Ordered delivery via Uber Eats one Sunday afternoon and everything came on time. Since my in-laws were over for lunch and they haven't had a whole lot of mediterranean food, we wanted to get a little bit of everything for them to try. Here is everything we got: Eggplant Salad - pretty standard. No complaints here Shepherd's Salad - refreshing. I always like a good shepherd's salad if I'm eating a heavy meal of lots of meat and rice Falafel - this was good. I thought it was just a side of falafel but was pleasantly surprised when it came with rice, salad, and hummus Fries - soggy and crinkle cut, but nothing the air fryer couldn't fix (2) Mix Kebab (adana kebab, chicken shish kebab, lamb shish kebab and chicken adana, served with rice) - the kebabs were a bit dry but in most of my experiences at other similar restaurants, they usually are. I really liked the adanas though. One of these is enough to share between two people Baklava - I don't love baklava because it's too sweet for me but at least this had a nice and strong pistachio flavor The food came with an entire baggie of warm and fluffy pita bread, which I loved. I think next time, I'll try to order some gyro with one of their pitas.

Chicken Shish Kebab!!! That is my meal of choice, the well seasoned chicken, the delicious rice with perfect texture, the pita bread, the spicy pepper on the side, and the white sauce! Every single item is delicious. While some days I'm a bit more lucky to get a large pepper, either way the meal is overall satisfying. I've always ordered to go and the guys are always very nice and accommodating. My order has always been ready within 20 minutes and I rarely have to wait long to pick up. They do offer outside seating on the sidewalk with I believe 3-4 tables depending on party sizes. As we are still riding the pandemic wave, they have now got the hang of it by actually using masks but it took them a long time, months into the pandemic to start wearing the masks consistently. Overall a great and convenient Mediterranean restaurant in the area.

This is a very nice Mediterranean place close to my home. I ordered Chicken shish kebab and hummus takeout. Both were really good. Kebab came with rice, salad, small yogurt dip and a grilled pepper. Hummus was very fresh and delicious. A bit of waiting but good service. Would love to try other dishes as well, especially kebabs on yogurt. Highly recommend this place

*COVID REVIEW* Paid a visit on a Tuesday night for indoor dining and they were pretty empty. There was my party and just another party seated on the other side of the restaurant so I felt pretty safe with social distancing. We ordered lamb shish kebab, chicken shish kebab, and falafel. I have to say their falafels were very impressions, they weren't dry and went great with the hummus. We ended up order more hummus lol. Lamb/Chicken kebab dishes were not dry as well and portions were filling. I couldn't finish mine so ended up packing it up and finishing it at home. 10/10 would recommend!

Not deserve the price. Too many cheap rice and stuff. I will never eat this restaurant again. $19 bucks just for this

I've ordered from here like 3 times in the last couple weeks and lemme tell you, every time, IT'S FIRE. Most definitely have found a new go-to for delivery during the covid19 pandemic. Falafels are freaking delicious; not dry like I've had at a lot of other places. I usually either get the chicken shish kebab with rice or the mixed kebab plate and share, since the portion sizes are really generous. The white sauce with herbs that comes with the entrees is crazy good too. 10/10 will absolutely be ordering from here an absurd amount from here on out

Its too bad they're located just a bit outside of my neighborhood otherwise I would be probably ordering here every week or so. I ordered delivery during a Friday noon time and was quoted about 45 minutes total, however the delivery came well under 30 minutes after I placed my order and the food was still quite warm. Definitely was very happy about the delivery. They offer no contact delivery and would give a courtesy ring which is quite nice given the current situation. The food was plentiful although the prices are the bit higher side but definitely well worth the money. Especially the Falafel plate its almost enough to feed me for a whole day. Definitely would be giving them my business more going forward. I would highly recommended their lunch deals for the best value for your money here.

Adana Kebab Wrap with a minuscule kebab :(
    Sonia P.

Ordered an Adana Kebab wrap for takeaway along with a an order of Babaghanoush. The wrap was seriously a joke! I've never seen such a tiny, thin kebab in my life!! It's $8 for the wrap at lunch, so definitely not cheap, but I thought from the good reviews and the look of the restaurant from the outside that it would be worth it. Sadly, a huge NO from my end. I could have gotten a better lunch - taste and value - from a cart!

I don't like write a bad review but I feel I have to do it because what happened was too much ! I ordered food from this place yesterday. I ordered hommus and an extra side of pita bread , and some more items. But what was extremely disappointing and disgusting was how we received our pita bread had a bites from Mices . Bread was eaten from inside and the bags were ripped already . We did not eat the food at all I had throw it out and I called to the site to let them know what happened and some guy told me He was going to give me a credit ! I don't want a credit I want a full refund which I spent a lot of money . This is not acceptable and it's very disgusting . I wondered how disgusting their place it is and I of course I will order food anymore from this place and I would not recommend no one to do it .

Shepherd Salad (APP, 4/5) - Fresh, bright(as in vinegar), and herbaceous, we added feta cheese to it and it was perfect balance to our entree. Kofte Kebab (MAIN, 4/5) - Not too dry with packed flavor of all the herbs & beef, I really enjoyed my dish. Went great with all the other accouterments such as slightly cinged wedge of tomato and onion slices, all frolicking on a bed of warm rice that had a nice bite. Adana Kebap (MAIN, 4/5) - My colleague had this one, and I tried a piece. It was juicy and had no hint of gaminess which is always a plus for lamb. 3. Service (3/5) - This being a mom & pop store, I think they're short on staff. Usually they're all in the back cooking, so you do need to be a bit patient to flag someone down. We ordered pretty much the same thing as the first time with the addition of the Cheese Borek to try out. It had a great balance of salty cheese flavor to the crispy phyllo dough. It went well with the Fattoush Salad (that came with the Mixed Platter). We were 3 people this time and the Mixed Platter for 2 was plenty of food along with all the appetizers we got. The Iced Mint Lemonade could have a bit more mint and less sugar but I found it sweet and refreshing. Their Hummus and Babaghanoush here are both excellent and pairs well with the warm pita they give you. Please do yourself a favor and check out El Jardin! It was 5pm on a slow Monday so we were seated right away. The interior is cozy, quiet, and clean. We started with 3 Mixed Appetizers along with their complimentary warm bread. The 3 dips were all solid but nothing out of the ordinary. Good flavor, smooth & creamy texture, and great for sharing. I love ordering dishes like the Mixed Kebab Platter for Two as we get a taste of everything and it's family-style. The presentation was beautiful, the meats were tender, and I like that they paired it with rice, bulgur, and some salad. All the meats were tender and well-seasoned but could've been hotter in temperature. I particularly enjoyed the chicken & lamb adana kebabs. My other minor complaint was the sides were not enough to share and the ratio compared to the meats was off. We definitely could've used more rice with the meats. We started with the Eggplant in Sauce (Shakshuka), which was full of tomato and garlic umami, and just a small bit of capsaicin to get the senses tingling. The Fresh Green Beans, a last-minute add-on, were the perfect healthy and refreshing veggie dish to satisfy on a boiling hot evening. From there, we gorged on perfectly cooked Iskender Kebab, but it was my Ali Nazik (roasted smoked eggplant puree with yoghurt and tender lamb meat, served with fresh bread) that stole the show. If you want meat and potatoes but with an exotic twist--well, this beats steak and mashed potatoes anyday. My only gripe was that they were out of both the Manti and the Aubergine Kebab--my first two picks--when we were there. But I decided to forgive them after my first bite of Ali Nazik. The decor inside feels homey, nostalgic, and thoughtful. They weren't busy at all on a Sunday around 1:30pm so we were seated right away. We started with 1pc Lahmacun which is often called Turkish pizza. It's minced beef, tomatoes, onions, and spices on fresh flatbread. Their flatbread and even the complimentary bread we received before this was to die for! Some of the best bread I've ever had at a Middle Eastern restaurant. It was warm, fresh, and airy. The Lahmacun had delicious flavor and paired well with the vegetables it's served with. 1pc is plenty to share among 2 people. It was now time for the Mixed Grill which was presented beautifully! All the meat was outstanding, tender, juicy, smoky, you name it. I honestly didn't have a favorite because they were all delicious. I love that it's served with both rice and salad with the salad being on both sides of the plate making it even easier to share. This was easily sharable among 2 people and could even stretch out to 3 people if you order other appetizers. We ended with the Finn Sütlac which is a Turkish-style baked rice pudding. It was creamy and lightly sweet but the rice grains were still whole and slightly undercooked which I didn't particularly enjoy. I'm used to them being softer and even smaller in size. Beyti Kebab is easily a 4.5/5; some of the best Turkish food I've had across NY/NJ. Highly recommend!
