We stayed for the convenience of subway access to NYC and our room was quiet and clean and great service and a nice view of NYC! Very close to subway train and bus and shops! We enjoyed our stay and if we come back to NY will stay there again! Heads up flushing specially Main Street is very busy and dirty but the hotel is nice! This will be a simple one star review. Booked a double bed room for three guests. Checked in, and they said "opps sorry, we oversold that room due to a system error, you can only get a one bed room instead - here's 5k points, please accept and go away". So, long story short, to stay off the streets at 10pm, we had to fit three people on a bed where one of us wasn't comfortable snuggling up against us - horrible three nights of sleep. Service was tremendously bad considering this was their fault. They didn't even give us a room with the NYC skyline. So eff this place, do not book. It's on the outskirts of Flushing anyways, the lobby is small - you're MUCH better off at the Sheraton. read more

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was incredibly disappointing. We checked in late after a long day of travel, only to spend the entire night listening to the air conditioner make a loud thumping noise that made it nearly impossible to sleep. The room itself felt worn, unclean, and nowhere near what I expected from this hotel. It honestly reminded me of a budget motel rather than the quality I was paying for. The most frustrating part was how the hotel handled the situation afterward. Staff acknowledged the problem and even agreed via text to provide a 50% refund. After that, I spent over a week repeatedly following up with no response. When they finally got back to me, they completely changed their position and offered only a $50 refund instead of honoring what they had already promised. The lack of communication and failure to stand behind their word was far more disappointing than the noisy room itself. If you're considering staying here, be aware that if something goes wrong, don't count on the hotel to follow through on the resolution they promise. I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience. read more

Front desk staff are what we appreciated the most. Sun and the other staff were so thoughtful and helped with local restaurants, logistics, parking ($35 for small car, anything over SUV is $45 and valet only). Surprisingly great service. Close to everything including restaurants and the concert venue we came for. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Ours looked west towards the city. Didn't try but there is a restaurant on the third floor. We were not able to check in early but able to leave our luggages in storage. I can't recommend a better place to stay than right here. The rooms are lovely, the beds and pillows are so comfortable. The shower has two shower heads, one is detachable and makes it perfect for washing your hair and getting all of the shampoo and conditioner out. Speaking of shampoo and conditioner, they stock one of my favourite brands for the toiletry products; Malin and Goetz. The shampoo is a peppermint product and the conditioner is cilantro. The body's is rum, which smells a bit to manly for me but I still use it. And the lotion is the b5 body moisturiser. The hotel is located in a superb area for foodies and shoppers. Flushing Chinatown, Queens, is the largest Chinatown in NY and the USA. There are so many fabulous, shops and businesses in this locale. Definitely book here for a great hotel experience. read more

This hotel was in a great location! However, we had to wait 10 minutes for our rooms. My room was in between the ice maker and the elevators. Went downstairs and got another room which was 2 floors above in the same exact location, in between the ice machine and elevators! The view was amazing though. As was the view from the 4th floor. However, I dont know if the view makes up for the dirty,smelly hallway carpets and dirty rooms. The staff was friendly! read more

As an IHG Diamond Elite and Marriott Titanium member, I have stayed in hundreds of hotels, but I have never encountered a property as dishonest as this one. The Issue: My room had no complimentary water upon arrival. I exchanged text messages with a staff member named Lloyd, who explicitly told me to "just grab two bottles from the Market, those are complimentary." He confirmed this again in person at the front desk. Despite this, I was charged $8.99 for the water. The Dishonesty: When I filed a billing claim, the hotel management (specifically a representative named Francisco) claimed they reviewed CCTV and spoke to the staff, denying any such conversation took place. This is a blatant lie. I have saved text message screenshots from Lloyd confirming the water was free. It is insulting that a hotel would go to such lengths--fabricating "investigation results"--to avoid refunding a small, unauthorized charge caused by their own staff's instructions. Verdict: If you value transparency and honest billing, stay elsewhere. There are plenty of other options in the area that actually respect their loyal elite members. I am currently initiating a credit card dispute for this unauthorized charge. read more

There was an important family event in the area beginning of the month and I had booked very late (needed to stay in the area a couple of nights for that weekend). I am no stranger to downtown Flushing. The hotel is a short walk from all the delicious and popular restaurants and dessert spots that are very well known. that area where the event was being held is usually super busy (especially on weekends). I probably passed this hotel many times previously without realizing it was even there (it is located at the start of Prince Street when you exit Northern). I had not heard of this hotel before but it was one of the few available on short notice in the area. One of the convenient features of this hotel is that it has onsite parking and valet (if you are traveling with a vehicle). They add a fee of approximately $35 a night to the bill (which I found out about when checking out). That is a pretty good price considering they have a large garage where you do not have to worry about anything happening and you have access to you vehicle anytime you need during your stay (you just need to let front desk know and they will send the valet to bring the car to you around the front of the hotel). The wait time can be between a few minutes or several minutes depending on how busy they are. I made all the bookings online and when I arrived, there were two very helpful gentleman at the front desk. Daniel confirmed my booking and also was kind enough to get me a room that was not on the first floor. The other gentleman Lloyd also took time to make sure my check in was smooth and helped me reprogram my keycard when it stopped working (you need to swipe within the elevators to use them as well as swipe into your room). Per standard procedure your card is put on file with a hold to account for any damages or extra charges that may occur during the stay. The room had a very comfortable big bed and big screen television. I rarely get to watch any actual television nowadays so it was a nice break while I got ready for my event. The bathroom had fresh towels and bar soap. It was a very cozy room that that perfectly fit what I needed for a short stay. Checkout was smooth. I got to the front desk by 12p and I got a bill outlining the cost of my stay. I had only used the parking service for one night and found street parking on the last night as I arrived back at the hotel very late. They made an adjustment and printed me a copy of the final bill. Since I booked last minute I understood that the rates would be higher than usual but I am glad to know that if I need a quality hotel near Downtown Flushing this hotel is a solid choice. read more

Great base for a self guided culinary tour around Flushing's Chinatown. We were on a quick trip to do just that and the hotel was perfect in the sense. The staff were amazingly friendly and the shuttle service to LaGuardia was fast and easy. Inside the rooms were good size but very basic. Beds were cozy and pillow menu was nice. My fiancé and I stayed here two nights for a funeral taking place in the area. We picked this location due to it being a convenient distance for us. Upon arriving we were greeted by the front desk and the Gentleman was very accommodating and helpful. It was a quick and easy check in and we were upgraded to the second to the last floor with a beautiful view of the NYC skyline. There was a small bar/restaurant present but we did not ever see it open other than for complementary coffee in the mornings 0630-1030. I could hear street sound's occasionally even on the 10th floor but they did not disturb us while sleeping. Any hallway noise did not come through the door into the room. Cleanliness of the room bathroom needs a bit of improvement. The corners of the shower tile had not been properly cleaned for mold and discoloration. The nightstand closest to the door needs to be corrected. It was off level by about a quarter inch making it difficult to set things on. read more

4.5 Stars on an amazing stay! There were about 3 of us taking a trip to NYC and found a great rate in Queens. It's actually in a deeper part of queens, the Flushing area! Amazingly enough, you're surrounded by my favorite type of food, Chinese with plenty of dim sum, hot pot, and the delectables. Upon entrance you'll walk into the lobby and are greeted with the amazing smell of lemongrass. I loved how clean the area was and our room was clean also. The bed was very comfortable and room cleaning service was good. I would stay here again. The only negatives are, you can hear everything within these walls. So if you're a very light sleeper, you may not like it. But it was perfect for me. Another negative, the front of the hotel is just a cement and pavement. The front needs to get spruced up a bit. Everything in the hotel is brand new. If you want a newly built hotel, Hotel Indigo is the way to go. The bed is comfortable. You will sleep well. They have a mini fridge (super helpful). They have an espresso machine, TV, and microwave. The staff are super friendly. They always are on the task at hand. They greet you and help you right away. Parking is about $30 a night. It is a must because not a lot of parking around the area. The issue is that you can wait anywhere from 10 minutes to 45 minutes for your car. A tip to get your car faster is to call the front desk (0) - ten minutes before you leave your room. The business center is on the second floor. It has two computers. The fitness center is on the 4th floor. Not a lot of machines but all are new and usable. Water is available inside. On the balconies, located on the 3rd and 4th floors you can see citifield and manhattan. I enjoy the balconies. They have a restaurant on the 3rd floor. I have not tried it yet. They also have snacks for sale near the front desk. The shrimp fries snack tasted great. I would recommend. An abundance of lovely restaurants around the area. Bakeries, Asian specialties, bubble teas, etc. The northern boulevard highway is next to the hotel. You can quickly take the Highway from the hotel. The 7 train Main Street is the stop to get here by subway train. Many buses go here as well - Q65, Q25. read more

On our road trip to Salem, our halfway point was NY. We've stayed in Manhattan and Brooklyn before. This time, Queens. Kinda on the outer part of their Chinatown. Locals told me this is the newer Chinatown in NY. It didn't look it. Anyway, the hotel. Kinda pricey for $200 a night, but you can't beat the location if you wanted to be in or near chinatown. Parking I believe was $30 a night. Cute hotel. Nice rooms. Comfy bed. Would stay here again. Walking distance to Citifield if you're going there for an event. read more

I truly can't find the words to express how extraordinary my stay was at this hotel. First and foremost LLYOD at the front desk made my entire stay beyond phenomenal. I recently had surgery and Lloyd took one look at me, read the room and did not hesitate to take care of me as a diamond elite member but most importantly as a human being. He was extremely professional and anticipated my needs. There was not a need/ problem/ question that he did not have a resolution too. He helped me facilitate dry cleaning, food, toiletries etc. He was so kind and knowledgeable about the area, the hotel and services offered. I travel for work and I've stayed at a bunch of hotels and IVE NEVER HAD AWESOME SERVICE LIKE THIS!!!! Lloyd you are an awesome human and I hope you get recognition for your hard work and dedication. DO NOT use the long term parking here. Parked here for a vacation. Attendant damaged my car and failed to take responsibility. Supervisor Dan and his regional supervisor were unhelpful and said they aren't responsible. Attendant Saab seen driving my car to a lower level and damaged my shift gear as he tried to reverse car whole shift was on park. Damn the supervisor has been avoiding us and we had to pay out of pocket to get car towed out of there. Hotel states they aren't affiliated but saw the whole thing happen. read more

Hotel Indigo was our first choice. My wife and I are Chinese Foodies traveling to New York for a wedding from Miami Beach. We had only 48 hours to explore the best kept Chinese Food in the New Chinatown in Flushing New York. Arriving early to our hotel before check in time. Liza and Dulce were kindly enough to accommodate us by signing up my wife Gemma and I to indigo free membership rewards program and offered us an early check in advance for our trip. We were so happy to have the chance to get to check in early and dropped off our luggage's and explore all the great food flushing new Chinatown's have to offer. We went to Young and Rich NY (pig's feet with green pepper wow was to die for), Molly's Tea #2 most popular snowy jasmine, tangram mall, white bear chili oil dumplings, joes stream crepes, New World Mall (Sheng Jian Bao) and the list goes on. It's new. Some complications.... Rooms are somewhat small. Hold the the flusher else the toilet doesn't flush well. No fridge or microwave in room. Have to ask for it and it may take some time before they show up. Window can open but hard to close. You have to go to the 2nd floor to check in instead of the first floor. Pretty new and somewhat clean. Service I had to call for the fridge and it's been more than 45 minutes and the guy still hasn't brought it over. Finally got the fridge its a mini.. they only give it to you when you ask.. the shower has no door so you will get the floor in a big @$$$$$$$ puddle read more

After parking my car at Indigo Hotel for a month (30 days) to fly out of LGA, I came back 45 mins late due to the shuttle being super late. The attendant tried to charge me extra to which I refused to pay. Spoke to the manager and got the $9 charge dismissed. The attendant went to get my car and I have video of him BREAKING my BMW antenna off the back of the car out of spite. Cost me $200 to repair. Don't park here!! From the attention to detail during the stay ensuring that we were comfortable, helping us locate venues, places of interest, restaurants, and even hosting us. Everyone was amicable, knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely interested in assisting us and ensuring that our time spent in NYC was not only remarkable but memorable. I heavily recommend the restaurant in the Indigo Hotel. The chef is simply a culinary savant. From simple plates like charcuterie boards to intricate delicacies that I won't spoil (as you will just have to experience for yourself!) Everything was exquisite, tasty, and simply just delicious, nothing was ever bland or usual. I tip my hat to the chef for his hard work, diligence, and passion for his craft.  I want to thank the general manager of the hotel for his diligence and assistance in all of our questions and requests and for educating us on the story behind the Indigo in Flushing. The history, research, and passion for Flushing's is displayed in the hotel in a fashion that is alluring, discrete and inviting. Everything is placed, displayed, shown or presented for a reason, I definitely recommend inquiring about details to fully appreciate the thought that has gone into the design for this Indigo. Great accommodations in an area not far from the airport! The staff are incredibly helpful, courteous and friendly.

My sister and I flew in from Texas for a wedding in Queens, and it was an AMAZING EXPERIENCE. The cleanliness was a TOP priority to us, and when we saw the cleanliness rating-- we did not hesitate to book. We initially booked an AIR BnB and we went based off the reviews and they were all LIES. That place reeked through the WALLS. I took a lost but I didn't care, I was in NY for 5 days and I didn't want waste anymore time. My sister found this hotel and we immediately booked. It did not disappoint!!! SUPER CLEAN, LITERALLY SPARKLING CLEAN!!!!!! Amazing private balcony, the front desk receptionist ladies and gentlemen were all nice and friendly. I told the receptionist my situation and she immediately put us in a room with a GORGEOUS MANHATTAN VIEW!! Tons on Ubers within minutes away! The bathroom was great and shower's water pressure was phenomenal. I will definitely be coming back. read more

One friendly staff member is the only reason why the hotel is not rated a one. Upon check in there were no rooms available, understandable since I was early. I was told to "take a walk" in 90 degree weather until 3pm. Once I arrived again, there were still no rooms available and once a room was found it was dirty. 30 minutes later I was able to find a room. The room is clean and brand new, though for being brand new I'm not sure why there were dings in the paint, flickering lights and damaged walls. Water and coffee were not available every day, hotel amenities were not told or listed, no recognition for being a loyal IHG member. Elevators were slow, and construction impeded ride sharing. The restaurant was the worst dining experience I've ever had. The "chef" does not know Cesar dressing goes on a Cesar salad and the "chicken wings" were breaded chicken fingers. Menu was misleading and the manager seemed to not care about my experience. In fact management one day told me no one could not even sit at the bar. The second day the bar was full but this was hotel management after a party. I was grateful they allowed me to sit though. Obvious SLA violations present when management told me they don't have a liquor license yet but "you can bring your own alcohol in". Not sure if anyone knows anything here. This hotel is mediocre at best I had better at a motel. I did see there was no mini fridge that is sorta understandable but no microwave thats crazy because I went to motel cheaper then this and it comes with a microwave and mini fridge. The other reason this gets a one star is when I first got their I turned on the tv and I couldn't watch anything the channels were not working not even youtube because their tv couldn't connect to wifi then I asked for a engineer to fix it they fixed it but it only lasted a day and I decided to let it go since me and my family were going to be out for most of the days. The shower didn't have a sliding door or curtain which a cheap motel will have and my kids almost slipped in the bathroom until we had to put a towel on the floor and the shampoo and body wash bottle were empty so my family wasn't able to shower for a day. The days I were there one of the elevator broke so there was only one available and oh boy was it bad it took me around 7 minutes to get to the 7th floor because it either kept stopping at others floor which I get thats how a elevator work but the other time it went up to other floors when nobody pressed to go up to. The Ac was too loud and my family could barely sleep but if we turned it off it would be too hot and the phone in the room will not work at all.
