One of the best workouts to ever come along! Not sure how I slept on this knowing all the amazing benefits of inferred. If you don't know about the benefits of infrared then let me list just a few: reduction in inflammation, muscle and joint pain recovery, you burn twice as many caloric calories than traditional cardio. Not to mention it's great for your skin. The staff is super knowledgeable, courteous and engaging. It's open 24 hours a day 247 period. You will be given a special code to enter. I haven't used the facilities in over a year due to pregnancy and moving out of the area. I've tried canceling my membership a handful of times but I'm being told I need to come in to cancel my membership (this has presented a challenge as I have 2 kiddos under 2 so I have little time to make the drive to cancel). Love this place so much!! So worth it and they don't even hold you to a year commitment unlike gyms! I sweat so much and because of its heat and infrared system they have, it doesn't require for much time to be spent here! Which I feel is the most dreadful part of going to the gym, the amount of time exercising takes. Think really hard before you sign the contract. It's difficult to cancel. I was super excited to come here, but it just wasn't for me. I wished the workout videos changed more frequently. I found myself never going. Then, when I tried to cancel, they charged me 2 months membership. (And I couldn't continue to go those 2 months!) I could see giving a months notice, but most places you are still allowed to go since you paid... it's great if you go, but if you don't, it's costly.... read more

I no longer use this gym bc of changes made in my location and career. I have requested cancellation several times and they ignore it and keep charging my card.... they have bled my recreation account and have racked up hundreds of dollars in overdraft fees... I finally had to close that account. AND THEY HAVE STILL YET TO LET ME CANCEL, TELLING ME I OWE THEM FOR ALL THESE MONTHS THAT ACCUMULATED AFTER I HAVE REQUEST CANCELLATION.... They can check my check in's and the last time I have checked in has been over a year ago!!! Knowing I havent come in for over a year!! I had a bad start, the person in charge was like 30 minutes late even though they scheduled me at 11am and said it was due to traffic which I call bs on. I had a good workout but I didn't love it. I still prefer an instructor but I like the idea of sauna and working out because you're sweating a lot. They were helpful initially but afterwards the owner was super pushy with membership when I said I'm going to try another studio before deciding and will reach out if I decide to. I didn't appreciate the pushiness at all. It made me not want to join at all. Also he said membership was month to month but when you join your locked it for at least 3months which is not month to month so I don't know what the f that's about. read more

I really don't get these bad reviews! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place and April the owner. She is always happy and positive. I am an original member (signed up in December) and since then I have been coming here pretty much everyday. I love the infrared heat and workout. My skin looks much better and no more body aches. Don't even bother signing up for the free session... If you don't book it right away, they don't stop texting you and when you say let me get back to you they text you in all caps yelling at you then you call and the front desk person says that they won't give you their name or the managers name that they're busy and that everyone there has the name of Ms. Hot works... I called back 10 seconds later the manager was all of a sudden free even though he said on the phone that he was in the back and I said that was 10 seconds ago you clearly heard the conversation... He admitted that he did and admitted that he lied and that he had the front desk person lie as well... This is before I even went in to talk to them... Good luck with this place!!! This is how they treat people who haven't even gone in there yet, so imagine how they treat you if they already have your money, what a joke! Additionally, I used to be a personal trainer over 15 years ago in West Hollywood at a very high end gym before the market crashed and I know all the tactics so I know what they're doing and this is even worse treatment than sales pressure... To allow the front desk to flat out lie and to not give you their names shows they are up to something extremely dishonest... Avoid at all costs!! UPDATE AT 10:30 PM!!! I was woken up by two unidentified phone number missed calls than a text asking "is this my mommy?" I called the number back and it was the Hot works person and then he claimed that his son got a hold of his phone... Really?! Did he get a hold of it when he called me twice before from an unidentified number?! This is now a major invasion of privacy and so wildly inappropriate that if anyone else has any other experiences like this from this place, let me know and let's get together about it because to call someone at 10:30 at night and then text them with a creepy text to force them to call you back is so wildly inappropriate I'm taking action. read more

I joined about a month ago and I'm absolutely obsessed! This location is always nice and clean. I feel safe going late at night and the owners always (when I see them) are so nice. I go late so I don't see staff much (which is okay for me!) but when I do go earlier than usual they are always nice and answer any questions I have. This review is based off trying to inquire about memberships and any multiple discounts. I tried to reach out on social media, and at first was ignored. I reached out again a couple days later, and instead of receiving a greeting of excitement for my interest, or even answer all my questions (asked about the workout method and videos) the conversation was flat, straight to the point, and no follow up, basically like "we don't care if you join or not" didn't even ask if I wanted a free day trial or anything. I was considering signing my boyfriend and I up, as our free time fluctuates and having 24 access would be awesome, but I was turned off by the customer service alone. I am a sucker for good customer service, as I have been in it for over a decade. I gave two stars cause I'm sure this place has great stuff. I cancelled my membership and spoke with someone 2x and was told they will cancel and refund me but none of those were done. They continued to charge me every month and when I called again and ask for refund for those charges, the owner was rude and refused to credit me. She was very unapologetic and greedy. Do not get a membership here and don't sign anything unless you're 100% committed to working out here for the rest of your life. I went one time, it wasn't for me and went back in to cancel but was not able to since I signed the "agreement". They told me they'd "freeze" my account and that I'd only be charged $9 instead of $74 monthly for the last three months and I have still been getting charged the $74 without noticing until just recently. I tried to call to get my money back but all they sent me was an email showing me proof that I went in and froze my account. No refund, even though they just sent me proof that I did freeze my account? And the person I talked to on the phone hung up on me without giving me any information on the refund or when I would receive it. And now they're saying my membership won't be cancelled until JULY. When I joined in JANUARY and only went to ONE CLASS. This is a trap and a total waste of my money. Not happy with this experience what so ever. And apparently it won't be over for another 3 months! Not professional when it comes to their cancellation. I have yet to receive an email confirmation for my cancellation since NOVEMBER and I am still getting charged. The only way I am able to communicate to them is through text and yet nothing is happening. I was patient enough since I purchased the membership back in March and due to obvious pandemic circumstances the opening was delayed. And continued to be patient until I had to move to Northern California. And I am still have to deal with this. I have multiple times as well. They are only reachable through texting, which is where I keep getting someone to talk to me. Their last message to me seems passive aggressive and are oblivious to what is going on every time I bring it up. Obviously they don't keep track of what's going on. Im addicted to working out here. I look forward to it and I dread going to a regular gym. This place is the best workout I've ever had! Not only working out on the bike or row but also doing yoga, Pilates, isometrics, barre, bands and bun workouts but in an infared sauna which gives you more calorie burn and just makes you feel amazing and peaceful after the workout. I came across an ad for Hotworx by chance and I am so glad I did! April and Amanda answered all my questions and were very patient and kind. I am obsessed with being able to choose a different workout everyday and I am able to select a time that works for me. The saunas are amazing, the weights and all equipment are in great shape, everything is kept clean and they have necessities like electrolytes and towels on site if you forget them. I am so happy with Hotworx and how I feel after leaving there. I would definitely recommend anyone trying it out at least once, you will not regret it! read more
