Right after putting in an inquiry on here, I got a message and then a phone call not long after that. I scheduled for the 2-4pm time frame for someone to come and give me a free estimate, and two guys showed up at 1:53pm. I was surprised, because I was told I would get a text, but I didn't. It didn't work in their system for some reason, I saw him try in front of me. But it was a pleasant surprise, I was available! Their names were Elmer and Kingston. They assessed the door, told me what they would have to do to fix it, gave me the honest price point, and asked me whether I wanted to hold off or have it done immediately. I decide to just get it done, and so I asked them to hold on for me to secure my cats so they wouldn't run outside. They literally had to take the door off of the hinges! They used that time to go grab tools and a patiently waited for me to let them know when my cats were secured. The job didn't take that long, I didn't actually time it.... Maybe about 40 minutes? They were efficient and really did their thing. So now, my door is fixed and I'm ready to go on vacation. They aren't the closest geographically, but they do serve the entire area. Would recommend if your door is having issues!

I called to get a price for a new key fob from a Subaru dealer and was told a new fob with programming would be over $600. Plus, they would have to order the key fob would delay me getting a new key fob several days. After an Internet search I decided to call Advanced Security. Not only did they have the right key fob in stock, they came to my house with it. In about 15 minutes everything was done. I was amazed by their service , plus I paid about half of what the dealer wanted to charge me. I highly recommend Advanced Security based upon my experience with them.

Have had them since I bought my house 20+ years ago. Previous owners had them and the house was…read morealready configured so I just kept what was in place. One of the service techs walked me through replacing the battery in my system on Friday since it had come up with a failure warning and it was beeping incessantly. Rather than waiting 6 days for a tech to arrive, she suggested I take a look locally for one or buy online. Since Home Depot didn't have one I bought this one on Amazon for $17. Arrived next morning. Bazinga!!! The security company was charging $40 for theirs plus a $70 service visit. They're only two terminal connectors so it was easy enough to install and $17 beats $110 by anybody's math. Takes less than 2 seconds to install. I had some difficulty with everything working properly once the battery was connected but I was able to call into the monitoring station and have a service tech paged to call me back. He did, and was able to help me troubleshoot the connectivity issue. Overall it's a pretty easy company to deal with. They can be a little difficult to reach sometimes (esp after hours) because I don't think they're infrastructure is like other companies. I get the impression they're a fairly small family run operation. When you call during the week for billing our other questions you get the main office personnel who are always helpful and friendly. There is no prompt in their voicemail tree for TECH SUPPORT so you have to go in through monitoring, and be transferred (or if during business hours someone from the main office will transfer you). Then you listen to more voicemail prompts and select one for somebody to call you back. They definitely call you back anytime your alarm trips, for any reason. Home, then your cell if no answer. It's $75/quarter from monitoring which is on par with most other companies in this space so overall it gets the job done. No real complaints.

I hired Monica in December 2024 to install: 28 security cameras A sound intercom system with 18 speakers 5 access control pads integrated with the fire alarm system As for the security cameras, she agreed to install 28 after reviewing my architectural plans but only installed 16--and did so carelessly. Wires were left hanging, ceiling tiles were damaged with large holes, and I was never given access to the security system, while she retained full access and was apparently monitoring the premises without authorization. The cameras themselves were cheap, low-quality models from Amazon (under $50 each)--completely unsuitable for a commercial setting, despite charging me for a professional setup. I paid her the full contract amount for this portion, and she has yet to complete the job or give me access to recorded footage. Despite paying her half of the contract amount upfront, she never delivered or installed a single access control pad. Even worse, she had no clue how to connect them to the fire alarm system--something that should have been fundamental to her scope of work. I had to bring in my fire alarm vendor and general contractor to explain to her how to do her own job. Still, nothing got done. Regarding the sound intercom system, she was supposed to install 18 ceiling-mounted speakers. Instead, she purchased cheap desktop speakers (less than $30 each) from Amazon, dumped them on the floor, and suggested installing wall shelves to mount them near the ceiling--completely unprofessional and unusable for a public facility. Meanwhile, she continued demanding more money and delayed my entire project by over five months--from December 2024 to May 2025--causing serious disruption and financial loss. To make matters worse, she repeatedly entered the property without my knowledge or permission, even after I explicitly told her not to. She frequently asked the building's front desk for access, showing a complete lack of respect for boundaries and professionalism. Monica Escala has shown a complete lack of expertise, ethics, and professionalism. She overpromises, underdelivers, delays critical projects, uses substandard materials, and ignores basic contractual obligations. In my experience, this was nothing short of a scam.

During the consultation, as Sriram (2021) observed, Rob "took notes of the locations where I wanted the drops, estimated the length of each run from the networking rack, and how the drops would be wired, carefully noting the number of cuts needed." Indeed, watching Rob in action is impressive--you can see him map, anticipate, and solve problems, as if he can "see" behind the drywall, identifying the cleanest and most efficient pathways. The first thing of note was how good Patrick's quote was when he sent it to me. His pricing was fair, and his detail and thorough approach to making a proposal were top notch. Everything was in it...including diagrams and photos. He does a complete breakdown of labor and hardware costs so you can tell what you are getting for your money. If, like me, you are providing the cameras or NVR, he helps you understand where your part ends and his begins. He also was very quick to get back to me and keep in contact as I was making my decision between him an other vendors. In the end, obviously I went with Patrick...and his price was not the lowest in fact. His professionalism was what tilted me in his direction. We made a few adjustments to the proposal so by the time he came in, there were almost no details left to work out. That is always a good sign. I'm very glad I made that decision. Because ACL was very busy, she could not schedule anything right away and suggested another locksmith. However, since my need was not urgent, I was willing to wait. Chris contacted me the next day and in a little over an hour installed the new handleset and lock. The previous reviews were spot on and I am pleased to add my own 5-star review. I appreciated that Rose really listened to my need and offered honest feedback, even if it was to recommend someone else for quicker service. Chris was knowledgeable, attentive to detail, and did quality work to fix my issue at a reasonable price. I will use them again and I strongly recommend them.
