We had noticed this cute little course several times and decided to visit. It was not busy at all and a very relaxed atmosphere. The trees looming above provide shade throughout the course and a cozy vibe that you really notice throughout the 18 holes. While some holes are pretty basic, many are quite complex and keep the game interesting. Really enjoyed the time I spent here, I would definitely come to putt putt here again.

What a wonderfully fun experience to do miniature golf in such a stunning setting! All the tall, beautiful pine trees surrounding you to block out the days hot sun was perfection. 18 holes and they're all challenging and fun! I thought the greens were kept nice and tidy and found no problem as in some of the other reviews. Karen was just wonderful. Very friendly. Parking can't be challenging on a busy day, but I highly recommend this activity and miniature golf course! So much fun!

We visited hot shot mini golf in the early afternoon, (they're open 12-5) and we loved it. It cost $6 per adult, CASH only to play a round. We are always looking for new mini golf places so we knew we had to check it out. The holes had a lot of character and were very challenging. There was plenty of free parking at the location. Unfortunately it started to rain during our game, but we decided to stick it out and we were glad we did. Several other groups stopped playing in the middle of their game, but it didn't rain that long. There are a lot of funny signs along the course and a good mix of holes with hazards that make it challenging. I even got a hole in one on the volcano hole! We'd definitely play another round if we come back to big bear and highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area.

For my wife and I this is a must-do. We love the old course. Yes it has seen better days but who hasn't? Friendly, shaded and fun.

The go-karts were probably the biggest thrill for me, with plenty of speed and just enough friendly competition to make every lap interesting. I also loved the ropes course, especially the way it's set up. Instead of following a single path, you pay for your time and can freely explore different obstacles and challenges at your own pace. There's even a small zip line mixed in, which was a fun surprise. The tubing was another highlight. There's something surprisingly exciting about launching down the hill on an inner tube and picking up serious speed, even in the springtime. Riding the magic carpet back to the top made it easy to squeeze in run after run without wearing myself out. Overall, it felt like a full day of active fun with enough variety to keep things interesting, and I left tired in the best possible way.

Parking was free, the line to purchase tickets was long because you have to sign a waiver first. There is no outside food or drinks allowed, but you can leave to go to your car. There were 6 tubing lanes open when we went. You pretty much grab a tube (two if you have a young child that needs help), go up an escalator like lift to the top, wait in a long line again, slide down, get rushed off so the next group can tube down, and walk back to the escalator lift to repeat the process. We went tubing down 4 times and the excitement was short lived and got boring for us adults fairly quick. Overall, if you're looking for something fun to do for the kids. This place was decent. The kids really enjoyed it, but after a while it got boring.

The only thing to keep in mind is that if you visit during a busy time, you might end up waiting a bit behind the group ahead of you before starting the next hole. But overall, still such a fun spot to come to with friends!

The entry to the venue are between JCPenney and Macys parking lot area. When you enter the doors, you walk down the set of stairs to enter the play area. Prices are listed and easy to follow for everything they offer. They have a worker there to assist with payment for whatever you decide. Arcade game cards are purchased at a kiosk. Mini golf prices are reasonable per person. Escape rooms are for 6th & up based on information I was provided when I last went Saturday since my kids wanted to do it and we needed to know what ages were allowed for their rooms. (Our kids are 2nd & 4th grade so we weren't able to do it) There are 27 holes for the mini golf. Each course is short but fun for small kids and themed differently. Only downsize is that if there's a huge group ahead of you, it takes a while to wait there for them to finish before you can head onto that course. So that's the only negative of each course when it's busy even though we went as slow as possible and played the same course multiple times while waiting for the group ahead of us to finish. There's only so much you can do while waiting before another group comes up behind yours. The arcade is small but they have some fun games. The kids had fun playing them. Pricing is a bit high & credits needed to play the games are kind of high as well compared to other arcade places but the games allow tickets to be won so it was worth it for us since kids had fun.

We went on as many rides as we can, my son is too short for the bigger rides and unfortunately my nephew is too tall for the kid rides. I couldn't believe how much fun it was when there isn't so many people crowding! A few rides weren't working at the time or they said it's been closed such as the gravity one, sawmill, and a boat one that was covered with a tarp. We had so much fun at the arcade, the prizes are the same as any ticket prize location, lots of games and on a hot day it's such a nice place to sit and relax. We didn't try the mini golf or the buccaneer water play area, it wasn't crowded so we definitely could've gone but we stayed at the rides and the arcade. The only downside is we cannot bring any outside drinks or food, we weren't sure if they would allow us to bring dietary restricted foods if we mentioned allergies or intolerances, but we were fine without our snacks.

When we entered the park, we double checked with everyone if there are rides open for his height and we were told there were plenty. Especially for the bumper car because that's what he's really looking forward to first time at an amusement park. So we spent $100+ to get in. When we got bumper car place, there were people in there already playing. We were the only one waiting there, and i asked that staff lady if my son was tall enough to ride the car. She glanced at me and yelled, 'I'll check later'. Even when the ruler was hided next to her, even when there's no one else in the line, even when she's doing nothing just standing there looking at the adults driving bumper cars... she just had us waited and got my son hope so high. When their turn was done, she slowly pushed the car to the side, took out the ruler behind her stand and told us oh he's not tall enough. I held it in, and asked politely if my son can sit at the passenger seat and I'll drive since there were seat belts. She said no way. Only because my 4 years old was so excited to get in there, I tried again, asking ' There's no one here yet, you don't need to turn on the machine, can he just sit on it and feel the bumper car for one minute?' Again, she said 'no way'. We understand you may have a rule to follow, but you could have tell us the second we ask you if we our height meet your requirement instead of getting a kid's expectations so high, letting him watch others playing and having fun, then turn him down while you are not even doing anything except watching bunch white adults riding the bumper car. Castle park could have a ruler showing at front saying below 42" are not gonna have any rides, instead, they charge full price for kids over 36" while have nothing preparing for them. Our first amusement park experience leaving with tears and upset, my son was crying he said 'I waited. Why can't I play bumper car?' I told him, 'sorry baby, to make sure you are safe, you need to be tall enough to ride that.' And he cried, 'but I waited...'
