i have been going to these dentist for 3 years . I had 2 implants that cost me $3000 dollars one fell out right away however that dentist would only give me 1000 dollars back. when he shot me up with Novocain he hit a nerve and my bottom lip is still numb. Then I had Dr saw Dr Bermam best bed side manner ever. He put in my bridge, however, He quoted me one price than he made it 1000 more. read more

I usually have a good experience with the providers, but the front desk staff ( blonde lady - Argentinian) consistently makes me feel uncomfortable. The woman at the front desk is often dismissive and speaks in a rude, condescending tone. Each visit leaves me feeling disrespected, which is disappointing because the rest of the office is great. I hope management addresses this, as a welcoming and professional front desk is a big part of a patient's experience. I will find a new provider . read more

Have been a patient of the practice for many, many years and have been treated by Dr. Berman and at times by the other dentists in the practice for the gamut of dental needs from fillings to root canals, crowns and implants. All's well with my teeth and my smile due to the care I have received! The hygienists, the front line for dental care, have always been diligent and thorough and have been insightful in pointing out potential problems. The associated Endodontist and Periodontist have always been proficient and made this part of the treatment convenient as they are all done at this office. Nightmare of my filling. I did one filling on tooth #30, felt that it was too sensitive to chew a chip right afterwards, and as time went by, it became so sensitive that it could not touch cold water or feel even cold air at all. Went back to Dr. Park again who did the dental bonding. Didn't work still hypersensitive AND somehow the local injection site where the needle touched is giving me excruciating pain RIGHT NOW. I don't think her techniques are good. I have two stars, one for the front desk there is a young lady who is really nice, and one for the hygienist a blonde lady who is super helpful. Sorry I didn't catch your names. Update: I saw a new dentist who told me the sensitive tooth I did my filling from this office actually died, possibly from the filling process because it touched the nerve. And now I have to get a ROOT CANAL & permanent CROWN. In the end it cost me ~$2k extra for this tooth. I cannot comment on other doctors in this office, but I'd avoid Dr. Park at any cost. Honestly you don't know which associate you get when you go to this office (you won't see Dr. Berman himself). So it's a Russian roulette. read more

Generally good dental care and an EXCELLENT staff who are attentive, friendly, and above all else knowledgeable about the ins and outs of insurance and scheduling - they make it super easy and are a god-send. One problem - at my most recent appointment (on a December Friday afternoon), I arrived only to be told that the dentist/doctor had left early for the day in order to travel/beat traffic. I was not informed of the doctor's absence in advance, so I was only able to get a cleaning and not the exam that I was scheduled for. This is an unacceptable issue - either (1) no appointments should have been made for that afternoon on account of the doctor's absence, or (2) as soon as the doctor/staff were aware of the doctor's absence (or planned absence) (whether on day of or more preferably in advance) we should have been notified. Not good customer service and disrespectful of the doctor to "waste" our time - I now need to return on another date for the exam, which is a true inconvenience. read more

The dental work is not good quality and I often had another dentist fix the fillings this office did. I recommend going elsewhere.

Went in for a routine cleaning this week and the hygienist discovered that one of my implants was loose. Dr. Berman took an X-ray and determined that the eleven-year-old implant was perfectly sound but the screw securing the crown had come loose--not an unusual occurrence with implants, apparently. He immediately drilled out the filling, removed and replaced the screw with a new one, tightened it and replaced the filling. Quick and easy. Dr. Berman has been our family dentist for over twenty years and this visit was typical of the great service we've come to expect from him and his wonderful crew. read more

Clarification: Carmen, is polite and helpful. The receptionist referenced below is the other girl. This practice has been my only dental go-to for 12 years up until recently for the SAME reason, the receptionist/billing girl. I thought I was being unreasonable for fighting the late fee but after reading all the other reviews I realize, I'm not the problem. Truly the receptionist is anything but friendly. Sadly, I too have felt the need to go else where. And since Dr. Kim is gone, I find no reason to stay despite Dr. Berman being a wonderful Dr. Dr. Kim was the dentist for routine visits. This is the worst dentist office I have ever visited, mainly due to the same reason noted by other reviewers, as noted by another reviewer. "However, the woman who does billing is so rude and unhelpful. She ALWAYS has a nasty attitude. Very unpleasant experiences just talking to her about the simplest things. " This billing person, "Devory L" is the main reason I would not go to this office. The only good thing about the office is Dr. Kim who I initially went to due to a pain in a lower tooth...she was cordial, technically very efficient, and fixed the pain. When I came back for a cleaning, the hygienist was very unpleasant. Then she brings a different dentist (I assume Dr. Berman) who quickly looked at X-Rays who proceeds to ask hygienist what was work to be done based on X-Rays. He never explained work to be done to me, the patient. I was shuttled out to front desk and when I asked for a quote from billing person, I was told about $700. I agree to have work done in a few months over two visits as they suggested. A few months later, I asked in writing for a quote and it went up to $1300. It was never explained to me why I needed the work or why cost changed. (it was cavities, bonding, a cracked crown). I asked for explanations of work but was told I needed an appt with doctor to do that (I thought that was what Dr. Berman should have done in that last visit when he examined X-Rays) I made two appointments, to get work done, said I'd just pay the cost, and 15 minutes before appt they suddenly call me to tell me my insurance no longer lists them as being allowed to be picked as a primary provider. The insurance talked to the billing person to tell them I was covered. Insurance calls me back to tell me Devory was the rudest billing person they ever dealt with. The billing person finally agreed to let me have work done at prior rates quoted. I was then finally allowed to go to the dental chair to see Dr. Kim but then when I asked her for full explanation of work to be done I was told I needed 3 visits not two. I was worried about the ever evolving # of appts, cost,work to be done by which dentist? So Dr. Kim kindly goes to billing person to get clarification. Then billing person comes in to tell me I should just get work done elsewhere and find a different dentist, a dentist that can be assigned as my primary by the insurance company. This after I waited months to get work done, they had already committed to an estimate which I had already agreed to pay, and they already had me in dentists chair. What a waste of my time. This office only cares about money...stay away. There is also a lack of communication between hygienist, Dr. Berman, Dr. Kim and billing person so the patient is shuttled around for answers. The billing person sends you to doctor to get answers who seems to have different answers as to work needed and why. The hassle of dealing with this billing person plus the lack of doctor patient communication and between staff (hygienist, doctor, billing) is not worth it going to this dental practice. Dr. Kim should go elsewhere...she'd get a lot more business as she is actually a good dentist. read more
