The coffee and tea are great here, and the ambiance is really nice. If you're meeting up with some friends here, you'll be happy. On the other hand, the WiFi here is absolutely abysmal--it's flaky as hell, and I kept getting disconnected. So if you might be hoping to get any work done here, you're better off going somewhere else. Neat little coffee house. Open and spacious. Staff is very friendly and service is prompt. Coffee is ok, not the best, but ok. I guess my only negative, and the reason I gave 3 stars instead of 4 is, the lack of work space. In one building they have some bar style seating w/ not much of a bar to have your computer open. They do have a couple of tables outside, but bad weather (or hot/humid Dallas weather) would make that not desirable. And the other building has bench seating against the wall w/ old school desk like block spaced every few feet. These "blocks" are only about 6"x12". The coffee here is legit. Really exceeded my expectations. Two vanilla lattes; one with oat milk, were great. Their espresso and vanilla they use work well together and makes the drink really enjoyable. Only downside is the price. Located conveniently right off of the interstate with access from the feeder road and behind from the main parkway my lot for the shopping center. You can literally pull out of the parking lot and the access ramp is right there for heading North on 75. The location is clean, new, and very modern. There is a dog friendly section to the layout as well. The coffee, espresso, and cold brew are excellent. One of the best espresso bars in the immediate area. Great location for grabbing a midday drink after lunch with numerous restaurants in the shopping center. read more

Insanely grossly overpriced average coffee. They have the most expensive coffee and batch brew in particular I have ever seen that makes LA, NYC, and Chicago specialty coffee prices seem like bargain basement discount deals. $5+ for a 12 oz batch brew coffee? So far well beyond insane. The espresso and coffee is very average and espresso is rarely if ever pulled very well. Typically not dialed in at all and over extracted. The space is very odd and not conducive to working in on your laptop or as a meeting spot. The tables and counters are so awkward and poorly sized. They have two completely disconnected tiny little buildings one with the coffee bar and one little building thats like a cell block. Great if its pouring down rain you can dash into one building to get your coffee only to go back out into the rain to dash into the cell block building to sit. Hopefully you won't need to use the restroom as you'll have to dash back in the rain to ask the baristas. Very very odd location, non-functional horrible building and space design fit for some idiotic "concept" vs reality and function, and grossly overpriced sub-par average coffee. Give this place a miss and get starbucks for a fraction of the price with the same if not better quality. read more

The simple, clean aesthetic of this joint is just what the doctor ordered. It's the kind of space where you can come enjoy a quality coffee offering, then move on with your life. I think the seating is just uncomfortable enough to keep the mobile office crowd from setting up camp for too long. The baristas care about the coffee they are serving and the end product shows it. The cortado is tops, and typically the special/single-origin offerings are worth it. This would be a 5-Star establishment with a slow bar/pour-over offering. read more

Good coffee, but a literal waste of space. The architecture is ridiculously inefficient, with two separate buildings connected by a fence and a sea of pavement in between. One building has the coffee bar and has walls lined with very thin bars and stools, with a huge open space in the middle with no tables or seating. The second building was too cold, and has walls lined with a bench and hilariously tiny little tables attached to them, and some unattached chairs floating around. This building also has an open space in the middle with no tables. So what the heck are they going for? It's clearly hostile to people who want to hang out and work on their laptops - the tiny tables are literally smaller than a laptop, and the bars in the main building are very thin. But it's also hostile to people who want to just meet up and chat with their friends. You couldn't fit two drinks and two pastries on those things. read more

We had high hopes for this coffee shop. We were looking for a place to relax over some great coffee. We found it on Yelp and gave it a try. They do have great coffee (rather pricey) but it must be primarily a place for "to go' coffee as their separate seating area is stark and sterile with hard benches and only a few metal chairs. No music playing, bad acoustics with an echo, not a good place to visit with a companion as whatever you say is echoed around the room. That's just a given. Also, the interior of this place is very cold and sterile; somewhere between an operating room at a fancy hospital, and a very nice, large, clean bathroom at a nice hotel. It is not warm or comfortable at all. The drinks are very expensive. I just left without even buying anything. There's too many better options available in Dallas. I really don't know how they plan on making money. The value is just not there at all. Maybe they're banking on just the name "Houndstooth"? But the name will only get you so far. Interesting concept and layout and I appreciate the bold effort in terms of its LEED-like architecture. This location consists of two buildings: one with the coffee bar and a separate "outhouse" for additional seating/tables. Unfortunately, was disappointed with the atmosphere. This could be a good place to have a quick chat with friends over coffee but does not offer amenities required for a reading/study session that I look for in a coffee shop. First of all, the "tables" here are the smallest I have ever seen. Size of an 8.5x11 sheet of paper. Second, sitting areas are limited (probably only accommodates about 10 persons in the outhouse). Restroom use requires checking in with coffee bar staff. The coffee itself was good quality, though pricey. Overall, I chose give this place an average rating based on my gestalt of coffee shops (more cozy/spacious/study spaces) but I do understand this place can be appealing for other reasons. read more

We both got cold brew coffees and were so confused because it looks like they brewed weak Ice tea and served it to us. That's also what it tasted like. They only had three flavors, Vanilla, chocolate and honey I think. We could t taste anything. Watered down coffee, 11$ in watered down coffee and no food. Wouldn't recommend. read more

My first time here and I think the place is super simple and hipster modern. The place has two separate buildings (one area just for sitting and for ordering coffee and sitting). The menu is also very simple and short. This seating area is super open and it lacks privacy... so it wouldn't be ideal for large groups of people. I also wouldn't stay here for hours at a time because the seats are hard and a bit uncomfortable so not ideal for studying in my opinion. The baristas were nice and pretty chilled which is good. The drinks are overpriced for what it is. I ordered the hot chocolate with almond milk but it tasted more like almond milk with a slight taste of hot chocolate mix. read more
