Four Points by Sheraton Flushing is a 10 min walk from the last stop of the 7 train. There is a drink station just off from the hotel desk where you may help yourself to cold water, hot water, tea bags, and hot cocoa mix. There might have also been coffee at times. Not for free is a Pantry offering snacks, cereal, drinks, frozen treats, and a few helpful options. In our room, we found plenty of towels, and a spare toilet paper roll. It was roomy both in the bathroom and in the bedroom. After our time here I saw a video by theholdernessfamily mentioning hotel bathrooms with barn doors that don't close tightly. I didn't realize that was a thing. But it proved true here! Also, clear glass shower doors which make it impossible to share the bathroom with a pal or non-spouse family member while someone is showering. Located one level below the lobby, their pool is open till 9pm, with a lifeguard! The water was quite warm. The stupid is that the light in their locker room is motion detecting, but only in certain areas, so if you are in there solo and take a longer shower, you will find yourself showering in the dark. There is also no place to hang your clothes or towel while you shower, and no place to privately change clothing except in the same said shower. The fitness center is right next door to the pool. The bad is that airplanes fly over the area a lot, and you can hear them. The walls are also thin enough for us to hear a kid talking to their dad at 5:30am. We stayed here back in late May and asked for a late checkout. I think it was something like $30 extra per hour for late checkout which was fine. However, the front desk failed to notify us that there were issues with the plumbing/ water. What is the point of late checkout if we can't take our time getting ready bc the water coming out is brown? It was so unhygienic and it felt manipulative that they didn't share these details and we had to figure it out for ourselves. read more

The rooms are nice but the front staff are a bunch of liars. Every 20 mins the airport shuttle comes and we waited 30 minutes which is fine but the problem is the shuttle drove right by our pick up location and when I called the front desk said " he is coming back around in 10 minutes" we waited another 15 minutes and he never showed up. The front desk wanted to just get us off the phone. For this reason, not staying there again! read more

Before I begin let me start off by saying that this review is based solely upon my personal experiences and my personal experiences alone, so with that being said let's go!!.. We arrived here and pulled into the underground parking garage, when you pull in you have to have your vehicle valet parked ( there are no other options ) unless you find a parking spot on the street and for those of you that know anything about NYC know that street parking here is a major challenge. Trust me I know because I'm a New York guy!. The rooms were a decent size, bigger than your average big city hotels. I left off two stars, here's why: 1. The rooms were not the cleanest because I seen lots of dust buildup and the toilet wasn't clean to my standards. That's why I always travel with bleach wipes even if the bathroom looks clean to the eye I still do a wipe down for my well being! Also my daughter got locked in the bathroom because the sliding glass door came off track and she couldn't get out!. So we had to leave a slight opening so no one else would get stuck while taking a shower again!. 2. My daughter seen a bug in the half and half jug in the lobby while she was attempting to get hot coffee the morning we checked out, major problem!. A hidden gem in New York. The price was great and location so close to LaGuardia Airport, the U.S. Open, Citi Field and you can even take the # 7 metro into Manhattan. I was here on a layover from Europe. I had a flight the next afternoon so I was able to relax and not stress over traffic. Keep in mind, their FREE shuttle to LGA runs every hour. Their taxi service cost me $35 even though it's close...a bit steep, so consider an Uber. Perhaps they charged me more because there were two of us when I offered a ride to a pilot who was waiting for the shuttle? The staff was very professional and lobby, restaurant downstairs is great. I have to say the staff is one of the most professional and polite I've experienced in the USA in a long time. My only regret is that I didn't get to stay another few nights. I highly recommend this hotel. read more

overall a good stay and a great value for money. they have valet parking for 35 dollars on site but there's a garage a block away that offers 24 hours for 25 dollars so try parking there first pros: very nice location, close to main street flushing. room was beautiful and bed was comfortable. bathroom was nice and big and in general everything looked either new or recently redone. good stay overall. cons: soundproofing is so-so. doors opening and closing are pretty loud anywhere in your vicinity and planes frequently fly very low over the area between 4 and 6:30 am, makes it very hard to sleep. no microwave in the room so food can't be reheated. read more

Had an impromptu stay here due to a flight cancellation. The hotel was clean and modern looking. Check in was very easy. Had a room with 2 double beds on the top floor. Views weren't that exciting but the room was roomy and we had more than enough space to move around and store our items. We were put into one of those weird pods where there are 2 rooms in one door...guess it's kind of like a connecting room situation...except I didn't want or need to connect with anyone...nice to know that's an option...but would I choose that next time if I had the choice...not so much. If I was traveling alone I would not want this, but since I was with someone it was ok. A few blocks away from all the good eats in Flushing. The walk itself felt safe enough. They offer free shuttle pick up and drop off to/from LaGuardia on the hour. The driver was very chatty and wasn't really reading the room well...no one was really wanting to talk to them...but they got us to the airport in about 15 mins. I would stay here again if I needed to be in the area. read more

I did lots of search around hotels in the Flushing area. I considered some ones that are closer to the Main Station 7 line, but ultimately chose this one. One hesitation I had about this place was that other reviews said it would be a little far away from the Main Street station area. It's true, but I also liked this location because it's closer to the College Point residential area. It's more quiet and less crowded/overwhelming. This is a brand new hotel that opened in 2021, I think. The facility is new. The reception staff members are all very friendly. They have a coffee and hot water/tea station, with bathrooms next to it. Parking is valet only and $30/day, with credit card surcharge. The hotel room is actually decently sized, considering typical NYC hotel rooms. They get lots of flight attendants and pilots here. The lobby air ventilation is great, always around 600 ppm. The room ventilation is very poor, always between 1200 to 1800 ppm. Fortunately, there is a small window that you can push open. Then the CO2 would dip below 900 ppm, but never as low as 500 ppm. There is also no ventilation inside the bathroom. So unfortunately cannot give it 5 stars, due to poor ventilation design inside the guest rooms. I would stay here again, but will need to make sure the window stays open to ensure good air circulation. read more

I returned this year as a guest during the 4th of July holiday week for an overnight stay. This location is easily accessible from LaGuardia airport. The property has made some improvements since my last complaint. Upon arrival Ray greeted me at the desk and he was wonderful. He helped choose a room that would offer the best comfort on a high floor. What I appreciate about this property is that it is immaculately clean and beautifully modern. The rooms are well furnished. There are new thermostats and central air for each room unlike many other hotels throughout the borough. The hotel shuttle service is excellent and organized. Unfortunately the location is on a very busy NYC street so this property is not the quietest for resting. The bathrooms are large and offer excellent bath products and conveniences like a makeup cloth. There are some kinks to still work out. When I arrived to my room this visit my television welcomed another guest's whose name was not mine. The pillows were flat this visit and should be replaced. Very uncomfortable. All in all, I believe this is a top choice when traveling to NYC. read more

OMG‼I've solved your off-sight parking issues when heading to the airport for long term parking near LGA. The Four Points by Sheraton Farmington newly, fabulous 5 Stars hotel landed in Queens, NY. From the welcoming concierge, excellent coffee , clean bathroom (important to women), and a BEAUTIFUL comfortable lobby; waiting patiently to serve you. I dropped off Skylar (my car) at the Sheraton Bonvoy valet parking garage. I literally saved over $100+ not taking an Uber/Lyft to & from my resident to LGA. I'm currently boycotting JFK (see my 1 star review), I plead the 5th! Anywho...long term parking can be costly, with horrible reviews about the facility, no protection for your vehicle, that force you to ditch the idea of driving your car to the airport. I found a solid solution, that's accommodating, economically feasible (yes in Cray Cray expensive NYC), easy-Peezy & you get to chill at the Sheraton until the shuttle that runs ever 15 minutes, takes you to your terminal & will pick you up from the airport upon your return. i utilized the SPOT-HERO App & will never leave home without For Sure BEST Parking App ever! read more

Awesome hotel, we took a redeye from SD and arrived at the hotel at 8am. I asked if I could just drop off my bags since it was so early but they had a double queen room available instead of a King so of course we took it. Staff was great, hotel was extremely clean and brand new looking. They have shuttles constantly going to the airports. Breakfast was great if your on a protein diet (Eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, etc). Coffee kiosk in the lobby was great. Would stay again. read more

Second time stay in this hotel. Beside stay in the hotel for two nights, I also rented their Queens ballroom A for a 130 people event. Queens ballroom A: 1) The hotel is new, so the ballroom also in pretty decent condition with very new audio/screen systems. 2) Compared to other hotels ballroom in Flushing, their prices are higher but because of the ballroom conditions, I think the price was reasonable. 3) There're very very few wall power outlets in the ballroom, so I need to run long extension cords for my hot drink dispenser. 4) The person in charge of reservations was a little hard to reach out, but the hotel manager Tiffany was really helpful and friendly. Hotel room: 1) The wall is really thin, I can hear everything from next door and hallway. 2) Room was new and clean, but no room service. (Not sure if we need to request for the room service) 3) Locations: I'm not familiar with the area but all my NY friends/coworkers said the location is kind of outside. The hotel located in a more industrial area, however, walk to Flushing Main Street is about 8 minutes and walk to subway station is about 15 minutes which is ok to me. 4) I have no chance to try their gym and swimming pool, but they look nice from the pictures. read more

Good location within walking distance to subway, train, shops, and restaurants. Nice lounge in the lobby to hang out with 2 computers. Hot tea and coffee available free in lobby. The hot water does have a slight coffee smell and taste. The hot water must have served coffee in the past and not cleaned well. Nice heated pool. Could be crowded and noisy in a Saturday with screaming kids. No Diving signs all around but some kids love to jump and splash. The lifeguard does not stop them. Sundays are nice and quiet. The gym is clean and well equipped. The restaurant in the sublevel was not open at 1:30 pm on a Sunday even thought they should be open until 3 pm. All in all it was a nice staycation. I arrived at LaGuardia airport and smoothly grabbed my bag to head to the hotel. I stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton. This hotel is in Flushings, which is only a 15 min truck from the airport. To catch the shuttle, make sure to head toward the transit center and send a text of your location when you are ready to be picked up. I do not know if all hotels around operate the same, yet that is the process for the Four Points. The hotel was esthetically pleasing. Tho, the outside area may be a little questionable. The hotel amenities were standard. However, finding out about the indoor heated pool late, I was a little sad. A simple suggestion for the front desk would be education upon arrival for guests. The breakfast buffet is $17 and not worth it. The hotel is a 9-minute walk from the transit station. Would I stay at the Four Points again? Yes! Onsite is a seafood restaurant and bar. I rarely ever write negative reviews but felt my experience needed to be shared. I was initially booked for a King Room stay for 3 nights. Upon arrival, I was informed by the front desk that all the King rooms were booked and that only a Double room was available. When I asked the receptionist why the prepaid King Room wasn't available, she seemed bothered by my question and said it was out of her control. She was not helpful or accommodating in any way! And she also informed me that I would have to check the next day to see if a King Room would be available as it wasn't guaranteed. How is a pre paid room not guaranteed?? In all my years of travel I've never experienced something like this before. I was able to switch to the King room the next day but the overall experience was unpleasant. I emailed customer support and they apologized and offered me 1,000 bonus points. To the average person that might sound like a lot but in reality that equates to roughly $8. They stated since I received an upgrade, the best they could offer was 1,000 points. I replied back to explain that the King room was not an upgrade. It was already pre paid! I requested that I receive at least a 1 day complimentary stay or the equivalent in points. They apologized in a courteous manner and then offered 4,000 points more, which equates to a total of about $20! I replied back that I felt disrespected by their offer and that they would lose me as a customer. They didn't seem to care, after all I'm only a gold status member. I've never experienced customer service like this before and I'm happy to stay elsewhere. read more

I travel pretty often and this may be one of my favorite hotels ever. The room was spacious, clean, and modern; the bed was pure Heaven and it was hard to get up in the morning! The complimentary water bottles in the room were a nice touch, and the bathroom was fabulous!! I also asked where I could get a bottle of cheap champagne for mimosas, only to be lead to a fabulous wine store that is basically next to the lobby! Their staff was awesome as well. For anyone unfamiliar with NYC/Queens; I can't recommend it enough to stay here. I have visited NYC several times and this is a gem! A lot of tourists tend to go for Times Sq etc but... As stated, the room is huge and not something you'd find in Manhattan, maybe the Ritz and def not at this rate. It was quiet, even being so close to LGA, peaceful at night and just felt safe. The LIRR and subway are very close to the hotel; you can get anywhere for $7.75 or less. (That's what it cost me to take the LIRR to Penn to catch my Amtrak home.) NOW let me rave on the staff!! I started out my stay by having Rey pick me up at LGA on the hotel shuttle. I was the only guest on the shuttle at the time. He was instantly warm, friendly and kind...always appreciated by a solo female traveler. He played a bday song for me and asked what I wanted to see first. I explained that I had recently been in an accident and was just now able to eat solid food, so of course I wanted a BEC roll from a bodega!! He told me about his favorite spot (Danny's, which I ate at for every meal during my stay) and even pulled over on the way to the hotel so I could grab one. Amazing!!! Also-I'll leave another positive review for Jessica; she was helpful, friendly, and calmed me down when I was frazzled over card issues. She also gave me simple to navigate subway routes and I truly believe she helped make my visit perfect and easy. I mentioned that it was my birthday, and she and all of her colleagues made sure to call me birthday girl during my stay If that wasn't enough, I heard a knock on my door and opened it to Jessica with 2 bday balloons!!! She said "this is from us at the front desk, and Rey" This meant a lot to me, as I was clearly spending this day alone. Above and beyond doesn't even convey how amazing they were. You made my birthday, thank you so much Sheraton Flushing staff! After obtaining my baggage at LGA Terminal B (WOW - the update is great), i called the hotel shuttle and it arrived within 10 minutes to pick me up. Driver was very nice and assisted with the suitcases. Picked this hotel for tonight, while in the area of business - moving further South and East tomorrow night when the rest of my business partners arrive. 4PbS is a nice location from LGA and somewhat close to lots of oriental food options. Hotel and room was well appointed, clean and spacious. Lobby area was nicely done and a Christmas tree was being setup! Front desk folks were very nice - even inviting me to dine at the new restaurant downstairs for dinner (Dock 3366, see review). Across the parking driveway was another restaurant that looked great - perhaps tomorrow night? When I got to my room there were no wash clothes, so I asked HK down the hall for a couple - no issues ... Had to fiddle with the thermostat for a bit, wish every brand wouldn't be so different - but I figured it out. The Four Points is a new(ish), good hotel in Flushing. There are lots of restaurants and boba shops close by, and it's conveniently located by the subway and LIRR. We had an ADA accessible room which was very spacious, though I cannot comment on the size of normal rooms. The lobby was large and very welcoming with a big area for sitting and watching TV, relaxing and working (there's a long table with plugs). Breakfast is available in the restaurant on the bottom floor which is not worth $16....but it's good for free (and it was free for us with our Marriott status). The breakfast has eggs, breakfast meat (sausage, bacon), breakfast potatoes, make your own waffle, bagels and toast, muffins, yogurt, fruit salad and juice and coffee; a pretty standard Marriott breakfast but definitely convenient. read more

We booked a night staycation to enjoy Flushing, a food haven where one can savor delicacies and cuisine from China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Taiwan..all in one place! Location wise, the hotel is a few mins walk away from all the restaurants, bars, karaoke parlor, markets, food halls, shopping mall. Interior wise the building is very new, rooms clean and very comfy with gym and an indoor heated pool (shout out to Jen the life guard at the pool - professional and friendly. Front desk was welcoming and all in great value! If I could put in one suggestion for improvement, it is to extend your weekday pool hours earlier, the current 3pm-9pm is rather off for guests who want to enjoy a morning, lunch or early afternoon swim. read more

By far the most disappointing thing was that the restaurant was closed for remodeling. We chose this hotel because we were coming in late and wanted to eat at the hotel. Nothing on their website indicated that the restaurant was closed. Considering that we went further from the airport, and spent more, because of the advertised restaurant, we were very disappointed and felt scammed. They are also pretty small rooms. And an elevator was broken. And only decaf in the room. And no breakfast as advertised. And tons of mold in common spaces. Maybe the worst part is the bathroom door, "barn door" style, does not meet the door jam! There is a 1.5 inch gap, which makes for very little privacy if you are sharing a room. read more

Worst worst worst parking experience I have ever encountered. Not sure how Marriott is allowing su h a shady operation to take take place on its property. We confirmed all charges and timings prior to leaving our car with the dull balance paid in advance. Upon pick up we were charged extra undisclosed fees. When asked why or for any type of policy explaining why we are being charged, we were just told the policy isn't available right now and we cannot have our car unless we paid this arbitrary additional fee. It was 1am and I had a crying 2 year old with me with zero explanation from the company. It felt like extortion since they wouldn't give me my car unless I paid the fee and refused to give me any manager information or any contact information for someone I could speak to about it. As nice as the property is, the parking situation is awful and the third party that manages is not representing of the Marriott experience I normally enjoy. read more

Stayed at this hotel when it was fairly new and was impressed with the level of customer service, friendliness of the front desk, and seamless check-in experience which was done on my phone. It's not far from tons of Asian spots to eat and drink, which is great including some late-night Korean BBQ options. Sheraton Four Points is usually safe bet for a great hotel no matter where you travel. My bed was comfortable, showed impeccable, and just an overall great experience. I picked this place mostly because it had an airport shuttle. Calling for the shuttle is not the most convenient. You have to call the main hotel number for instructions on what to do and then text a number. When you're on your phone calling, it's not easy to write down the text number. Anyway, figured that out, but I thought there was kind of a long wait for the shuttle. And the shuttle driver didn't help me with my bags at all. The hotel itself was nice, but arrived around 10 pm and the restaurant was closed. I left early the next morning, so didn't experience the hotel besides my room. . read more

Our room was clean and modern with a lovely view of some dilapidated stores across the street. The hotel has a small lobby with several seating areas; however, the restaurant was closed for renovation which sucked. Parking is done by valet & cost $30 for one night. Not sure I would stay again as I did not care for the outside of the location and I wish the hotel had some kind of an outdoor seating area. read more

Typically run of the mill 3 star hotel. You get the lady's attention at the front desk. She doesn't attend to you. The nice gentleman that took over her shift for the PM will pull down his mask to speak to you. My girlfriend and I are vaxed and boosted. Wasn't worried about him being maskless for 6 seconds. My question though - what's the point? We didn't lose sleep over that though. Doors are rock heavy and close on their own momentum. Sounds like a a brick being chucked at the door as if to break it down. How that didn't bother our neighbors next to us is beyond me. Dude opens the door as wide as possible, walked straight through it and let it close behind him. I thought a bomb went off. Bathrooms were clean. Comfy shower. Incredible smears on the window (from the outside) It was a one night stay for us as we were passing through Flushing, but being able to see out our window would've been nice. Elevators were oddly slow at this joint. Not sure if it's a Flushing thing or just a four points thing. Maybe I'm spoiled being from Boston? I'd call an elevator to the 4th floor to take it down to the bottom floor I swear it took a solid 7 minutes. Laundry and the decent pricing was nice! Our bed sheets were made of some weird polyester kind material. The bed itself was comfortable. But when the multiple sheets are rubbing against each other, there's just this unpleasant rustling sound. Like a bunch of plastic bags being shoved into a bottle. I'm probably not doing the explanation justice. As a person who uses the restroom multiple times a night, I had the added worry of waking up my girlfriend with these sheets. I suppose to his their own. But whomever designed this place, missed the mark on the sheets. Conveniently located close to Chinatown and a numerous selection of Asian restaurants! Some good and some bad. If there's better in Flushing, we might try that next visit. read more

Central location in Flushing and minutes everything - restaurants, shops and MTA. Staff was great and greeted us nicely every time we pass by and checked in on us at the lobby if we needed anything, which was spacious and comfortable with free coffee. We arrived one evening with some Japanese desserts to share with our friends at the large lobby table and the staff were kind to provide utensils. The two-door entrance could be more accommodating by having both doors open on the same side instead of one sliding open on the right and the other on the left. It's just an inefficient ingress and egress through the building. They have a 24/7 gym (and likely pool) and conference rooms which was a nice accommodation. Although the bed was comfortable, the pillows could have been a better quality with more firmness as they were too soft and either required it to be folded over or another pillow to sleep more comfortably. Construction was outside so if you're a light sleeper, you'd awaken to the sound of machines. A mixed bag of good things and others for improvement for the quality of the experience. read more

First of all I am a Marriot Bonvoy member with supposedly higher quality internet connection which was slower than my local library, very frustrating. Secondly, "complimentary" or free breakfast shouldn't cost almost 50 dollars. 1 King bedroom is $169 but with "free breakfast " the room price jumps to $214? what? And you need some voucher which I didnt have and had to wait in line at front desk to receive. Basically your standard continental breakfast buffet at any hotel except the eggs here are dry and flavorless, they don't offer any vegan proteins, and the omelette was way over cooked and obviously dry. And when I was leaving, I had to wait over 2 hours for the shuttle bus. I could have walked and saved time. The view and area here is not very appealing as well. Looks like a run down shantytown. All in all not at all impressed for a Marriot "brand new" hotel. read more
