Hard to rate because the food just wasn't seasoned to excitement. It was expensive & a bit bland compared to popular shawarma trucks. I can't recommend the place. I will say, the girls serving were very sweet and attentive, it was well decorated inside/out, and it was clean. Well cooked, decent amount of food affording leftovers, but flavor/taste lacking. But, you don't go to a restaurant nor make money off a restaurant because of its decoration, the food to price ratio has to be on par, and here it was not.

Station Platter: hummus, baba ghanoush, falafel, shawarma, rice, salad, sauce, pita

Sometimes, the craving for crunchy falafel and tangy hummus is too great to ignore. Enter Falafel Station. I ordered delivery from this Journal Square eatery on a Saturday night and was far from disappointed: the "Station Platter" combined everything I was looking for in a halal platter: rich hummus, smoky baba ghanoush, tender shawarma, rice, salad, pita, and sauce (tahini, garlic, harissa). Craving satisfied. And would definitely consider a repeat order

This is what i ordered and this is what I got! Definitely no rice no dolma pickles or sauce..

I just gave a 5 star but I had to change it unfortunately they give our food someone else and we got someone else food and they don't even picking up the phone .Not good very disappointed I won't ever order again.

I ordered the shawarma platter with red sauce, tahini, and garlic sauce. The food was extremely salty! I could only get halfway through because it was too overwhelming. I'm disappointed because the seasoning of chicken was on point but it was definitely way too much salt seasoning. The rice was ok. Sauces were good. I've definitely had better shawarma from a halal cart for cheaper. Not worth the price.

The customer service…read morewas really welcoming and friendly when I had some questions since it's been a while since I've ate here my son and I absolutely loved the falafel and he really enjoyed his Shawarma sandwich. I ordered the lamb platter. I believe it's called with baba ghanoush hummus and half rice half salad. I wasn't a huge fan of the rice. The dips were really great, especially with the pita chips. The salad was a little too plain for me but overall it was a yummy meal. I think I would go with chicken next time maybe the chicken sandwich or the vegetarian plate since I did really enjoy the dips and the falafel the most. The pistachios baklava was pretty good too. Ambience is laid back.

I used to work in the West Village so Mamoun's original location saw me visit at least once a week…read morefor their delicious shwarma and falafel. It has been quite some time since I've had Mamoun's so while I was wandering around Hoboken I was delighted to come across a location on Washington! Yes, I know it's been here for quite some time, but I'm kind of new to hanging out in Hoboken so this was a wonderful surprise for me. The original Mamoun's is a hole in the wall that can barely fit 4-5 people inside standing. In heavy contrast, this location is on a corner with plenty of room. The interior leans heavily towards wood and dark colors, giving it a slightly classic and industrial look at the same time. The wall along the right is lined with old photos of the West Village (including the legendary Cafe Wha-?). It is a wonderful reminder of where this chain originated and brought back memories of my younger days working in the Village. In heavy contrast to the original Mamoun's, you go up to an ordering kiosk and you pay with your card. The menu is well designed and I was delighted to see that you could mix drinks if you'd like and you can order different sizes of sauces (at an added cost of course). I wanted the basics so I ordered a shwarma, falafel and unsweetened iced tea. The food was prepared very quickly. At the pickup area there are napkins and cutlery. They apparently package everything as if it was to go, so no trays or anything here. They handed me my order and I sat down to eat. I carefully unwrapped the shwarma and man...it was like going back in time. There was a pita stuffed completely with a salad and shwarma meat (I went with lamb for that classic flavor). One difference from the original location is the lack of a hot pepper put on top of the shwarma. That used to be a nice touch they did back in the day, but to be honest, I have no idea if the Village location does this anymore. Folks, the shwarma was absolutely *delicious* and beautifully cooked. I recommend using the foil to keep the structural integrity of the sandwich together (though by the bottom it will just start falling apart). I also purchased a side order of falafel and they were perfect. Crispy on the outside, light chew on the inside and fresh! It's not hard to find falafel, but finding *good* falafel is tough so I was super happy with this side. Mamoun's is wonderful. It is a culinary blast from the past in a modern setting. I highly recommend it!

That is not just bad service--it's unacceptable behavior toward a child with a medical condition. There was no manager present, and the staff on-site could barely communicate in English. Beyond that: Pricing was misrepresented (jalapeños) Portions were unusually small Food quality was poor (stale cucumber and jalapeño lemonade) Concerns were dismissed without even checking Basic items like falafel and hummus were "out," and no effort was made to prepare fresh batches even at 10 PM Staff resisted providing plates, even when we offered to pay The employee even gave a false name until another staff member corrected it We spent over $100 initially and ordered more afterward, yet were treated like a nuisance. This is more about the toppings. Similar to giving a dog a pill in cheese, I don't love the idea of salad but I do enjoy variety so I might eat more vegetables in this place than usual.
