THIS. PLACE. IS. AMAZING! Upon entrance, we were greeted warmly by the staff and new management. The food was generous and delicious, our party of 4 scraped the plates clean. Hard not to lick off what's left. If you're looking for a brunch place in Sneads Ferry, look no further. Quality food and staff with bottomless coffee! Thank you Cherie for adding to our experience. You can bring the whole family too, as their patio is dog friendly and well shaded. Will be back here, for sure.

If you get the French Toast, this place is a 5/5 every time. The service is a 5/5 every time. No wait, friendly to locals (I'm a local), welcoming to visitors. Generosity of portions, 5/5. This place is what a breakfast diner should be. Soooooo glad they're under new management!!

Pulled up to a spot in Sneads Ferry that's clearly got things figured out--plenty of parking and a layout that feels like a two-for-one treat. On the left, you've got the main dining space with booths, tables, and a warm, welcoming vibe. On the right? A connected ice cream and candy shop with boba teas, smoothies, and a whole lineup of sweet surprises. They've even got a couple of outdoor tables, which gives strong dog-friendly vibes--always a plus. Inside, the staff couldn't be friendlier. What really stood out was the chef making rounds, checking in with guests--not something you see every day, and it speaks volumes. Proud chefs make better food, and everything I saw coming out of that kitchen backed it up: beautiful plates, quick service, and care in the details. I built my own omelet, and it was cooked exactly the way I wanted it--no notes, just perfect. The home fries looked killer: golden, crisp, and maybe just kissed by the fryer. I didn't indulge (low carb life), but they looked hard to resist. Their menu covers the full breakfast spectrum and more--there's a fruit plate, lunch options, and enough variety to keep anyone happy. Just don't wait too late--they wrap up service between 2 and 3 p.m. Bonus points for the local flair: mugs, coffee cups, and a few other items for sale. Under new ownership as of May 2025, and honestly, they're off to a fantastic start.

Like most people who have left a review within the last year, I would have rated this place a two or three the first time I went, which would be June 2024. The first time I went (which was previous management) everything seemed sort of chaotic and the restaurant looked a little bit dirty to me. The random candy section did not make sense for a place that was for breakfast. I ordered the chicken and waffles and the chicken tender was below average, which in my opinion was hard to do because how can you mess up a chicken tender? Needless to say when my family wanted to go there again in July 2025 I was hesitant. We looked up the reviews online and saw that they were under new management and decided to give it another try. The service was incredibly fast. We only had to wait five minutes because we were there at peak breakfast hour. Our waitress was super nice and made sure that everything was taken care of and checked in on us regularly. The restaurant looked cleaner too, and more organized. They must have re-organized the tables and chairs to make it feel less crowded. While our food was not five star quality, it was better than last time and decent for the price. Because I am not native to the area I do not know how long the new management has been there or how the establishment has been in the past except for the time we went in June 2024. I will say that I have noticed an increase in quality from the previous trip to the one we just took in July 2025. I would recommend this establishment for a very quick and easy breakfast stop if you are on vacation. The weight staff are incredibly friendly and I do think that the new management is making the restaurant better. The only thing that I truly have to complain about is that the candy section is still there but everything was marked down to half price so maybe they are trying to get rid of it. Kudos to the new management and hopefully they continue to get better and better!!

Banana walnut pancakes and side of home fries

My husband are in town for a short vacation, and we visited this restaurant for breakfast this morning. Our waitress was Kayla. She was friendly and personable, but also very professional and was able to answer all of our questions as we tried to decide what we wanted. Although I forgot to take a picture of it, my husband ordered the biscuits and gravy. He said it was very good. I ordered the banana walnut pancakes with a side of home fries. The portion of pancakes was huge! I definitely did not need to worry about ordering aside. However, my husband was kind enough to eat the home fries for me :-) The restaurant is very cute. It also appears to have a candy and sweet shop attached. We learned that this is very common place in this beach town. Their breakfast menu is very diverse and offers a lot of different options. So, if you're in town for a period of time, you could easily go here each morning and try something different. If you have the occasion to visit this area , make sure to check out this restaurant for a great breakfast!

Under new management! My husband and I had the pleasure of getting to know the new owners Andy & Ngoc Lee and some of their staff. It was their 3rd day in operation as the new owners and things were running very smoothly. Everyone seems to work very well together. Their staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The food tasted great- I had waffles, eggs and a side of potatoes. My husband had the pancakes with extras of everything because that's just how he rolls but I must say that the portions are generous and I took some of mine home and ate later-yay! The ambience is welcoming, like you walked into a friend's house. Even though we were just passing through, we will make a point to come back again and recommend to friends. Please stop in and have a meal here. These people are wonderful to spend time with and just typing this is making me want to go back and have some breakfast!

The whole restaurant is super cute, albeit it does get really hot inside with only fans when there are lots of people inside. The tables are clean and the staff is friendly. The avocado toast has awesome goat cheese and the bacon you can add on is wonderful. The bad: Honestly extremely disappointed today. This is my third time here and I've been recommending them to all of my friends and family. We came in at 2 pm when they close at 4, drove 30 minutes for lunch, for the "kitchen to be closed". No where on their website or anywhere else do they advertise that they may close the kitchen early and I asked when it typically closes and they said they can just decide to close it when they feel like it, so they're only serving coffee and smoothies. We opted for smoothie bowls and they were completely liquid, we had to drink them and not eat them with spoons. There was also chunks of frozen fruit that didn't get blended and there was no spirulina and zero coconut flavor. Not sure who was working today but it was honestly such a bad experience that I don't think I'll be back or be recommending them to people anymore. $13 for basically a banana and handful of blueberries with melted juice and frozen pineapple chunks is highway robbery. Added two stars for the two prior experiences, I guess.

It was the first of three Filipino restaurants we visited on my wife's/my Carolina week long visit, and was the best out of all of them, even though by far it was the least expensive. Driving from Durham NC to Myrtle Beach, my wife and I took a longer route so we could eat at this 'Point-Point' steam table restaurant deep in the South. Steam table means everything is pre-cooked and sitting at a buffet station. The food can suffer in the same way that a buffet can: the food gets old fast and it definitely tastes different if you can get a fresh(er) batch vs one that has been sitting out for a while. We got there about 45 minutes before opening (opens at noon on a Sunday). It's in an isolated strip mall (seemingly in the middle of nowhere), with plenty of parking. As we waited in the car, we saw many prospective customers trying to get in. The doors opened promptly at 12 pm, and we were the 3rd party in line. The order taking process is intentionally slowed to allow the serving of the food to take place not long after it has been ordered and (pre)paid. This did mean that the line went out the door for our entire dine-in visit, and we got to see the make up of the regulars. Everyone was patient: it was very clear that it was mostly locals, coming not because they wanted Filipino food, but because they wanted good tasting food at a good price. It's a small dining area, but the vast majority of people were doing carry-out so there was always some seating available. They use Clover as the POS, and identify themselves as 'Filipino Cuisine'. We got the 3 choice combo plate ($16.99), served with white rice along with a can of coke ($1.99...no soda machine here) and a side of Ukoy ($2.50). There is a 4% surcharge for credit card use. Each choice was the size of a small a la carte portion, and one would have been enough for the two of us for lunch. The food was delivered to your table, and they will bus (or one can self-bus since a garbage can is available and everything is served in disposable containers). Ukoy - shrimp and vegetable fritter - really big piece and made that morning, so was still crispy. I really like vegetable fritters and this version was OK, a bit dry but that's what the accompanying vinegar dipping sauce was for. Pork Adobo - very tender meat, not too much fat, with added onions (what you would expect in a biftek). The amount of saltiness went perfectly with the white rice. Biftek - this had the sabaw of biftek, but the cut was cubed, meaning closer to caldereta. The beef cuts were just excellent (little gristle), very tender. This amount of beef would easily be $20 in a 'nice' Filipino restaurant. Pork Sinigang - really good, just the way I like it. Wasn't overly sour, with plenty of vegetables and generous amount of pork. The broth had definitely been skimmed of grease, resulting in a dish that was more homemade (where time is taken to do the skimming) than other turo-turo places I've been. Looking over the menu can tell you about the competition in the area, and it looks like Vietnamese Pho is pretty rare in Jacksonville. Turo Turo has Pho on their menu, and even modified their name to highlight it. I've found that many Filipinos like their dishes with all the extracted fat remaining, which makes much of their soup inedible for me (in that context, it's grease, not flavor-enhancing fat). But as noted, their sinigang was good, with most of the pork fat skimmed off the broth...so thinking their Pho is probably pretty good too. We've eaten at many, many Turo-Turo places (so many around where we live), and this place has to be near the top in terms of value and taste. Funny that it's in a place that we wouldn't expect, serving locals that one would expect in the area. Both of us really liked this restaurant, and the plentiful leftovers became our dinner that night with no regrets.
