Victor's Cleaners has been my go-to for the past 2 years! I live in the Upper East Side but make the extra effort to travel to the area because of how much I trust everyone there. I've used this place a handful of times and they were quite friendly and did a great job. However, I recently had an incident where they lost my suit pants in a delivery and were very short and unhelpful with me when I attempted to reach back out to find them. This place is great until there is an issue and then they are completely unhelpful to loyal customers. I will be avoiding this business in the future. read more

The shop is now under new management and the whole staff is super friendly. Everyone was very approachable and extremely helpful. The front desk employee was pleasant to work with. Dropped off a suit to get tailored and everything went very smoothly. The tailor was fantastic and the work done was high quality. They do great work but their dry cleaning is very expensive. $7.25 for a men's dress shirt is pretty steep.

Needed to get a suit dry cleaned as fast as possible and I saw this as I was walking by, their services are great albeit a little on the expensive side, but it was all worth it when their dry cleaning was fast, quick, and easy. I would not do business with these guys. They failed to deliver my pants which were over $300 and had nothing signed saying it was delivered. The rest of the laundry was delivered and mentioned on the receipt but not the pants. They blamed my building for taking them. Other neighbors had warned me. They wIll NOT REIMBURSE YOU. read more

Fast, reliable, not super cheap. Will deliver if you live nearby. Have taken many pieces here and they have been cleaned well. They can accept suede or leather as well and send it to be cleaned through another vendor. read more

I chose this dry cleaner's because after surveying the other few options closest to my apt. they had the best customer service. Prices are pretty much equal across the board, so for me friendly, attentive service and a clean, open store front win. But what caused me to write this review was that they just saved my favorite black shirt dress from a giant gray stain that was obtained by leaning against some mystery substance - we think maybe paint - on the streets of New York. I had already let down my hopes of ever wearing it again but the kind lady at the desk said they could try. They did and it worked! Happy customer and will return. read more

These guys are really nice, they have my cleaning ready when they say. I've had them hem somethings before and they do it well. Delivery is fast. I have noticed that they don't replace buttons on blouses when they break unless specifically asked. I wish they could just to that for me. Anyway other than that I think they take good care of my clothes. read more

This was a great place when the former family owners ran things. The new folks are nice enough but they've lost a LOT of our clothing!! My 2 best coats disappeared for nearly a year. I kept asking for them but they said they weren't there. Then miraculously, they appeared. Same with two of my husband's jackets. They said they didn't have them. Then a year later, after he had replaced them, they appeared. But then they lost ALL his winter scarves; cashmere, extra-long, presents, everything. This place couldn't have been more convenient for us however they don't do the cleaning on the premises. Better to go a couple blocks further to a place that's better organized and where the cleaning is done on premises. read more

Everyone at the shop was AMAZING. I have not used the cleaning service but was recommended to use them as a tailor to get the zipper of my jeans fixed. I told them I needed it same day because I was going out of town and they made it happen without a crazy price. They did a great job and my jeans are as good as new. I would 10/10 go back. read more

They are fast, clean, efficient and you can run to them in a bind to get a suit pressed because they do it on the premises as opposed to most other cleaners that send things out to get pressed. They also provided a snap button for my jacket at the cost of $10 when other places wanted triple that amount. read more

They lost 3 of my shirts and when they told me they would review the video tape from 3 surveillance cameras there they said they did not see me entering the store. This after the employee told me 2 days before they remember me since I've been going there for 10 years. I finished a weekend of black tie work and dropped off my 3 white shirts - poof gone now! read more

They charged me $100.00 for dry cleaning that wasn't mine, and told me it would take 3 days to refund me. They took my money immediately, but it would take 3 days for my bank account to be refunded. And the worst part is that this has happened before with them. If you take someone's money by mistake, you give it back immediately! read more

Do not use this cleaners. I dropped off a navy suit, and later realized that they had switched the pants and I wound up with a navy jacket and someone else's black pants (I don't even own black pants). I gave them nearly a month to find the missing navy pants, to no avail. To make matters more infuriating, every time I dropped by to ask if they'd had any luck locating the missing pants, the guy behind the counter told me that the owner was going to call me. I'm still waiting for that call... This is highly unprofessional. I've used this cleaners for about six months. Several times my shirts were poorly ironed and had to be redone, but this is excusable. The loss of half of a suit, and the lack of responsiveness in finding it or offering to at least partially pay for the cost of replacing the suit, was inexcusable. To add insult to injury, they charged me for the cleaning of the jacket of my unwearable suit when I finally gave up waiting for the pants to be found! Avoid this place like the plague. read more
