Since I happened to be in Dallas early in the morning, this was the perfect stop as they open early. The decor inside looked super cute, but I was in a rush to get to work, so I used the drive thru instead. They have a private parking lot. Besides having coffee and tea, they also sell breakfast all day. I had the sausage, egg, green chile, and cheese burrito - not the best burrito I've ever had, but tastes way better if you add the salsa. It's a quick way to get your protein fix in. I enjoyed my iced Mexican mocha; it wasn't too sweet or creamy. If I lived closer by, I wouldn't mind getting this more routinely. Oh, their service was surprisingly fast and efficient. This coffee was really good! I got the iced caramel truffle with sweet cold foam on top and it was good! Not to sweet and not to strong! They do a free coffee for your birthday through the app too which is the best!! Especially since they don't make you redeem it the day of! The inside is nice, my one critique is that the mobile order pick up is at the same place at the register so if your picking up a mobile order the baristas don't realize you aren't in line to order. I don't like to be that person that shoves in front of others so I waited it out until there was a good opening but it could be more efficient if it's in another location :) The inside is nice and clean with lots of space! I daw this new place pop up so I had to stop by and check it out, I opted for the caramel blondie chiller it was to my surprise really good! Not super sweet not too much coffee it was a great mix altogether. During my visit, I went through the drive thru and ordered a large iced caramel blondie. Their Caramel Blondie is one of their signature drinks and it has a sweet and creamy deliciousness taste. Customer Service The young lady taking my order was patient and kind and she informed me that this location has only been open for about two weeks. Everything is brand-new and it is very inviting. During this visit, I did not go inside but it looked cozy and clean from the drive thru window. First time at a Black Rock Coffee, but I've seen them around town. In a way, it reminds me of Starbucks.. they even have their own version of "frappucinos". The price point seemed similar too. $5 ish for a matcha chiller (their version of a frappe). No complaints... tried the mango smoothie too, which was ok. I've tried the Costco mango smoothie and I think Black Rock's mango taste isn't as strong, which is a good thing. I don't think I would order a mango smoothie myself though. Let me start off by saying the drinks are good, I have came 5x in total, throughout the day. The reason why I am giving them a 2 star is because 90% of the employees have attitudes. They definitely don't give you that welcome vibe that you want from them. If you forget something they give you a snobby look. However, I gave Black Rock Coffee Bar and try and it was AMAZING! I simply ordered the Americano - and it was delicious: full-bodied, bold, rich and yet smooth.
