She continued to check on us periodically and gave us a beautiful experience. We all ordered a lot of food and everything was delicious. We were on the second floor upstairs and everyone I was with loved their food and service. We had another waiter down the other end but I didn't know his name, he did an amazing job too on the other end of our table. Both Ruth and the other waiter gave us an amazing experience. Thank you Founding Farmers. You have an amazing crew with Ruth she went above and beyond for us. We are thankful for her and the other waiter for our table!! Even though we were such a big party, we felt very comfortable and homey. Thank you again very much!!!!

The establishment has great outdoor seating with a cover from the beating sun and any possible rain. Since I was a bit too hot, we decided to dine inside. The look is warm and welcoming with a great bar. Carmen took care of us. Professional, fun, and positive, her recommendations for food and drink proved to be perfect. Our drinks were well-crafted by the dedicated bar staff. Both were strong and satisfying. My girlfriend got the Yankee pot roast. Since I had the opportunity to try some of it, the meal was delicious. The meat alone was tender and flavorful, and the firm vegetables were fresh and complemented the roast well. I ordered the special, the opah fish, which was meaty and wonderful. I chose their Vera Cruz sauce, which had a little kick but wasn't acidic. Such a great piece of fish. For dessert, we chose their homemade vanilla ice cream with their chocolate sauce. Since the latter wasn't sweet but rich with chocolate, I wouldn't doubt if that wasn't homemade either. We met the manager, Ethan who was absolutely wonderful. On our way out, we picked up a box of their homemade chocolates. For the first time, I got to enjoy milk chocolate that wasn't buried in sugar. Such a great variety of chocolate. My girlfriend and I cannot wait to return!

The main issue, however, was an awkward interaction with a server who told them they were "ordering a lot" and that it seemed like they were going to be "here for a long time." At first, I thought maybe he was joking or trying to be playful, but they told me he was completely serious. After that interaction, my parents felt uncomfortable that they decided to have their food packaged to go rather than stay and eat. They shouldn't have had to feel that way in a place where they were simply trying to enjoy a meal. To make the situation even more uncomfortable, the same server stood at a distance and continued staring at them until they eventually left. What makes this especially disappointing is that this café used to have such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It always felt fun, friendly, and inviting, which is what made my parents' experience today so unexpected and upsetting. Everyone deserves to feel comfortable and respected when they walk into a restaurant, regardless of what or how much they order. I really hope this was an isolated experience and not a reflection of how customers are normally treated. However, I felt it was important to share because my parents left feeling embarrassed and unwelcome when they should have simply been able to enjoy their meal. I sincerely hope the staff can be more mindful of how their comments and actions can make customers feel.

I was like darn I wish I had known when I came in the 1st time. I go sit on the patio to watch the discovery flight takeoff. A young Asian boy comes and ask if I wanted anything to eat or drink I said no the other boy told me the kitchen was closing at 2. An old woman came out a few minutes later and asked if I wanted anything I said I just told the young man no cause the kitchen is closed as it's 208. She said no it's not closed until 230 I said well your staff gave miss information. Because all he offered me was a drink, a coconut key lime pie or blueberry muffin neither of which I eat. So now I feel rushed and forced to buy something to eat. I skimmed the menu as three people stood around me. I took pics and left. Never felt so out of place and unwanted in my life.

Glenwood delivered that excellent dinner this week and it deserves all the stars I can muster up. I had the Ahi Tuna Salad. Delicious, fresh, crispy, and with some of the best sushi-grade tuna I have ever put in my mouth. It was a great entree salad and this is the 2nd time I have had it. You know what, there will definitely be a 3rd time too. But, the diva of this meal was definitely what my spouse got. The incredible, edible rotisserie chicken pot pie!!! OMG this dish was crazy good, so good that I wish I had made it. The crust was the best crust I have ever had in my entire life bar none. It was crisp, flavorful and a little bit doughy. Its taste was great all by itself. But let there be no doubt - the filling was top notch too. Creamy, luxurious with crisp, fresh vegetables and big hunks of rotisserie chicken. It was the BEST! Thank God my spouse shared some with me because it was life changing (ok maybe that's a bit dramatic but you get my drift). The service matched the food. Erika was our server. She was so bubbly, friendly, helpful, smart and hard working. Glenwood is not a haute cuisine restaurant but the service we got from Erika matched the best restaurant service anywhere. That woman can do anything anywhere. I would hire her in a minute. Glenwood is one of those places that has hit its stride and I'm damn glad that I stumbled upon it. I highly recommend - NO - I demand that you go to Glenwood immediately. You will not be disappointed.

We ordered the Big Eaters Platter, the Corned Beef Hash & Eggs, and shared a Nutella Crepe with Strawberries for dessert. The portions were generous, especially the Big Eaters Platter, making it a solid choice if you're coming in hungry. The corned beef hash was decent, and the Nutella crepe with fresh strawberries was a nice sweet finish to the meal. That said, I thought the food was just okay for the price. Nothing we ordered was bad, but nothing really stood out enough to make me want to come back. The quality was solid, but I left feeling like there are better breakfast options in the area for the same price point. If you work nearby or are visiting one of the surrounding medical offices or hospitals, I could definitely see this being a convenient spot for a quick breakfast or lunch. However, as someone visiting the area, I don't think it's a place I'd go out of my way to return to. Overall, friendly service and a clean restaurant helped make for a pleasant experience, but the food didn't quite justify the price. A good neighborhood café if you're close by, but probably not a destination breakfast spot.

I was a little apprehensive that we would have to wait to get a table but the hostess took us right away. We sat outside because we had my dog with us. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. However, she kept forgetting the small things, like glasses of water and sugar for our coffee. When she brought us the sugar each time she would only give us three packets and their were three of us at the table drinking coffee and tea. So that was pretty annoying. The food was good. We usually go to Silver Diner but this was a good change of pace. I ordered the French Toast with Bacon and eggs. It was good, I wish they used different bread for the toast though. Their wasn't really anything special about the dish. My parents ordered the Make Your Mark which included two eggs, meat, hashbrowns, and toast. They both enjoyed their breakfast. Everything was prepared and cooked to their liking. Overall, we had a good experience. Not sure when I will be back. But if you are in the area check them out. Cheers!
