Ordered a BLT. IT took a really long time, but to be fair, it was busy. BLT was cold, tater tots were just under warm. My friend got turkey sandwich and tots, hers was hot. I informed the waitress when she inquired how everything was. She offered to have a new order made. I declined since I was starving. The manager took my meal off the bill. Breakfast and lunch are OK, with decent service (now that it seems most of the staff are new), but dinner or later is awful. Service is terrible in the evenings, the wait time for orders is ridiculously long-especially when there is usually never more than three tables occupied and plenty of staff standing around chatting with one another. I'm giving two stars only because of the nice if unpolished service of Naeveh. Otherwise, I can't think of anything to recommend. I ordered one of their featured breakfasts with eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. The eggs were ordered over light and were cooked on the "over@ side for about 4 minutes in my estimation. At home, I cook that side about 20 seconds. Doubt you've had over light quite that far over. Think hockey pucks . The hash browns had no flavor, the bacon was cooked well but tissue thin, I didn't eat the toast because the eggs were impenetrable. I could tell the were typical of places who order based solely on price. The place seemed clean but they didn't even have salt or pepper on the table. Ok so, service was okay, food was decent, but my complaints are, the employees were too busy chatting instead of paying attention to customers, food looked nothing like how they advertised, took them forever to get us refills on our drinks even though you could clearly tell they were empty, fries were bland, and some food was cold. When they first opened portions were much larger so it was a better bang for the buck. Today I paid 15$ for breakfast and still left hungry. Portions were so small. Seems they've gotten smaller every time I've been there. Waitress was nowhere to be found. Took forever to get a refill on drinks. When we went to pay we had to run our cards ourselves and find our bill on the card machine and I've never had to do that before there. Also we were charged a supply chain adjustment fee and that wasn't on there when I was there last week. Won't be back for awhile. Very disappointed read more

Ive been to the weirton location twice now. Both times happy with my meal and service. Kait is a very good waitress she was right on us for drinks after we sat down she kept our cups full and kept a check on us with out being over whelming. She has a pleasant smile and a friendly face. This is ridiculous. I spent $14 on chicken and two sides and the chicken is smaller than the bread and tasted like rubber. The hash brown were hard as a rock. The ranch that came with my salad was frozen and the tomatoes looked like they were bad. read more

Again: Overpriced, Pictured Menu Items Grossly Hyped Up, Poor Cooking, & Waitresses Need Better Training PLEASE LOOK AT THEIR IN-STORE OR ONLINE MENU TO SEE HOW THEY GLAMOROUSLY PICTURE THEIR ITEMS... IT IS NOT WHAT THEY END UP SERVING YOU!!! Me and my husband were headed back home to Ohio from shopping at Three Springs Drive in Weirton when we seen the sign from the highway for Huddle House restaurant and since we didn't want to hurry back home, we got off the exit and stopped in. It was around 5:00pm and they were only moderately busy with maybe 5 other tables having customers. The hostess quickly took us to our seats and we liked how the table and booth was actually clean. Menus were conveniently placed at the side of the table and so we started looked through them when the waitress came and asked what we wanted to drink. My husband got Dr Pepper with no ice and I had their peach ice tea. She came back holding our glasses with her hands right around the rims where we put our mouths and so we IMMEDIATLEY chose to use a straw when most often we don't use them. My peach ice tea was pretty good and tasted like actual brewed tea :o) whereby most places give you either those powdered drink mix teas or syrup flavored teas. As usual the Dr Pepper had very little flavor as if they also turn down the flavoring to the least possible amount on their fountain machine. So after getting our drinks we got back to the menus and everything in the menu looked very appetizing but as we have been noticing over the past several years, more and more restaurants make sure they glamorize (otherwise known as grossly hype up their pictures of their food in the menu) and we immediately noticed the prices seemed quite steep for a lot of what was on their menu but we held back our views on this until seeing what we actually got after ordering our meals. We started off with their Huddle Up side sampler which consisted of a very small handful of very slim-cut fries, 3 jalapeno and cheese bites, 3 very small mozzarella sticks, several pickle slices that were breaded and deep fried for 8.00 My husband seen the pictures in their menu for the burgers and said WOW if that's what we really get for nearly 8.00 then maybe it's not overpriced and so he got the double burger asking for just diced onion and ketchup on it. I got their Mushroom Swiss burger and both of our burgers came with a side but nearly every side we chose to go with our meal they said were out of or there was an additional cost for it. We obviously didn't want more fries for a side with our burgers when our Huddle Up sampler came with fries. They said were out of chili, out of fresh fruit, and they were out of a couple other things and when my husband said I'll have the onion rings, the waitress said those are an additional cost, and so for us to avoid anymore BS from this restaurant so we can just get our meals ordered, prepared, and finally get to eat, my husband said just give me the onion rings then. So our burgers came and WHAT A PATHETIC EXCUSE for a burger....their patties were THE SAME SIZE if not SMALLER than McDonalds and the cook shouldn't be there if he can't even cook a burger.... the patties were charred to a crisp making you have to CRUNCH through them and they were completely dried up like chewing on a piece of leather! BOTTOM LINE: so after all of this and THEN seeing the bill where they charged us NEARLY 1 DOLLAR for just the table spoon of diced onions on my husband's burger, WE SAID NEVER AGAIN! Dr. Pepper.............................2.30 Ice Tea..................................2.80 Huddle Up Sampler...............7.00 Huddle Burger.......................7.60 + .90 for tablespoon diced onion + 1.60 for substituting onion rings as a side Mushroom Swiss Burger.......8.60 Tax........................................1.80 The above costs were rounded up to the nearest .10cents... example of the soda was actually 1.29 and so we just call it 1.30 It's like most everything else on their menus and in our stores whereby they put a 9 at the end of the cost which is just a scheming marketing strategy that COUNTLESS businesses have adopted to trick our minds into thinking "oh hey it's not actually a whole 2.00 but 'ONLY' a 1.99 which costs so much less somehow.....if not, ask yourself how everything made today would somehow come out to having a 9 at the end of the cost ....but the actual TOTAL GARBAGE BILL came to 32.57 read more

The negative comments from the 3 reviews I'm predicting they either got fired from Huddle House or they work for competition. Cause me and my wife been here 4 times and the food was above par. Waitress and waiters are vary friendly no problem with salty food or undercooked eggs. Burgers aren't even comparable with McDonalds if you would stuff A McDonalds burger in your mouth then you would eat earth worms. Do yourself A favor stop by try them out and I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Remember this location just opened there still working out the kinks. And if your food is not up to your likings tell them they will make it right I can assure you they will. read more

Service is terrible. Waitress was running around like crazy and when we asked why, she said she had to wash dishes and seat all the customers and she was the only one there. No manager and only a line cook. Food was awful and took forever, not worth even how cheap it was. Didn't finish my food, we ended up leaving and going to McDonalds instead. read more

First time trying the huddle house and I must say I wasn't really impressed I got the steak and eggs and the steak was like eating a piece of rubber and the bowl of grits I got was basically a bowl of melted butter. My wife got an omelet and it was cold and the hash browns had no flavor and weren't appetizing at all. Overall it wasn't a good experience not worth what we paid at all. read more

Decided to try this place on a whim for dinner. Upon entry the restaurant is very tiny and it smelled funny to be quite honest. Once we were seated at our table the waitress was very nice and myself and my father ordered the prime rib tip sandwich with fries we waited approximately 20 minutes for the food to come out which isn't unexpected. However upon the first bite the sandwich was so salty and tasted like they just opened up the salt container and poured it on. Also the sandwich only had a few small pieces of meat. Was not impressed was overpriced for the small salty sandwiches we got and a handful of fries. We will definitely not be back. Head somewhere else for dinner. read more

Several months ago, I wanted to give this place a shot since it's new. I went there twice since it opened up. The food wasn't bad at all, but it was little overpriced. On the second time I came, the waiters weren't too kind. The waiter at the front ignored me and my group when we entered in. She wasn't kind enough to help us while she was dealing with someone else, and she literally had to get another waiter to give us a booth. We had an awful experience for breakfast! We waited a tremendous amount of time for our food, for it to be cold. Our waitress was very rude and they left out their table cleaners for my 2 year old niece to get into. The bathroom floor was soaked with water from them moping it was like it flooded and I almost slipped multiple times. Me my cousin and his girlfriend went there last week for breakfast and the waitresses name was Skye she seemed like she was all doped out and kept repeating her self everytime we asked for something and there was a guy there with his kids and she kept asking if he was a cop or a mall cop and would not leave him alone even after he hes off duty and to leave it at that but she kept asking and asking the service was not great it seemed like we were there for about an hour and they were pretty much dead and the food wasn't that great either wouldn't recommend going there read more
