This rooftop bar is meh. The service was not fast, as most of us had finished our drinks by the time our apps came out. Their happy hour is a bit deceiving, as the "classic cocktails" just includes mixed drinks with shelf liquor, not true classical cocktails like a marg. The prices are honestly too high for the quality of the food and service. The views are great though. There were several flies inside though. I highly don't recommend wasting your hard earned money on this event space. My reasoning is because you don't get what you're promised and paid for. At the walk through with Staci and Destiny we were informed that we would have the entire space for our private event. On the day of our private event only half of the space was partitioned off and available for use. Hotel guess was still able to mingle in and around our private event space that was promised in the contract to be available only for us. The hotel staff that was present on the day of our event wasn't very accommodating and mentioned that no one told them that we had the entire space . The manager on duty wasn't helpful at all and was smiling because we were complaining about not getting what we paid for . So , find another place to have your event that's more accommodating and that's willing give you what you paid for. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

Came here for a private event and while the space is cozy, I would not come here otherwise. The rooftop views are nice but nothing spectacular. If you happen to be staying here, it's worth checking out. But I wouldn't go out of my way to take a detour here. It is your typical hotel bar setting. read more

You have to enter through the Courtyard Marriott the outside elevator was not working. Bartender was very friendly and overall nice place to check out for the beautiful views of the city. The place is a bit pricy but just don't stay too long and you'll be good! Definitely worth the stop! read more

It's the same kitchen and Menu as down in the lobby'. It's basic courtyard fare. Went with the burger which was really very good. Served on a warm Kaiser roll with a touch of sweetness and the one of the most tender beef Pattie's to grace my lips. Burger is accompanied by batter dipped fries, it's a decent burger at a decent price point. Cocktails are Ho-hum, no the best execution of anything...at all, but they do have a fairly good shelf of spirits for any bar and they are super awesome compared to the selection at your typical Courtyard. So I was surprised when this wasn't listed on YELP. on rooftop of the Courtyard Dallas across from Union Station, next door to LaQuinta, and close walking distance to Hyatt Regency and the JFK book depository. This bar is on the 12th floor and has awesome views of the Dallas Skyline. A variety of cocktails, wines by the glass, draft beer, and bottled beer. Food wise, bar snacks that you pay for, like a cheese board, meatballs, wings. Small plates include sliders, tacos, fries, wings and Brussel sprouts. Most prices are $10+ except for bottled beers. Me and my girlfriend were staying at the Courtyard Dallas Downtown, and it just so happened that HQ was located on the 12 floor (rooftop) of the hotel. We came up to grab some drinks before we made our way to dinner in Deep Ellum. We came up around 5pm which is the time it opened, and it was super dead. The bartender was still getting set up and it honestly took some time to get our drinks, and from the drink menu that we saw, the bartender didn't really know how to make the drinks at all. Service was honestly terrible. It did get a little busier as the night went on but nothing too crazy. We ordered some fries (wedges) to subside ourselves until our dinner reservation at 7pm. It took a while for them to come out. The best thing about this place is definitely the rooftop views. There is a terrace right next to the bar where you can step out and enjoy your drink and soak in the view (and the intense heat lol). We took a few pictures on the terrace and then came back inside because the heat was so unbearable. There is also another view when you visit the restroom, you can't step out onto anything, but you can see it from the window. Overall this place was okay. I probably wouldn't come back. Our company had a hospitality event for 200+ people. I had chosen HQ Dallas because of the incredible views. I worked with the staff for several months planning the perfect event. I knew it had to be spectacular as Dallas is our company's headquarters and clients were coming from all over the country. WOW! It was AMAZING. The vibe was right on target for what I was wanting. Food, service, everything. They even made a breakout room available if attendees needed to chat business. I am still having clients call and tell me what a wonderful experience it was. Our guest raved about the food (pasta buffet). My fiancé loves sunsets and sunrises therefore the view from HQ was fitting. We now have phenomenal everlasting photos with a jaw dropping backdrop. It was a very bad experience, and i wish i could give ZERO STARS. So, me and my boyfriend went there around 9pm and we came to know that its closed. We had our reservations and even we called before we left for the restaurant. We were so pissed off and the staff they really didn't care, nobody even came to apologize for what happened.
