This was my second time dining at Ted's and it was great. I took my parents here for breakfast when they came to visit and they loved it. The service was great. I was a little apprehensive that we would have to wait to get a table but the hostess took us right away. We sat outside because we had my dog with us. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. However, she kept forgetting the small things, like glasses of water and sugar for our coffee. When she brought us the sugar each time she would only give us three packets and their were three of us at the table drinking coffee and tea. So that was pretty annoying. The food was good. We usually go to Silver Diner but this was a good change of pace. I ordered the French Toast with Bacon and eggs. It was good, I wish they used different bread for the toast though. Their wasn't really anything special about the dish. My parents ordered the Make Your Mark which included two eggs, meat, hashbrowns, and toast. They both enjoyed their breakfast. Mother's Day brunch with the family. My son ordered kids waffles plain. They brought it out first with strawberries and we asked kindly for without. They quickly brought out a new waffle. My son ate most of it then asked what's this paper inside the waffle. They had somehow cooked a nutritional label inside the waffle. Unbelievable and disgusting. Manager comped half the breakfast which was a reasonable gesture but we will not be going back. Update - They sent no message back and a $100 gift card. I love Teds! I love that they offer breakfast all day because breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. You get to watch old movies and shows on a projector screen. I have visited this establishment many times over the years. At this particular visit, I was by myself for breakfast. It wasn't busy on a weekday morning. Service was not the greatest unfortunately. I sat there forever before anyone stopped by. I also sat with empty iced tea glass for a ling time. But then out of blue, another server saw my empty glass asked if he can fill my glass. Fortunately, Ted's Bulletin came up in my online search. Placing the order online was seamless. For six people, I ordered deviled eggs as an appetizer, Caesar salad with chicken, and the spring vegetable pappardelle. On the day of the meeting, the food was delivered right on time. Everything arrived hot and fresh, and overall the food was delicious. My only critique is that the vegetable pappardelle was a bit too creamy and saucy for my preference. My colleagues really enjoyed the lunch. At $259 (including delivery fee and tip), it felt a little pricey for six people, but we appreciated having an external caterer with a menu different from our contracted option. Came back for lunch today. Got a bowl of tomato soup that I shared with my partner. They say it's made from scratch every day. The soup is very good. There is a rich tomato taste and the purée has a crushed tomato texture (as opposed to it being a "flat" soup). It's hard for me to describe, but it's really good soup. It is a bit salty, though. My partner had the Mexican Street Salad, with a nice portion of properly prepared (asked for medium rare, and it was) carne asada. I had the Szechuan Hot Chicken Sandwich with fries. It was excellent. An Asian flair, with a good amount of heat (but not overpowering). The heat was countered by the crisp Cole slaw and pickle slices in the sandwich. Everything complemented everything else. The chicken (fried) was a very nice size breast. Even the fries were good and not overly salted. The service was hit and miss. When we were done with our soup appetizer, the empty bowl sat on the table till the check came. Our water glasses were empty a couple of times. The service was the weak point the last time we were here, although this was a step up from last time. The food here is very good and we'll be back. Huge fan of this breakfast spot! You can tell the food is cooked with care. I enjoy getting the pancake stack with sausage, eggs, and hash browns. I would say the drinks could use some improvement. The Happy Hour Meal is the perfect snack before going to see a movie. This month it was hand-battered chicken nuggets, truffle fries with ketchup and cilantro lime dips. I've gotten something different every time hoping to maybe strike gold but no dice. Last time I got the shiitake hash for takeaway. It was awful. The potatoes and mushrooms were both hard and cold. The egg on top was overcooked. Hollandaise sauce, which I normally omit, made it barely edible. Yesterday, I went with some friends and got an ahi tuna noodles dish. It was disgusting. I like seaweed salad but this thing was drenched in it. I couldn't take a bite without seaweed salad soaked soba noodles. There was a miniscule amount of tuna on top that was chewy. If you're forced to dine here, get something fried. The fried pickles were good. It's hard to screw that up. Service was fine and I like that they're flexible with splitting bills. Oooh ..I have an ambivalent relationship with this location! Ive ordered breakfast and brunch a few times..and it was phenomenal, food tasted great, order was well packaged, all the things! But one fateful night, I ordered a very late dinner-A Burger with a side of sautéed broccolini. And discreetly hidden within my broccolini was the biggest (figuratively speaking) wad of straight dirty blonde matted hair. Almost to the point that this had to be done on purpose. Maybe a disgruntled worker, who had a long day, and my late uber eats order just set them off. Fortunately, I always inspect my food before digging in, and I always say my prayers over my food-so I caught the sucker just in time. It was late at night, and restaurant was closed by the time I received my food, that I didn't bother calling, but I made sure to never order from this location again. It's unfortunate that people behave like this, especially since whoever prepares their breakfast options, really take pride in their work. We wanted to get out of the area and venture out to here for brunch. We arrived at 1pm thinking our reservation was here, but it wasn't when confirmed oops my bad. Anyway, the check in was accommodating and we were seated in less than 5 minutes, a win! The restaurant was packed but ordered were pushing and good vibes and music as well. We ordered crab cake Benedict with hash browns, side of cheddar grits, side chicken sausage links, the bug Mark, and two green juice with turmeric and ginger. Oh forgot, we tried the tart which is childhood play on pop tarts. Everything was delicious except the tarts. The strawberry was better than blueberry, which I will rate them 2.5/5. Four of us went to Ted's Bulletin on a nice Saturday for my mom's 88th birthday. This was my first time, but my husband had gone a couple of times and likes their breakfasts. The nice manager helped us with a table outside as my parents have mobility issues. There were a couple of small hiccups, but overall it was an excellent time. We ordered large breakfasts that came faster than I would've expected as there were a lot of patrons in the restaurant. The pancakes were good, the scrambled eggs, which my mom and I like cooked hard, were perfect. The bacon was crisp and not overdone. Since my parents were sharing a large breakfast, the kitchen had brought out two plates with the food split already. I was impressed by that courtesy. We were very happy with our food and overall experience. I look forward to a repeat visit. (I thought I had taken photos but they didn't turn up on my phone. I asked for the carne asada to be cooked medium well. Unfortunately, the meat was inedible. I had to leave it. The rest of the salad was pretty good but not worth the price if the meat isn't edible. My son loved his TUBS combo and the brisket grilled cheese and tomato soup. My husband enjoyed his pancake combo! We had one waiter when we started but then another one took over. No big deal BUT.... I asked for the check, thinking, he might get the hint about the birthday but instead I had to ask if they were going to do something. Then, my husband was like no, don't. But, I let him know that it was put in the comments weeks ago. The waiter brought out one of their pop tarts with a candle. We visited on a Thursday evening. It was not crowded on the restaurant side. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and taken to our table. Our server did a great job throughout our visit. We started with the jalapeno wontons and those were great. I had the sea bass and that was good as well. My wife had the steak frites and she really enjoyed her dinner. We finished with a little raspberry tart. Not too sweet or heavy, so it was a good ending. They may be known for their breakfast, but their dinners are pretty good, too. In terms of the food, the cornbread was not my favorite. Maybe I just prefer a different style of cornbread. And the spread was so sweet it tasted like icing. The pot roast and the seared tuna bowl, however, were delicious! Check out the photos. No bite was spared. I forgot to photograph the giant slice of carrot cake but that was pretty good. At $22 is great. 4 or 5 decent sized pieces of fried chicken on a big ol waffle with a big scoop of chives butter is exactly what I needed in my life. The server asked if I wanted the hot honey drizzled on top or on the side. I said both. I like my honey. I like my hot honey. I got it all. Plenty of honey on top, plenty of honey on the side and it was spicy. The plate was covered in honey before any knife cut into it. This was the honey from an entire hive. Now that I'm done ranting about my plate of glorious honey with some waffles and chicken. The decor is all about making you feel welcome. Been to this location a few times now, and its been consistently good. Basically the same menu as the other locations, and a similar layout. It can get a little loud, and watch out for where you are seated as the servers are rushing in and out of the kitchen through narrow aisles. The service is excellent- attentive and helpful, and this latest time made my daughter feel very welcome there. The food is good overall- the brunch pasta and chicken wrap/ salad are some of my go to items. But we can't come here without getting the Ted's tart, its always the highlight of our meal. read more

I ordered the hot honey chicken and biscuits with a side of bacon and tater tot's. I also requested they add cheese but the cheese was omitted from my order, bummer. I did not care for the style of tater tots, I prefer a traditionally crispy rough edges kinda tater tot, however, the tater tots were flavorful so I will give them that. Located in a small shopping area known as Downtown Crown with free garage and street parking. I come here about once a year as one of the go-to meetup places with a few old coworkers and now friends. It was all the rage as a more upscale diner that makes their own "pop tarts" but I always thought their tarts were only ok like something I could make and probably tastier if served slightly warm. I judge food based on how easily I may be able to replicate at home with my amateur skillset. We normally go during office lunch hours, so never too busy and service has been good and quick. Might depend on when you go, but we're always able to have a good and long conversation over our meal. I always try to get something different, today I tried the tuna tartare - not as much tuna and not diced as delicately for a tartare more like poke chunks, and the quality of the fish is just ok but expected for the price. Asian inspired flavors but a tad salty, missing some acid so maybe they should serve it with a wedge of lemon or lime, I didn't feel like asking for one. Also got the Hong Kong style French toast, a bit sweet as expected from an American diner. The Crab Cake Benedict with hash and a side of bacon was also good, nothing special and a bit pricey for what you get since the bacon was extra. I'll give it a 3.5 for food, 4 for service, and 3.5 for ambiance. Tough call whether to round up to a 4 or down to a 3, but it's been a nice location for me to catch up with my friends through the years, so 4 it is! read more

The first impression- the ladies washroom was trash filled and no TP. One soap dispenser was missing and one of the 2 sinks didn't work- no water. The silverware came 10 minutes after food was served. On of the 4 meals was not served with the others and arrived 25 minutes later. They end up not charging us. It took more than 20 minutes to wait for our bill. The other food was good, but the children's chicken fingers (that were served late) were just breading. read more
