Snow crab legs. 3 lbs with potatoes and corn. Added sausage and garlic butter.

Good service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean dining room.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Sat in the bar area at a table so we could see the college football games on their TVs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Crab legs were kind of small, but they were seasoned well. They give a lot of potatoes and 1 corn on the cob. I added sausage and garlic butter. I was very satisfied.

First time at Coosaw Crab Shack. Great service provided by Kristyn! I ordered the Double D BBQ Shrimp and Crab Shrimp. It was excellent!

My sister and I went there on Sunday night. It was our first time patronizing the restaurant. It was raining and close to closing. However the staff was friendly and accommodating. Our server, Tina, was very courteous, warm and efficient. I ordered the Double D BBQ shrimp and crab cake sandwich. The meal came with fries and I added a side of collard greens. My sister ordered the fried flounder sandwich with fries and a side of collard greens. I am from New Orleans so all seafood dishes are measured against the New Orleanian standard. Not throwing shade just giving a little background before the breakdown. My sandwich was huge. The build was an open faced ciabatta toasted bun, crab cake, onion ring strings, fried shrimp with BBQ sauce on top. The crab cake adequate. The shrimp was not well seasoned but with the BBQ sauce and the onion rings, it all worked. It was good. It was not an "OMG, this is amazing". The fries were served hot and well seasoned. The collard greens were sweet. It was good, my only dislike was that the stems were not removed. It's a personal preference. My sister enjoyed the flounder. It was fried, flaky and seasoned well! Now this is for the ladies. If you visit this restaurant YOU MUST go to the restroom. YOU MUST enter the middle stall and read what's on the wall! It is hilarious!! Overall good visit.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great place for a large group!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We had a group of 40 and they were amazing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff were amazing. Super friendly and very accommodating. The food came out hot and tasted yummy!! I highly recommend this restaurant to try whether family or large group. I was just impressed with how they handled or large group effortlessly. Definitely will go back!!

Came here for my Aunts 80th birthday. We had a room reserved for September 28th, but because of the Hurricane it was rescheduled to Oct 5th. ThThey allowed the change with no hassle. We had great wait staff and the food was excellently made and everyone in our party was happy with their orders.

A nasty tasteless glass of pink lemonade

Bad food small portions dirty dishes tasteless seafood must use sauce to give it a flavor

Amazing wishes from staff

I would change the name because the name suggests they have oysters only and it turns out there is more, not a whole lot but enough for a non oysterholic to come in and have something to eat while you chug an ale or one of the shots with a slimy thing in it I got to try a shot of something that tasted like bloody Mary's mix with an oyster inside, I felt the slimy thing going down the hatch and later ordered a dozen or so oysters Parmesan, cooked taste a little like scallops, not bad and I could go back and try something else The calamari was ok, not as great as I can make them if I had a fryer with a thermostat, the batter was a little too thick and I tend to like them with a see through batter not a filler, it was crunchy ok but maybe a little overcooked and not a lot of people know that calamari should be flash fried for about a minute and if you go beyond that is like the Michelin man The place is fun and be prepared for a loud environment because it is small but go with an open mind and it is a nice different experience I will go back and try their fish and chips

My go-to favorites are the blackened mahi tacos, fresh oysters, mac and cheese bites, shrimp po' boy, and the chicken wings. Everything is always flavorful and well done, and the oyster shooters are a must. I love sitting outside when I can, and the atmosphere is fun, relaxed, and welcoming. The staff is always friendly, and it's just an easy place to enjoy good food and good vibes. Consistently solid and always a good experience. Five stars every time.

Best seafood boil in North Charleston BY FAR!…read more I had literally the most incredible service . The daiquiri's SLAPPED (I recommend a watermelon daq) and I got a half pound of shrimp, crawfish, and black mussels with the full assortment of sauces and spices). To. Die. For! For real. I was told to seat myself at the bar, I guess because I was by myself, but instead of the bartender taking my order like is normal when you are seated at the bar, a server came by and stood next to me to take my order and explain the menu. I ordered the Weekend Special (it's call that, but you can order it at any time, same for the other specials), hush puppies, and sausage. One thing very different here is they cook the food in a plastic bag with a sauce mixed in, so you pick a sauce at the time of order. Service was fast and friendly. I don't want to get anyone in trouble by going into detail, but some of the people behind the bar were pretty unprofessional. Not to me directly or to customers, but the conversations employees were having should have been done somewhere not in front of customers. Hush puppies were both sweet and savory which I like. Shrimp, potatoes, and crab came out done well. Lobster tail was tough and rubbery. The sausage was fine, tasted like Hillshire Farms or an equivalent which is fairly meh to me but I know lots of folks like that. I really did not care for the food being cooked in the sauce. I had some in Cajun and some in garlic and butter, and it was just too heavy for me. I really just like me seafood bare and dip it in some melted butter and lemon pretty lightly, so having a few cups of sauce in each bag of food was just way too much for my tastes. This is a personal preference thing so I am not knocking stats for it, but I didn't care for this style (plus it was super messy), and I don't want all the extra calories from a sauce. Price was pretty good for the amount of food I had. J.Ja

We went on a Friday evening & it wasn't very busy. James was our server & he was attentive & kind. They have a full bar, including an IPA on draft! I'd have a hard time deciding between the fried shrimp & garlic butter shrimp boil next time! Both were that good. I wholeheartedly recommend Crab Du Jour!

Took myself out to Crab Du Jour, rare weekend without the kids and they aren't seafood fans. My server was fast and friendly and food came out very quickly as promised. This is one of those places that do "boil in bag with a bunch of spices" and I have come to realize that just isn't my thing. I like steamed seafood, maybe with some spices. I had Combo A (crab legs, mussels, and shrimp) + sausage, with the Old Bay seasoning. There was a bit too much seasoning it was all really salty, but I still thought it was good. Again, book just isn't my thing but that's a personal opinion, and I think if you like boil you will like it here. I felt the pricing was very fair as well. Overall a good experience! J.Ja

For the Tasty Crab Special (1/2 lb shrimp, 1 snow crab cluster, lobster tail, 2 ears of corn, 2 potatoes, 2 eggs) and added 1/2 lb of sausage. It was too much food for me, and I knew it would be but I always want to try everything at these places. I had it Cajun sliced to mild. Food came out fast and service was friendly. The seafood was nicely cooked, even the lobster tail which is often overcooked at these places. The potatoes and corn were overcooked but I don't care too much about that Cajun spice was good. I'm still not the biggest fan of seafood boil, I really prefer steamed, but that is a personal preference. As far as boil goes, this is one of the better ones I have had. Inside it isn't much, but there's some real personality from all of the writing on the walls. But let's be honest you come to one of these places to chow down on seafood while wearing a plastic bin and vinyl gloves, it isn't a place you come to in your Sunday best. It is enclosed and air conditioned and the tables are spaced out much more than on the inside. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly and on point bringing their offerings. We started what would become our favorite dish of the night Scallops on the half shell. At first, you may balk at the price but believe me worth every penny. They were $26 at the time of this review but they are topped with two kinds of caviar. It was one of those dishes that after one bite you lean back and savor the flavors. The casino butter, sake and chili garlic will make your taste buds dance. I tried the chili garlic shrimp and gnocchi, and it was so good my wife threatened to steal it. Pillowy soft gnocchi in a rich, decadent sauce with hints of heat was outstanding. It is listed as a small plate, but I found the portion size quite filling. My wife had the oyster roll which was more like a po' boy not a sushi roll. We have had other oyster rolls, and they sometimes disappoint but not this one. Some restaurants just put a few oysters on the top of the bun and that's it, but this roll had oysters all throughout. It came with house made pickles and a single fried oyster on the side as a warmup. I highly recommend it. For dessert we shared a key lime pie semifreddo which was so pretty I almost felt bad for eating it. It was topped with a graham cracker crumble and both raspberry and lime curds. The texture reminding me of ice cream and was not overly tart with a nice hint of key lime. The torched flowers of meringue were really a great touch. The best word we both agreed on was "satisfying" and would definitely come back again!
