I recently purchased a range hood from Howard's, a new store to my neighborhood here in murrieta. The model I wanted was out of stock but Howard's agreed to sell me the floor model at the discounted rate of $1000 dollars. Several days later i picked up the unit and discovered that many installation pieces were missing and the unit had several scratches on chimney which were not there when I bought it. The sales associate said the scratches were more than likely caused by the uninstaller who removed the range hood from their in store display. I suggested returning the unit but the sales associate (Jared Rathbone) who helped me agreed to order the missing parts from the manufacturer and replace the scratched chimney. After 4 months all I have received are the missing parts and no chimney. The associate has stopped responding to my email requests regarding the status of the replacement chimney and I am now well outside the return window for this purchase. After visiting Howard's and seeing their stock of high end appliances my intention was to purchase replacement Thor appliances for my kitchen but after being lied to and ignored over a $1000 dollar range, which was damaged by Howard's uninstaller, I would never spend another dime at Howard's nor would I recommend anyone else do so. read more

Let me start by saying the salesman Roberto Cortez was amazing to work with! We were in need of a refrigerator and did the usual shopping around. I was out of town and had my husband run into Howard's, we had never been in one. The store is beautiful and very impressive. This young man Roberto, went above and beyond to help my husband. We had specific request like black, counter depth and KitchenAid. He searched all of his stores and warehouses for the best deal and inventory, his communication was stellar and quick to respond to any and all of our questions. We couldn't even get Best Buy to answer the phone and when they did it was basically "nah we don't have that in stock" all the big box home improvement stores basically had the same work ethic. I explained to Roberto that we could wait for what we needed, I thanked him for his excellent customer service and said please keep us in mind if he could find what we needed. I mentioned my dream refrigerator was a Bosch but not in the budget. Well...he made my dream come true. He happened to have exactly what we needed and in the budget. This dedication seems to be gone when it come to customer service. We are so happy with our purchase and having the opportunity to work with such a caring, educated and genuinely passionate young man. We bought a range, dishwasher and high end hood for a kitchen remodel. Upon unpacking the Bosch hood, we found a huge scratch under the tape. This is black stainless. Called and explained the situation. Howard's contacted Bosch. Bosch called for a week later appt. Ok, I thought, they will bring the replacement hood pieces with them. Nope, they dispatched a tech who checked my receipt and the hood serial number. He told me he had to order parts and it takes 3 more weeks. To me this is an unacceptable delay for a $1,400 hood. Thanks Howard's and Bosch, our brand new kitchen looks like crap. read more

our LG washer died after 14 years , we had to replace asap. It died on Friday September 01 a Holiday weekend. . Howard's unit pricing for both the washer and dryer about $10 less than other stores . However, their price included pedestals for both units , other stores did not . Howard's also had rebates of $100 for the old units and a $200 manufacturer rebate We were helped by Robert Cortez who was extremely helpful and pleasant. He planned delivery for Sunday 3rd.
