    Blackberry Chai

Great WFH option, meetings, and catching up with friends. I personally love their London Fog, Golden Latte, and now their BlackBerry Chai (seasonal). It's convenient for RED residents (Emory) which I love. There's also parking inside the parking garage and also outside. Grab a coffee and walk over with your dog- super pet friendly and I usually head over to Virginia Lake Park with my coffee in hand. They also serve Beloved Bakery goods, free tastings of their roasts in the front near their register and the baristas are kind and helpful. Super clean, large windows and spacious/ quiet in the afternoons which I love.

This is a rad midtown spot. I was unaware of it until last weekend, I went in with some friends on a Saturday morning to hangout and catch up. I was impressed by the corner location and the 2 story floor to ceiling windows! On a winter day it is bright and warm from all the natural sunlight. There is a decent amount of free parking in the plaza. We were greeted by very friendly staff as we came in. The other patrons were having converstations, but even with the large space it wasn't loud. There were some seasonal specials available and they were explained quite well. We placed our order and went up to the 2nd floor to take in the view and settle in. A few minutes later a barista brought our drinks up, I expected them to be called out and I would go get them. The service and friendliness from the staff made it an enjoyable morning. Now on to the coffee! I ordered the GInger Berry Cold Brew. I had no idea what to expect, but I thought I would be adventurous and try a new drink. Let me tell you, this was exquisite! A blueberry flavored cold brew topped with ginger infused foam! The creaminess of the foam mixed with the cold brew for that first sip and it was like being transported back to childhood eating a blueberry yogurt. Every sip was creamy and I had no idea that blueberry coffee was something I was missing. After experiencing how wonderful this drink was, I am looking forward to trying the other seasonal offerings!

Loved everything about this coffee shop. Nice corner location, plenty of light and plants, upstairs, downstairs and patio seating, service with a smile, free WiFi, good matcha and breakfast sandwiches. I will be back!

Free parallel parking in front of the store and parking garage around the corner. This new area offers a movie theatre, central park and playground. The coffee shop offers modern decor and and upstairs seating area. The host is incredibly friendly and easy to converse with. They have a Fantastic iced sun-kissed latte with Oatly oat milk. Orange covers the pallet with a hint of cardamom. This is a fantastic latte to start your day. The green chile breakfast burrito was extremely hot out of their microwave / oven. Tons of egg with chunks of red potatoes and green chilies with a spicy and herby salsa albeit a bit runny. Walking distance from the Peppermill, this is my new coffee spot for my annual trip to Reno!

Home made beignets, 2 are plain, 2 are raspberry. But I forgot which :)

Service is welcoming and offers a lot of suggestions for my first visit in. I picked up an amazing ice cream next door and brought it in to the hub, they don't do shakes. The establishment was clean throughout and had an upstairs balcony where people can work. Music is lightly playing throughout. I met a colleague there, will definitely be back the beignets were fantastic.

Two levels at the RED Hub location. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.

My daughter and I stopped by for some coffee. I love Hub Coffee and it's such a cozy spot to relax and chat for a while. The service is great and the staff are always friendly. One of the staff was walking around with samples of their Waffles and YUM, I know I'll be coming back to have some soon. Today though, we enjoyed a couple of Lattes. Love their Blue cups!

I came back after my last review and was pleasantly surprised to see the salsa included with the price of burrito, thank you. The service and location were both great. I do always love the ambiance of all the Hub locations and understand these great locations increase the coffee of food/goods. Thank you

The Hub Coffee Roasters spot on Red Dr. Has become my new go-to recommendation when scheduling a coffee meet-up, whether personal or for work. Not only do you get great service, delicious beverages, but you are in a beautiful environment. There are so many windows to offer natural lighting and there is a downstairs and upstairs seating arrangement. It is definitely worth checking out!

This place is hidden inside of the apartment plaza, near the cinemark theater. The cafe is spacious, two floors with many tables and chairs. I saw there was a conference table on the second floor. The drinks were great, no complaints and it doesn't cost extra for alternative milk. Service was fast and I was checked up on after I was seated too. There were water throughout the cafe as well Highly recommend this place to catch up with a friend or study.

    $10 mocha. Watery & underwhelming.
    Nick W.

Cool open space but $10 + tip for what was a very average watery small mocha. Underwhelming. Perhaps double the ingredients. Located close to RED.

Coffee is delicious. Conveniently located for the people living in the apartments all around. They even have an upstairs that can be reserved.

I've never been to Hub and there was a line but they were rather quick with my drink. I ordered an avocado toast which I knew would be a bit longer, but didn't mind the wait as I was able to sit down on a bar stool. My latte was good and the toast the bite I had was good. Staff was friendly and will definitely return when I have the chance to try other drinks.

I've been going to The Spice & Tea Shoppe for years, even before the rebrand, and it's still one of…read morethe most comforting little stores in Reno. It's the kind of place where you walk in "just to look" and somehow end up spending forever wandering through shelves of teas, spices, olive oils, and vinegars because there's always something new to smell or discover. The whole shop just has such a cozy, welcoming vibe. My absolute favorite is their Maui Wowie tea, especially iced in the summer. It's honestly become part of my routine whenever I'm on that side of town. If I'm heading over to Trader Joe's, there's a very good chance I'm stopping here first for an iced tea before I shop. Their chai selection is also incredible. Everything tastes high quality without feeling pretentious. Beyond tea, they have such a great variety of spices, infused olive oils, and vinegars. The oils and vinegars are especially dangerous if you love good bread and dipping plates because you'll immediately want to buy five of them. The staff has always been kind and helpful without hovering, answering any questions I had, and you can tell they genuinely care about the shop and the products they carry.

The owners have spent years working on perfecting their offerings and it shows. Spices and spice blends. They are all available in a variety of sizes and packagings. Not only do they offer a tester so you can smell the flavors....but most of those flavors are available at the back bar to have made for you to enjoy while shopping or to go !!! Make sure to try "happiness in a cup"..... They also have lots of kitchen must haves.... Along with unique gift ideas.

What a major local gem in Reno. It only took one visit for…read moreme to become a fan of this coffee shop/bar in Midtown. You can tell that a lot of thought and heart went into the place. The decor, the entertainment, the products all struck a chord with me. On one side - a super cute pour over/loose leaf tea shop with some records for sale. On the other - a cute bar and lounge area equipped with a vinyl player (Bring one in on a Monday for them to play). You have some house pants, checkered floors, and cool vinyl covers all over the walls that make for some great & hip atmosphere and vibes. Their restrooms, though small, and clean and cool. Their pour overs are so flavorful, strong, and made with beans grounded on your visit. I love that they're flavored and sweetened in a way that allows the coffee to shine. If you're into sweeter drinks, ask for a bit more sweetner or add in a brown raw sugar packet yourself from the straw station. I hear their chocolate pour over is a hit. Matchas - prepared in a similar fashion. Slightly sweetned with subtle flavorings. I tried their carrot cake matcha today and really enjoyed the housemade syrup they used to flavor it with. I also love that they offer loose leaf teas. Their chai was nice, fragrant and great with a little sweetner and milk. Shelby over at the bar area was sooo patient with explaining their menu and suggested a isla bonita pineapple shrub drink for a non alcoholic option. Similar to their other drinks on the coffee side, it was tamed in sugar yet still fun and flavorful. I really enjoyed the tang from the apple cider and the spice from the tajin chili powder as a contrasting flavor. Double check their website for bar and coffee shop hours as they differ from one another. And follow them on Instagram for updates on seasonal specials & themed gatherings. A lot of cool local DJs spin here for special events and parties during the holidays. Tip: sit next to the pour over station next to the menu. It's so entertaining, especially with Sydney working the station (thanks so much for the chat and entertainment. Honestly one of the friendliest baristas I've ever met in Reno). Both bars are set up in a way that allows for meeting others and socializing. Check it out. It's a good time. Notes *Catch live jazz music on Wednesdays here for free. *free street & neighborhood parking *bagels & cream cheese available at the coffee shop *they have fun with their seasonal drink specials. I dig it.

This time last year EP was on the Yelp Food Walk…read more So I was past due to circle back and rediscover it when it wasn't flooded with event goers. An interesting combination of coffee shop, bar, and vinyl lounge, EP is located on Wells Avenue. Took a break from checking out other neighborhood shops to sit and enjoy an afternoon cocktail with friends. Plenty of various comfy seating areas and about six spots at the bar. I tried the Float On, a boozy adult root beer float using local gelato from Bibo. It's a coffee shop, so my friend sipped the 9 to 5, their version of an espresso martini. The Soul Sipper, a beautiful orange colored cocktail was similar to an Aperol Spritzer. Located on the corner of Wells and Vassar, there's a little more street parking available.
