    Hole with a house hazard
    Sarah C.

We visited hot shot mini golf in the early afternoon, (they're open 12-5) and we loved it. It cost $6 per adult, CASH only to play a round. We are always looking for new mini golf places so we knew we had to check it out. The holes had a lot of character and were very challenging. There was plenty of free parking at the location. Unfortunately it started to rain during our game, but we decided to stick it out and we were glad we did. Several other groups stopped playing in the middle of their game, but it didn't rain that long. There are a lot of funny signs along the course and a good mix of holes with hazards that make it challenging. I even got a hole in one on the volcano hole! We'd definitely play another round if we come back to big bear and highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area.

    Cosmic Golf!
    Chuck C.

We noticed Cosmic Golf last year when were up here for our annual weekend in Big Bear, and made sure we would do it this year. We arrived late on Friday night. I looked it up and found out it was open until 1200 am! When we arrived and there only a few other people there having a great time. Sasha and Paige were very friendly and personable. They got us prepared to play giving us several choices of putters and various selection of colorfully painted golf balls. The entire golf course was painted with florescent paint. Glowing in the black lights there beautiful patterns, shape, images and accents on permanent fixtures that highlighted their definition. We had an incredible time on the compact 18 hole miniature course. At the end of the evening when we turned in our equipment, we had a nice conversation with Sasha and Paige. They gave us a history on the course, and suggestions for other activities and places to eat in Big Bear. Since we are amateur Ghost Hunters, we inquired about any reported haunted locations. They were very helpful in that respect as well. I will be sure to recommend Hot Shot Miniature Golf (especially Cosmic Golf) to family and friends! Thanks for a great time and experience!

What a great place-- affordable family fun for all ages. We made memories to last a lifetime. Even our kids, 17 and 19, had a blast.

The go-karts were probably the biggest thrill for me, with plenty of speed and just enough friendly competition to make every lap interesting. I also loved the ropes course, especially the way it's set up. Instead of following a single path, you pay for your time and can freely explore different obstacles and challenges at your own pace. There's even a small zip line mixed in, which was a fun surprise. The tubing was another highlight. There's something surprisingly exciting about launching down the hill on an inner tube and picking up serious speed, even in the springtime. Riding the magic carpet back to the top made it easy to squeeze in run after run without wearing myself out. Overall, it felt like a full day of active fun with enough variety to keep things interesting, and I left tired in the best possible way.

The lines are terribly long because of the same reason they don't help to push people down. It's very unorganized and highly OVERPRICED! We were greeted by energetic staff who asked us which package we would take. Naturally the 24 hole golf is included and decided on the escape room option. There are two options, one alien themed and the other pirate themed. We went with the Alien 51 themed one since the pirate one was in use. After a short video we had a 10 minute time limit to solve the puzzle. It's quite straight forward but quite a thinker at times. We were able to solve it with little time to spare. Me and my friend had a great time figuring it out and will gladly return to see the other offering down the line. Onto the main course, the mini golf! The courses are laid out in a way that guides you along each hour in order. Each course has its own theme ranging from a Dia de Los Muertos themed one to one with the great wall of China serving as a ramp. It was definitely a vibe and we had a blast. Some holes scale up in difficulty while others are quite straight forward. Overall this was a great time and excellent way to spend time together with a friend.

I was surprised to see that they actually have two different 18 hole courses! We all got the 2 hour unlimited package, and we did alot actually during our time there. We did two 18 hole mini golf courses, I did a little rock climbing on the rock wall, and played a couple arcade games. I felt like the arcade didn't have many games. I was a little bummed to see that. It is a small space which I understand, but it would've been cool to have more variety and options. I like those Dance Dance Revolution games, I don't think I saw one like that there. It would be nice if the arcade was updated and had more games inside. Every employee we were interacted was great. They were friendly, helpful, and got to us as quick as they could. It's just that when we were trying to pay and get our golf clubs, there wasn't anyone at the desk and it seemed like the one employee had to help with the prize desk. And of course, there was a kid who was taking a while to pick a prize so we had a line behind us. It's not anyone's fault but I think they just lack staff. I would absolutely come again for the mini golf haha, it was a fun time.
