I've used them for a long time. They provide consistent service, done on time, and they deliver to my building.

Hermes Jacket taken to be dry cleaned. They RUINED the jacket by pressing it so hard it stretched the fabric to the point the jacket no longer fit. Sleeves were too long and they "burned" impressions on the front of the jacket where the inside pockets were located. The owner was rude and could have cared less. I insisted they try and tailor it, so they did. And what came back was ever WORSE than before. One of the worse tailoring jobs I have ever seen. So if you have luxury brand clothes, do NOT bring them here to be cleaned as you will never be able to wear them again! Bobby read more

We've been using this place for six months and they seem pretty good, at least relative to the other options in the area. They're not perfect -- we think they've lost a shirt and a couple socks, and they have a pretty harsh process that's tough in fragile clothes, but it doesn't seem like you can get better service elsewhere unless you do your laundry yourself. And if you're reading this review, there's a good chance you don't have in-unit or even in-building access to laundry. read more

This is a friendly pop mom store. I'm satisfied with their warmth greeting each time as soon as I entering. Not only their service is excellent but also the tailor job they've done for me were amazing. Recently I asked to change the lining of a leather jacket, it came back with a brand new one that I thought they handed to wrong person actually it was the one that I brought in. I started going to this cleaners because I moved into the neighborhood and they claim to be organic, but I'm not even sure about that. I thought they were good until they completely ruined an expensive Trina Turk velvet top that came back looking like a wet rat with balding spots. I've asked them twice now to try and fix it. I haven't used Rainbow in over three months since I've moved, but I sure miss having them on my block! I can't comment on drop off and delivery, since I only used it once about four years ago. The two guys who run this place are standup. Danny is very personable and always remembers your name and your cleaning tendencies (quick turnaround, etc). They will churn out dry cleaning in a pinch and are affordable. Never once did they lose anything in my five years of using them, and I was dropping off clothing once or twice a week during that five years. They always managed to get out stains no matter how stubborn, and even would let me know their concerns will handling certain types of fabrics, etc. They have good pricing on their dry cleaning. I came in to ask the older man behind the counter if he could alter a dress and ask a quote. He sneered at me and waved me away. I was curious as to how he'd treat the (Caucasian) woman directly behind me. As I was leaving the store I noticed he was not only super nice to her, but apologized to her, as if answering my question was a waste of her time as well as his. I have lost items in my laundry there. They do not take responsibility for lost items. I lost an entire half of my laundry. When I returned what was not mine, I never got back what I'd lost, and they took no responsibility for it. Just a shoulder shrug. What they launder is okay, but they are careless at putting things into the laundry machines and they add different customers' laundry together to wash. read more

This place is a great neighborhood convenience, super easy to use since I live right next it on the block. Danny and David are the fraternal owner/operators, and they maintain a hands-on touch for the business. Haven't used them for tailoring but they're great for dry cleaning. Good hours compared to some other places, everything comes back very clean, and they always get the stains out. I think the pricing is pretty reasonable - cashmere sweaters are $8 I think and shirts are around $6-7. Blazer was only $10 or $12 (I honestly can't remember but remember thinking it was cheaper than I thought it would be). Compared to other dry cleaners in the area, I find their prices pretty affordable. In addition, the guy who usually runs the shop here is so incredibly nice and accommodating, as well as being very quick and efficient. read more

Nice that they do same-day wash and "fold"; however, my clothes are always returned folded --but inside out! I know that seems petty but when you are paying $1.25/lb for wash and fold services, this is annoying because I end up having to unfold them, turn right-side in, and then refold.
