Angela, My name is…read moreMs. W. We met on Monday morning (July 17, 2017) at Memorial Hermann Pearland as my mom (Mrs. W.) was checking out. My mom was admitted on Sunday July 16, 2017. She was assigned to room N317. As you may recall, I spent the night in the hospital on the sofa with my mom. The nurse on duty, Juliet, provided me with two pillows, a sheet, and two blankets to make up the sofa for sleeping. You may also recall our discussion regarding bed bugs, I showed you my right arm where something bit me during the night. I informed you that my brother saw a bed bug on one of the hospital issued pillows. He captured the bug in a Styrofoam cup. My mom paged the nurses' station to inform them of the discovery. A young tall African American man with a beard wearing a white shirt, blue slacks, and brown shoes walked into the room and identified himself as a nurse to retrieve the bug. My question to him was why wasn't maintenance called to retrieve the bug. He stated that he would pass the bug onto that department. Later during the day on Monday several other areas started to turn itchy and red - my face, neck, and leg. I have attached pictures that were taken yesterday. At the very least, I would like to be treated for the bites and my home examined for the bugs. Thank you August 1, 2017: I have not heard from them yet. No contact what so ever. I will NEVER return.

The office manager, Donna, also showed great care and patience while we had to go through a few extra steps to find the contacts that were the most comfortable in my daughters inexperienced eyes.
