I had the gyro wrap, my wife had the chickpea salad with falafel, and both dishes were so on point they brought me right back to my time in Istanbul. Flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. The wrap was balanced, not greasy, and the falafel had that perfect crisp-to-fluff ratio. But what really stood out? The person behind the counter. Not sure if he's the owner or just part of a family-run operation, but his energy was magnetic. He checked in with us--and with everyone who came through the door--like we were all regulars. Friendly without being overbearing, helpful without the upsell. He made the food taste even better, if that's possible. This spot has soul. It's the kind of place you return to not just because the food is excellent (it is), but because it feels good to be there. I believe this place has been remodeled to be called "Little Greek", the menu and restaurant remains fairly unchanged, but has a more modern vibe inside now. First time trying yesterday and I was delighted. I got the mix kebab plate and baklava. Tzatziki was full of mint flavor and perfectly complimented the charred meats and buttery rice. I loved that this plate had an assortment of gyro and kebab meat, and came with pita and salad as well. Overall super good quality and great service, fast takeout and well packaged. Since my in-laws were over for lunch and they haven't had a whole lot of mediterranean food, we wanted to get a little bit of everything for them to try. Here is everything we got: Eggplant Salad - pretty standard. No complaints here Shepherd's Salad - refreshing. I always like a good shepherd's salad if I'm eating a heavy meal of lots of meat and rice Falafel - this was good. I thought it was just a side of falafel but was pleasantly surprised when it came with rice, salad, and hummus Fries - soggy and crinkle cut, but nothing the air fryer couldn't fix (2) Mix Kebab (adana kebab, chicken shish kebab, lamb shish kebab and chicken adana, served with rice) - the kebabs were a bit dry but in most of my experiences at other similar restaurants, they usually are. I really liked the adanas though. One of these is enough to share between two people Baklava - I don't love baklava because it's too sweet for me but at least this had a nice and strong pistachio flavor The food came with an entire baggie of warm and fluffy pita bread, which I loved. Chicken Shish Kebab!!! That is my meal of choice, the well seasoned chicken, the delicious rice with perfect texture, the pita bread, the spicy pepper on the side, and the white sauce! Every single item is delicious. While some days I'm a bit more lucky to get a large pepper, either way the meal is overall satisfying. I've always ordered to go and the guys are always very nice and accommodating. My order has always been ready within 20 minutes and I rarely have to wait long to pick up. They do offer outside seating on the sidewalk with I believe 3-4 tables depending on party sizes. As we are still riding the pandemic wave, they have now got the hang of it by actually using masks but it took them a long time, months into the pandemic to start wearing the masks consistently. Meh 1. Compared to halal guys's white sauce, their white sauce is quite watery 2. Kebab was just okay. Lamb kebab was overcooked IMO. It was served on top of a pita bread along with cut pita bread served. Who knows why. 3. Ppl who seem know the guys running the business came in and out and they talk so loudly with counter person 4. We asked for water when the server asked for any drink. From my experience, restaurants ask for tab, clear, sparkling water before charging for anything but tab water. He just gave bottled waters and charged. I wouldn't even have bothered bringing this up if not for 5 and 6 5. 18% gratuity was automatically charged for party of 2 for 1 bowl and 2 plates and 1 side lol. Only other time I was automatically charged 18% tip for 2 ppl was at a French restaurant that served a seasonal course where servers swept our tables with mini brushes in between entries. I asked for clarification and he just pointed to section on the menu that say 18% gratuity automatically taken for dine-in customers. well 6. 18% gratuity was taken on the total + sale tax amount. Net difference is pennies but I can't stop thinking they care about collecting pennies. read more

This is a very nice Mediterranean place close to my home. I ordered Chicken shish kebab and hummus takeout. Both were really good. Kebab came with rice, salad, small yogurt dip and a grilled pepper. *COVID REVIEW* Paid a visit on a Tuesday night for indoor dining and they were pretty empty. There was my party and just another party seated on the other side of the restaurant so I felt pretty safe with social distancing. We ordered lamb shish kebab, chicken shish kebab, and falafel. I have to say their falafels were very impressions, they weren't dry and went great with the hummus. We ended up order more hummus lol. I've ordered from here like 3 times in the last couple weeks and lemme tell you, every time, IT'S FIRE. Most definitely have found a new go-to for delivery during the covid19 pandemic. Falafels are freaking delicious; not dry like I've had at a lot of other places. I usually either get the chicken shish kebab with rice or the mixed kebab plate and share, since the portion sizes are really generous. I ordered delivery during a Friday noon time and was quoted about 45 minutes total, however the delivery came well under 30 minutes after I placed my order and the food was still quite warm. Definitely was very happy about the delivery. They offer no contact delivery and would give a courtesy ring which is quite nice given the current situation. The food was plentiful although the prices are the bit higher side but definitely well worth the money. Especially the Falafel plate its almost enough to feed me for a whole day. I ordered hommus and an extra side of pita bread , and some more items. But what was extremely disappointing and disgusting was how we received our pita bread had a bites from Mices . First time at this Turkish restaurant and enjoyed my experience overall. Ordered the Adana Kabob entree which is lamb meat grilled on a skewer which comes with white tasty rice and lettuce for $12.95. It was an ok sized portion , good for one person. Flavor was pretty good. Came with two skewers of meat and rice. Also ordered a small Shepard's salad with cheese for $7.45 cause the cheese was an extra $1.50 but worth even penny. It was delicious so definitely recommended. Service was very fast and the food came out very quickly. This a small cute little place. I am a Turkish American and when I tell you this place is an authentic Turkish food house, believe me it is. First time eating yesterday, and although it looks like a fast food type of place (like you expect to find some doner, meze type of food), it offers a lot more without giving up on the quality. I've been here 2x and loved my experience each time. First time got falafel, second time the adana, which was really tender. Zero stars. Can't comment on the food since they never delivered it. I ordered in DoorDash because it said it would take 28min and I was looking for something fast. I ordered before 8:15 and it gave a ETA of 8:37pm. However for some reason this restaurant uses their own drivers & so you can't track it in the app. At 8:50 I called this place to see if it was at least on the way, the guy said yes and said it should arrive soon. At 9:15 I called again and the guy claimed it should arrive in 15 min but said my place was far and the driver had 5 orders to drop off. Really if it's too far then don't accept orders past a certain distance and allow DoorDash to use their drivers instead of insisting on using your own! But really he was lying, it's not far, according to Yelp this place is 14 min away (only 3 miles)! I kept calling the front desk person in my building lobby to check but nothing. At around 9:50pm I called again and no one even bothered to pick up. At 9:57pm I finally contacted DoorDash and they also couldn't get in touch with anyone! And of course it was too late to order from anywhere else by then. Luckily there was a McDonald's I could walk to that was open so I didn't starve (but ugh how disappointing to order all this Turkish food & instead have to eat that crap). Anyway the owner or whoever answered the phone is a complete liar, they never sent anything because now it's well past midnight and nothing was ever delivered, and they didn't even have the basic decency to call. This place should get off delivery apps since they can't even deliver and won't allow DoorDash to use their people! What a terrible experience, zero customer service. read more
