Everything was in it...including diagrams and photos. He does a complete breakdown of labor and hardware costs so you can tell what you are getting for your money. If, like me, you are providing the cameras or NVR, he helps you understand where your part ends and his begins. He also was very quick to get back to me and keep in contact as I was making my decision between him an other vendors. In the end, obviously I went with Patrick...and his price was not the lowest in fact. His professionalism was what tilted me in his direction. We made a few adjustments to the proposal so by the time he came in, there were almost no details left to work out. That is always a good sign. I'm very glad I made that decision. Hey and Indy did a great job taking care of our home as they worked. The camera's went up and they look as they they were originally a part of the house design. The doorbell also looks original. Because ACL was very busy, she could not schedule anything right away and suggested another locksmith. However, since my need was not urgent, I was willing to wait. Chris contacted me the next day and in a little over an hour installed the new handleset and lock. The previous reviews were spot on and I am pleased to add my own 5-star review. First we met the sales representative, Jeremy, who was quite knowledgable about his competition and of course his company. He shared the differences First Security offered and every one of his points of contention were quite valid. I believed his straight forwardness and honest approach and agreed to utilize their services. Now the installation. Larry Conner was their man. This man had so much knowledge about his company, the alarm company they work with and every little detail one could ever ask for. He had the entire system set up in about an hour and completely covered every detail of their system. I was totally able to turn off, or turn on any part of their alarm from anywhere in the world. That was truly a feature we just loved. In early December we returned to our home, to find we had no heat in the upstairs of our home. Since the entire heating system had just been installed, we were totally baffled why this was happening. Was it our alarm installation? Did the installation effect the heating system? We called Larry to discuss the situation. He agreed to come back to the house to check out his installation and to be sure it wasn't caused by him. In an extremely professional manner, Larry explained why it couldn't be caused by the new security installation. He was so concerned that we didn't have heat, he called us at least 4-5 times during the week to see if we found the cause. That was far beyond his job description, but we truly appreciated his concern. We finally discovered by an electrician, that the wiring for our upstairs heating system was done incorrectly and the original gentleman who installed it, came back to repair the problem. Everything ended well, but we were totally taken back by the concern of First Security, We strongly recommend using their services. Totally first class in every way.

I had an emergency with my front door where it is old, had broken, and was a major security risk as I could not secure the door from the outside. I was desperate to have someone look at it, hoping to get any help possible, and had called 3 local lock & key operations. I had a visit from another outfit who left me with a $200 bill and no actual resolve, because the lock was busted beyond what they could fix on the spot. Easter's had given me a window prior to the other guy coming out. So, when he left, I called Easter's to see if I should still have them come out, or if the guy that came from another company had done everything that they would have done. The lady from Easter's who helped me (I feel so badly that I've forgotten her name) was so incredibly nice and helpful. We were back-and-forth via phone and email for over an hour, at which point she agreed that her technician would likely run into the same problem of the lock being so badly broken, it wasn't something they could fix on the spot. I called several locksmiths that would come to your home, but they could not give me an estimate on the cost. I spoke with Cindy at Easter lock and key, and after sending her some photographs she assured me they could make me new set of keys. I took the box down to their shop on Joppa Road and in 15 minutes, I had a new set of keys as well as access to all the important paperwork/cash. They charged me a wopping $12.98!!! The DVR that Modern Systems Integration installed for me lists for $139.99. I was charged…read more$687.94... I understand labor costs, but this is ridiculous. All they did was plug in the DVR and use the remote control to minimally configure the DVR for me. I was given no instructions on how to use the DVR, only a Quick Start Guide, which basically tells me nothing... The power supply box is a huge mess and tangle of wires. A good friend who owns his own security company in another state (**NOTE: NOT a competitor with Modern Systems Integration) took one look at the work and the price and said I was "ripped off by a bunch of hacks"... I feel I may have been taken advantage of as a single female who didn't really understand everything... Now I do and I am not pleased at all. I have pictures of everything as well as the invoice to back up my review.
