What a disappointment!! The moment I pulled into the parking lot I felt a bad vibe. The waitress was outside smoking in an SUV with some dude playing incredibly loud rap music. The glass door and windows were vibrating. We still ventured in to see tables not bussed and disgustingly dirty, people waiting with no food on the table and 2 employees just standing there. One was eating off a plate of something!!! After we found a clean table we could sit in, we were not greeted. We waited and waited and no one came to offer menus. The music outside was tearing up the building. After sitting there for 5 to 7 minutes or so, we got up and left. By then, the waitress was walking in, but the guy in the SUV was still cranking the music loud enough to rattle your ancestors. We were happy to leave. I remember this Huddle House years back as it was my deceased father in law's favorite place. We thought we would revisit the good food and environment and instead, we walked into a nightmare. Our hotel was across the parking lot from this restaurant, and with no car to get us around, we wanted to give this place a try. The staff was friendly and the ambiance was a little loud but that's because this is your typical U.S. diner with all your breakfast options (pancakes, eggs, etc.). My friend and I tried their loaded hashbrowns with steak, and we loved it. We are glad we had this option next to us. They did serve me orange juice with ice, which I've never really had before, so that was interesting. If I come and stay at the same hotel again, I will definitely be coming back to Huddle House. read more

Wife and I came in September 10, 2022 around 11am for breakfast/lunch. The place was busy but we got a table quickly. We were greeted within minutes by a very nice server, she was very polite and professional (I did not get her name but she was an older lady and a grandma - her granddaughter came to visit while we were there so that's how I know!). She took our orders and brought us drinks. While this is a standard Huddle House the menu at this location has changed somewhat. They no longer offer the southern smothered biscuit platters so I had to basically opt for something else (this was extremely disappointing as we chose this Huddle House over many other places in the area so I could get this menu item). I had to settle for the "stuffed hashbrowns" but I asked for a biscuit to be added to it. My wife had the hashbrown bowl. The food tasted ok, not great but unfortunately about a half hour after eating we both felt extremely nauseated. While the server was great we won't return to this location, which is a shame because we both like Huddle House normally. read more

Next time I'll just go to Waffle House, this place needs guidance. I ordered a turkey sausage biscuit, asked for gravy (plain) why would I want sausage gravy? Got mad when I asked for it, like did i not pay for it? Got the first order wrong. So you mad at me for something you did? These people ain't wearing no hairnets or nothing, huddle house tripping. Waffle House's Dirty Little Brother We were greeted then ignored. After five minutes of no offer of coffee etc. we walked out. The place was filthy! The floor by the grill, tables needing to be bussed, cashiers check out computer screen. We didn't eat the food so cannot comment on that. The worst breakfast I've had since the high school days . Actually high school food might have been better . I'm blaming my whole experience on the cook . Waitress was nice. The cook needs to find a new job asap. I literally threw the food back up . Save yourself some trouble and go to Waffle House . I will NEVER go back to another FUddle House. read more

if I could give no stars I would. forgot multiple items I ordered for a to go order that I had to go back to get my honey butter chicken biscuit. when I went back they didn't even have biscuits readry and asked me to wait 20 mins for them. which was refunded. I ordered steak and eggs and the eggs were raw! BLT was just 3 pieces of lettuce a tomato and butter toast no mayo and I paid extra to have onions on it which it lacked. our server named patience was too busy with her boyfriend outside too realize they forgot items. not only that we waited 30 mins for all of the above! horrible food and horrible wait staff and cooks. The waitress is as eating WITH HER HANDS behind the counter then carrying plates out without washing her hands. The ceiling tiles are missing showing exposed ductwork...everyone's order was coming out wrong. read more

i'm writing this review and I'm still waiting for my food which we ordered 15 minutes ago. Not like I ordered anything complicated other than breakfast. I honestly wonder how Waffle House lets this place operate as a knock off but they really aren't any competition if today is any example. if you're in a hurry and expect a solid meal and solid service I would not waste my time. Head down the road to the waffle house where I wish I had gone. read more

Food was good but the building is tired it really needs a freshen up ceiling tiles, window shades they are all just tired. Sad cause in the day the stores were nicer then Waffle House and the food was much better quality the the awful Waffle. read more

Second review: Went during the 2nd shift and I still got the same excellent service that got last time from the 1st shift. Christy was our waitress which did a great job. Kept our table served and the cook Allen did a great job preparing the food too. A great experience. Keep up the good teamwork Huddle House. The health department would have a field day here! Servers are required to wear mask at this time, ALL employees had their mask pulled down on their neck.. not covering their face at all. No gloves were being worn. Employees were eating while serving tables and not washing hands in between. Food was terrible. Cook was seen going outside to smoke, returned and rinsed hands off with water... We witnessed one table get up and leave which the employees started cussing and arguing with eachother over. $21 wasted, will not return. read more

Twice this week I've come here. I'm new in town. Twice I ordered my eggs medium well, specifically stating no runniness in the whites. In fact I'd rather they be overcooked than under and told them. Twice they came with grossly runny whites, and the recook on the second visit was no better. There will not be a third visit. read more

Great spot for breakfast. A little slow for meal but everyone was very attentive to refilling coffee and checking in. Bacon was nice and crispy. Biscuit was fluffy and they had apple butter for it. Good grits. Filling eggs breakfast for $7. Nice folks there. read more

Went around 1 am, didn't even get one bite in and noticed hair in my food, guy was touching our cheese and bacon with no glove, my wife and child couldn't even eat with us (even if we decided to stay) because the lady didn't ring their food up. Came in on a busy Saturday morning after IHOP had a crazy long wait time. Our server was good even though she was super busy. Food took a while, but no one was standing around. The staff at this restaurant are extremely courteous and friendly, and there is a wider selection here than other restaurants that are similarly priced. Much better than Waffle House! This was my first experience at a Huddle House and it was definitely a good one. The place is very clean (compared to a Waffle House), the people are very funny and they seemed to genuinely enjoy being at work. I was actually in town for business but will definitely come back to this location next time I'm in Rome! read more

The Huddle House is now under new ownership. The entire restaurant has been removed and replaced. The menu now some added items like milkshakes that are very good. The staff was very attentive and courteous. I have eaten there several time in the past 2 months and I have to admit...............I like it ! ! ! read more

Food actually wasn't too bad, the staff on the other hand was very unprofessional. There were several employees behind the counter and they were very loud and arguing with each other . It was very awkward and uncomfortable. We will steer clear of this huddle house in the future. read more
