However, I'm obsessed with how they fold my laundry! It's not like at other places. They keep my colors folder with similar colors and coordinate it all. They charge extra for fabric softener, bleach, and the other normal extras I suppose. Also, Love love love the 1 Day turnaround! My laundry is always done way earlier than expected. It's done in house and they are so timely which is really important to me :-)

I took…read moremy white J Crew peacoat (which I had stupidly tossed in the wash because it accumulated a few stains since I bought it) to that other cleaner but they told me it would be near impossible to clean and fix the now misshapen coat. So I left and randomly walked into Top Dry Cleaners next door, figuring I'd give the coat another shot. The friendly guy at the counter quickly marked the stains and was like "Yup, it'll be ready in two days. Oh by the way, we deliver and pick up from the lobby of your apartment." So convenient. They also took in a Helmut Lang sweater that was too big even though he said it might be hard because it's a knitted sweater. And they tailored a large vintage velvet coat BEAUTIFULLY and for a great price. Hemming more than 2 feet of fabric and lining, waist nipping, shoulder pad removal+alteration, button resewing, hole patching, AND dry cleaning for $130. To put this into context, when I took this coat to a nearby specialty tailor and asked for nothing other than alterations of the shoulder pads, the guy shooed me out with one look at the coat, saying "This will be TOO EXPENSIVE (his exact words) you won't be able to afford it"! (He was friendly about it and I appreciated the honesty.) I did take a few cashmere sweaters here with holes and the repairs weren't seamless, so I wouldn't do that again. But what did I expect for $3/hole? I'm just glad the sweaters are wearable again for now before I take them to AlterKnit or some other expensive but specialty hole-repair service.

According to UPS's website, the definition of an UPS Access Point is as follows; A UPS Access Point™ is a participating retail outlet, such as a grocery store or petrol station that serves as a convenient and efficient UPS parcel delivery and retrieval location. You can also drop off labelled and prepaid UPS Returns®parcels at any UPS Access Point location. The Korean gentleman that assisted me just told me to leave my package at a certain spot and did not scan my package. When I asked him why he doesn't scan the package he reluctantly said, "there is no fee for the scan but tip is appreciated." He then took the scanner and scanned my package and expected me to tip him for doing his job. I believe tipping is a voluntary practice and a customer should not be told to tip an individual especially when that individual did not provide adequate service. By signing your business up to be a UPS Access Point, that means this is a service you chose to provide the people in the neighborhood with. His behavior makes me wonder if he would "accidentally" lose my package since I had not provided him with a tip. And had I been a customer of their dry cleaning services, is tipping an unspoken expectation to ensure you get your clothes cleaned properly? This gentlemen left such a poor experience in my books that I would not consider doing any business with this retailer in the future.

Sleeves were too long and they "burned" impressions on the front of the jacket where the inside pockets were located. The owner was rude and could have cared less. I insisted they try and tailor it, so they did. And what came back was ever WORSE than before. One of the worse tailoring jobs I have ever seen. So if you have luxury brand clothes, do NOT bring them here to be cleaned as you will never be able to wear them again! Bobby
