    Iced Lavender Latte

I really liked this place! It was very cozy and inviting and for some reason felt very homey. The barista was on her own but did such a great job even with having a line going! I really enjoyed my coffee and I love the ice they use!

I ordered an iced latte and the espresso itself was extremely burnt tasting and nasty. I tried drinking it and it was so gross. Would not recommend

I hadn't tried this Houndstooth location yet, and I'm pleased to report that my visit was delightful. The building is in an interesting divided space - you can order on one side, walk to an outdoor patio, and then there's a second storefront with seating. The baristas here were so thoughtful and kind! I purchased a bag of "Tweed" roasted coffee beans - they asked if I needed the beans ground, and comped us a large hot coffee. I ordered a hot cocoa for my kiddo and they smartly added a little cool milk so it wasn't piping hot. The chocolate glazed donuts were sweet with a heavy dose of cinnamon. I ordered a flat white which was creamy and pleasantly bitter. The weather was nice, so we nabbed a picnic table on the patio. The red yucca was in bloom and we enjoyed people watching, lots of folks were making their way to yoga and rock climbing classes next door. There must be a dog park nearby - Houndstooth had water bowls for dogs set out on the patio.

iced americano and iced oat milk latte

My husband and I ordered the iced americano and iced oat milk latte. They did not pull fresh shots, so maybe that's why the coffee tasted sour and not fresh. Very mid coffee. Would not come back.

One of the Best coffees I have had. Iced Vanilla Oat Milk Coffee was $7.38. No price postings anywhere that I saw . I was not really paying attention to them make it but my sister described it as they kinda just swirled the syrup and everything and gave it to us, which made sense since the bottom was more sweet then the top. It came out too fast... for my liking. Again, it was an amazing drink, just tiny and way over priced and not being open about their pricing.

Went to this place on a Saturday morning and ordered an iced vanilla latte for myself and iced matcha latte with honey. The drinks were decent but not the best I ever had. The staff was quick, attentive & friendly. I do wish they had just a few more flavor/sweetener options but I will be back to try it again!

Very Good Vanilla Latte. Fantastic service. Nice work/study atmosphere. Energizing pulsating music. Backless tall chairs to counter seating. Otherwise, low cold chairs for quick visits. Will come again for a to-go latte when in area next. CHEERS!

North Dallas seems to have a bit of a coffee desert. While in uptown and downtown, independent coffeeshops are fairly ubiquitous, you really can only find Starbucks and the Whole Foods Allegro coffee anywhere north of uptown until you get into central Plano. The addition of a Houndstooth location to the area, an independent coffeeshop based in Austin with locations around Dallas, is a huge reprieve. Serving coffee and espresso using TWEED coffee beans and Moreish donuts along with other pastries, Houndstooth has it all. This location is in a wooden "treehouse" structure, in two rooms just off the northbound US-75 frontage road (northeast corner 75 and walnut hill). One room is the coffee bar and some bar-style seating options, while the other, quieter, room has built in desks for the laptop-ers. Decently priced, and with all the alternative milks you'd expect, definitely make this your coffee stop in North Dallas.

Ordered cold brew w/ oat milk, went into the trash after 1 sip

We came to this place on a Saturday morning after living nearby for over a year. With the great reviews, we decided we had to try it so decided to stop by around 10am. To be honest, I don't understand the reviews. The staff was friendly however everything after that was awful. We paid $9 something for 2 cold brew coffees that came out of a jug in the fridge looking like iced tea. Then, 1/3 of the cup was ice. I got mine with oat milk which I'm not sure made any difference at all. Maybe it's on me for the way I ordered but regardless, I can get much better coffee for the same price a few shops down at Civil Pour. We're glad we tried it just to know, but the coffee went into the trash after 1 sip and was a waste. Unfortunately I don't think we will ever try again.

Calm and peaceful vibes, coffee is 9/10 for me

Barista was rude. Coffee was overpriced, lacked creativity, and overall subpar. They don't carry coconut milk.

Located off Inwood in North Dallas, La La Land provides an escape for those looking to be transported to the west coast. My Overall Rating - 2 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food) Atmosphere - Inside of La La Land is very bright and yellow. As you enter, your eyes will be drawn to the front where stacks of cups act as a wall to let the baristas craft your drink. Outside, there's an outdoor seating area with a white picket fence that acts like a barrier between you and the city. The patrons consist of a good mix of students, moms with little children, and ladies who lunch. This may or may not be your kind of vibe. It wasn't mine. 1/2 Star. Service - The staff was very cheery and happy. They were patient with me as I looked at the menu and even suggested what to order. They even cleaned up after me when I stepped out to take a personal phone call. Great experience. 1 Star. Food - The coffee is a sweet (and expensive). I tried the barista recommended Banana Cloud Latte. The fresh banana and cinnamon work well together. That said, it was a little too sweet for my preference, and the price makes it more of an occasional treat than a regular order. La La Land does a great job with the packaging, and it truly seems like it was made for Instagram. 1/2 Star. Will I Return? - No. I'm not the target demographic for La La Land. I'd rather drink a latte at the other popular chain or visit a mom-and-pop coffee shop. I'll leave La La Land for the patrons that live in the area. No Stars.
