Butler tire is not cheap but they do incredible work. If you want the job done right, this is a great place to go to. My car had been vibrating some at high speeds for a couple months now (not anything extreme, but noticeable) and my main mechanic shop doesn't do wheel balancing, so I came by to get my tires rotated and wheels balanced. My Lexus finally has its smooth ride back again. I was pretty shocked at the difference afterward. I guess I had gotten accustomed to some of the bumpiness! Butler did a great job AND I noticed that they shined my tires and left the interior of my car the way they found it (I've had mechanics leave grease on my seats before lol). Butler is a great example of a high-quality, professional auto shop. I don't play around when it comes to my car, I try to do everything I can to take good care of it - that includes not cheaping out by going to competitors that might have lower prices but also lower quality work. Made an appointment online for my 2024 Gmail 3500. Went right through system. System said my truck was fine for their services. Wake up early to drive to their shop by 8am. Only to here they can't do it and it's to big. They told me someone tried to call . No one called no one left voicemail and I signed up for text alert and guess what no text. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at Butler Tires & Wheels in Marietta. I went in because I wanted my truck inspected to determine whether I actually needed new brakes and rotors. I explained the symptoms to Wayne, who walked outside with me for about 3-5 minutes, looked at my truck without bringing it into the shop, and told me I needed both brakes and rotors. He said the parts would have to be ordered and would take a couple of days to arrive. Based on his recommendation, I paid a $1,000 deposit toward the quoted repair cost of approximately $2,600. From that point forward, communication was terrible. I repeatedly had to call the store myself to check whether the parts had arrived. I was told several times that someone would call me back, but I never received those calls. When I finally dropped my truck off for the repair, I was told it would only take a couple of hours. Instead, they kept my vehicle all day. I dropped it off at 8:00 a.m., and when I called around 4:00 p.m., I was told it would be ready before closing. It wasn't. I had to return the following morning. When I arrived to pick up my truck, I learned that only the brakes had been replaced because they had ordered the wrong rotors. This was incredibly frustrating because, had the vehicle been properly inspected before ordering parts, this mistake could likely have been avoided. I was then told the correct rotors would arrive later that day or by Monday morning and that someone would call me. Once again, no one called. By Thursday, after still hearing nothing, I called the store again. I was told Wayne was not there and apparently had not been there all week, but that the correct rotors had finally arrived. When I asked how long the repair would take, I was told my truck would have to be "worked in." I asked if I could schedule an appointment, but I was still told it would simply have to be worked in. After everything that had already happened, that response was unacceptable. At that point, I decided I no longer wanted Butler Tires & Wheels to complete the rotor replacement and requested a refund for the difference between what I paid and the brake work that was actually completed. John assured me he would call me back before the close of business with a resolution. As of after 6:00 p.m., after the store had already closed, I still had not received a phone call. My experience was marked by poor communication, repeated broken promises, inaccurate parts ordering, unnecessary delays, and a lack of accountability. I understand that mistakes happen, but what is most frustrating is the complete lack of follow-through and customer service throughout the entire process. I cannot recommend Butler Tires & Wheels based on my experience, and I hope management addresses these communication and service issues so future customers are treated with more professionalism and respect. read more

I have been dealing with Butler Tire for many years and have always had a good experience. I recently paid over $14k for tires, wheels, and a carbon body kit. I was asked to pay everything upfront so I did. I was comfortable paying upfront since I have dealt with them many times in the past. a few days later we decided against the body kit and asked they refund that amount back on my card which was around $8133.00. I was told that was ok and they would submit the request. It has been weeks and they still have not refunded my money. The product was never ordered or received and we cancelled a few days after the initial payment in full. I have asked my rep Wayne multiple times when they are going to credit me back. Wayne said it had to go through corporate and it might take a week or so. well it's been since April 16 and it is May 20 and they still have not refunded or called. I had to go to credit provider American Express and ask them to reverse the charges . Butler is not responding at this point . This has been a terrible experience and the last time I ever do business with them. I have spent thousands of dollars of the years and this is absolutely no way to treat any customer and especially a long term customer. I discovered Butler was bought out by Tires plus so that might be part of the problem. I guess we will be finding a new company to deal with. Wayne has always been great to deal with , but I truly believe his hands are tied with the corporate red tape. We all know a charge can be reversed easily and shouldn't ' take this long . read more

Horrible customer service. I called them so I could see if they had blow off valves in stock for my car. I was told "I don't know what we have back there, let me look and give you a call". Fine cool after 24 hours of not hearing back I call again and speak with another representative. I was told "Ye he's on it and will give you a call". I called around and the average price for 6 new tires was $3700 or $4900 for Michelins and Bob told me about the tires he sold and I was in for $3200 Thank u Bob for saving the day. Any shop that is good with my shop is good with me. The guys at nearby Eurotech Performance Group replaced control arms on my car and had Butler Tire do the alignment afterwards. Everything turned out well. My car's steering, handling, and overall ride and alignment continue to be great. The difference is most noticeable when I'm driving on the highway. The ride is very straight and smooth on my car that is 20+ years old. It's terrific. Butler did a four-wheel total alignment for $130. I received a printout with before and actual specs for each wheel and the front of the car for things like camber, caster, SAI, toe, and turning angle differential. These days, I go to Discount Tire in Smyrna for new tires, tire repair/replacement, and free rotations and balances. However, Discount Tire does not do alignments. Butler Tire does. Butler Tire has four locations in metro Atlanta: Alpharetta, Austell, Buckhead, and Marietta. This is the location in Marietta near Baldinos and Williamson Bros. Bar-B-Q. I almost never write reviews but this has been the worst experience with a tire store I have ever had in my entire life. I came to Butler tire to get a flat repair for a screw in my tire. During that visit they lose the center cap to my expensive wheels and TEAR THE BEAD ON MY TIRE! Not only that they lie to me and say that the center cap was "already missing" and the "bead was already torn". Funnily enough I had my tires installed at Butler tire in Buckhead and had no issues for three years. They tell me only Buckhead can fix it. So I call them and they tell me unequivocally that the tire would not have held air at all if they had torn the bead three years ago. So now after the THIRD VISIT they are still trying to BS me and tell me the bead was torn and that I have to buy a new tire. For a "performance tire store" that "baby's your car" they sure have done a terrible job and seemingly don't have a clue what they are doing. Avoid this place at all costs. They will lie to you to your face, ruin your tires, and then charge you for the privilege. I would give them negative stars if I could. read more

I called on recommendation of a friend. I was looking for specific set up and literally had no luck anywhere I tried for weeks. After speaking with Wayne he listened and immediately went to work and sourced my set up. Communication was fantastic, scheduling was spot on even with the custom order. Wayne at least to me has proven is very knowledgeable and has the experience to help you get the right set up for your ride. I read the negative reviews on this site after I paid for my order via remote. I honestly as a new customer was a bit concerned. However, once there I got a chance to see the shop, it's crew and the way in which they worked. Make no doubt this is a highly skilled shop. Outside of a few counter newbies (who was very customer oriented) They have a great QA/QC check that most shops glance over. Wayne and Sergio is great. I never got the name of the gentlemen installing my set up in the shop but he did a fantastic job, paid attention to details and was just flat out pleasant. I have to give them 4 stars (not all on Butler Tires and Wheels), but their supplier stated they could provide special order wheels in approximately 4-5 weeks + 1 week delivery. The salesman stated dealing with this supplier they have issues, and agreed that I would be flexible and understanding for this order. I was asked by the salesman to call in every Friday for a weekly update, and about the 7th week it became apparent something was off. Come to find out after I was being told the wheel was almost done, they were even started unfortunately. So, in good faith I canceled the order trying to work with Butler Tires and Wheels to close out this...and the wheels I replaced them with were drastically reduced in price. The salesman stated they do not do refunds, I had multiple upgrades quoted (high in my opinion) and couldn't come to an agreement. After about 10 days or so of back and fourth - I was refunded ~93% of the remaining balance, and at that point I was done. I wouldn't buy a lug nut from these people! One of their drivers decided he was too important to wait in line for the left turn light and turned his van into me. I slammed on my brakes and laid on the horn; he hesitated and then kept turning. I don't know how he didn't swipe the side of my car. I knew where his shop was and went there just ahead of him. He saw me turn in and then decided to take off. I got a picture of his van and then went in and told whoever the guy was behind the counter what happened. He said, oh, I know who that driver is. Highly displeased. Let me start by saying I've already spent almost $5k with the Marietta location and I sent a referral that literally came in days later and spent another $4k. I was quoted $150 for an additional brake service that I was not able to get originally because I needed to put more miles on my brakes. I come back to get the service done and even though I have documentation that I was quoted $150, I was charged $880. I had to go back and forth with 3 different employees to find a resolution which still resulted in me paying more money than $150 or I would not have been able to get my car back. This is all after I had to wait an extra day because Cliff and the mechanic working on my car disconnected the ABS system incorrectly and didn't know how to fix it. Initially, my husband brought my car to Butler tires for an alignment. Our first consultation/pre-inspection revealed that two new tires were required. After installation, my husband drove away with my steering wheel still vibrating at select speeds on the interstate: 60 mph or higher. The next day, I returned to Butler Tire for a secondary inspection and was advised that one tire contained a flat spot, and another tire contained two nails. The sales associate advised that their pre-inspection involves an inspection while the vehicle is elevated via a car lift and the mechanic's hand to spin and observe the tire's condition. My service experience was beyond poor, caused me to step away from work and my newborn, and concluded with an associate gifting me two wheel nuts for a tire (suggested by a member of leadership), a $30 discount, and the same associate stated: "At least you got something out of it." I paid almost $900 for 4 tires and an alignment on a Honda CRV, and will never return to Butler Tire for a subpar service experience. read more

This location typically deals with hi end vehicles needing tires, wheels, and related services. My (hi end) 2013 Toyota Corolla S also receives the same services. I have purchased tires and wheels for this car and have been very happy with the products and service. Today it was time for my rotation (and rebalancing), as well as an alignment if needed. Having worked at NTW many years ago I know quality service and attention to detail when I see it. The service tech took all the time needed to inspect the tires and do the balancing. Two tires needed to be indexed, which seemed to have been done with care. Especially important was the fact that a manual torque wrench was used to properly tighten the lug nuts. I left knowing the job was done correctly. I will continue to take my vehicles here for some of the best sales advice and ongoing service I have found. Thanks Butler...... read more

I had to sue them yall. A month ago today I faced off against Butler Tires and Wheels in Cobb County Magistrate Court as a plaintiff in a suit alleging a Butler Tires & Wheels of Buckhead employee defrauded me in an attempt to procure a sale. There are four locations but they all fall under the umbrella of this Cobb County location and the owners & chief executives all showed up to court for this suit. Instead of producing the employee named in the suit, behind closed doors the owners claimed he passed away but when back in the room one owner claimed he could not confirm or deny the employees passing ??? Why say he died to turn around two minutes later to say you don't know?? It turned into a huge criminal cover up real quick, at first it seemed it was just one guy acting alone to defraud a customer, then he had the backing of the entire company hiding him and lying on his behalf all the way to the top. Butler Wheels and Tires doing business as Butler Brothers Tire Company settled out of court for $2,107 in the case listed in the Cobb County records as 22-J-00580. This started at the Buckhead location but ended with the owners of the company stationed at this location. I had mounds of evidence, you may not be so lucky. These guys were like celebrities at the Cobb County court house, taking pictures with clerks and everything. Even if they rip you off in Fulton County or any other location, you have to take them to court in the county of the registered agent, which is Cobb where they act like rockstars. My advice is avoid this criminal enterprise at all costs. I will be sharing my experience on every platform so those thinking of doing business will be well informed. My experience, their employees will violate the law to rip you off, the owners will cover for them, and in Cobb County if you don't have a dictionary book stack of evidence, they will probably get away with it. read more

I'm really happy with the service I received today, I spent about $1,500 on a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S Tires (245/40ZR19 in the front and 275/35/ZR19 in the rear) and the service was great. Installation here costs more than some other tire shops, but it's definitely worth it if you care about your car as I do. Techs were very careful not to damage the car or get it dirty (which is unfortunately not common at a lot of chain shops), covers were put on the driver's seat, steering wheel, and floor mat. The man who helped me was very kind and had great attention to detail, I brought new Jaguar center caps and he put them on aligning them with the valve stem caps without me having to ask. I came with an hour to close and no appointment as well. Definitely coming back here when I need tires for my other cars. read more

Recently, while on a camping trip from Florida to Tennessee, my sister and I experienced a blowout on our pop-up camper just outside of Atlanta. We spent the night in Marietta and the next day set about finding a new tire or set of tires for our camper. We were not having much luck, as it is a somewhat odd size tire. I had a terrible experience here; thought I would share. Called Butler Tire on a weekday to arrange for an alignment that weekend. Was quoted $100 which sounded fair and was consistent with what my preferred shop (Gran Turismo East) charges. So, I made an appointment for first thing Saturday. When I arrived a few of the employees came out to see my car. It's nothing special - just a Mazda Miata that has had most of it's body removed and replaced with a welded rollcage (think performance-oriented dune buggy). So that was cool...UNTIL I met the assistant manager, Wayne. This guy - truly awful customer service. He tells me that he can't align my car because "he doesn't know what it is". I tell him that while it does have some body modifications it is just a Mazda Miata with no changes to the suspension, subframes, or anything else that would affect the alignment. "Okay" he says "but no way I can do it for $100". Why, I asked. "Just because!" he says, "it is modified". Two things: firstly, Butler is a shop that claims to support the aftermarket/ enthusiast community. So wouldn't you expect many of your customers' cars to be modified? Secondly this was the same person that gave me the quote over the phone; why not ask whether the car is modified when you give me the quote? Eventually Wayne explains that it will take longer to align because my car won't fit on the rack and he is going to have to "get really long ramps to get my car on the rack and they are so long that they stick out of the building". I really needed an alignment, so eventually I agreed to pay the 50% inflated price. When it comes time to align the car, there were no "special ramps" needed to put the car on the rack. So, what explains the suddenly increased fees? Even without the inflated fees, the real problem here is the customer service that was NOT provided by the manager Wayne. He was a jerk all throughout the transaction. He first blamed his poor attitude on "not having his coffee yet", but even after his coffee there wasn't a hint of any kinds of customer service. With so many different options out there for tires and alignment, why put yourself though going to a place that doesn't value their customers? A few weeks ago, I needed a new set of front tires plus I feared my front suspension arm bushings on my 2002 3-series BMW were shot (steering wheel shimy and bumpy ride at various speeds). Since the dealer gouges customers for service, I decided to give Butler Tire a try. As I expected, the front suspension arm bushings were shot and the price I was quoted at Butler was probably 30-40% less that what Global Imports BMW would have charged. So, two new tires and the bushings, not bad......but when testing each of the wheels they discovered that two of my rims were bent - most likely due to the famous Atlanta pot holes and poorly conditioned roads. It was going to cost about the same to straighten the two rims and condition all four to look as good as new as it would to buy new rims. So, I bit the bullet on the new rims, but of course had to add two new rear tires in the process. Overall, a very pleasant experience from start to finish. While I hadn't planned on purchasing new rims and new rear tires went I went in, I was happy with the end product and end result. They also added the touch of painting my rusty brake calipers. Now my ten year old car looks clean and refreshed and the TSW Interlagos give the car a much more nimble feel than the heavy OEM M3 wheels. read more

Fast service and turn around and when I need work done beyond the scope of what they do, they are always able to recommend a reputable shop to take my car to. This as the worst experience I had with any automotive shop. Took my car in for alignment and balance. I arrived at 1pm they finished 3 and a half hour later. While waiting I was up-sold wheel spacers ($30.00) they said one was broken had to buy set of four. By the way everyone sitting in the waiting area was up-sold. Once I received my car and drove it at normal Atlanta speed (75-80) the car shook worst than before they repaired it. I was told I had an out of round tire, new tires mind you. Took the tire back to the place where I purchased them and they replaced it. Drove the car again at speed still shook like an amusement ride. $200.00 plus wasted. Long story short took the car to Pep Boys and had them balance the tires, PERFECT. I was told the balance was way off. Butler tire is a ripoff __________________________________________________________________________ All is Well!!!! The guy's at Butler Tire were extremely accommodating. After posting the review above I was contacted by the General Manager of the Cobb Location (Gary Port). They made it RIGHT an I'm very pleased with the outcome.
