, but I'm glad I tried something a little different.
