Quick take: crazy expensive junk food Ended up at the airport super early. Sitting for a little bit and got the munchies. Crazy expensive mark ups on junk food. I bought a bag of cornuts for $3.99. Also, bought a bag of Haribo gummies for $7.99. I made sure I ate every single crumb.

4 times what i buy it for wow

Hudson provides a wide selection of food and reading materiel. The value is not there, items that i priced check were twice up to four times normal prices. i didn't experience the service, the pub next door provided better value for the food i wanted for my flight.

This was the only store open that I could see walking from gate 1 at midnight.. I got water to hydrate and last minute Vegas merch before our plane ride home. I heard a worker mention to the cashier that they were running low on certain items and that he was going to get more. There was a long line but also self check out machines available for credit/debit. The cashier was sweet and we made small talk during my transaction. It was a pleasant visit and I'm glad it was open so late as our flight was delayed by an hour.

My daughter and I were flying out of the Harry Reid International Airport to Orlando Florida. Prior to boarding the plane, we decided to stop by Hudson News for a snack. It was great that Hudson News had some healthier options. We ended up picking up a healthy snack pack which included grapes, apples, and a small bagel with cream cheese. There was also other healthy alternatives like bananas, mixed fruit and others in their cold selections. It is slightly expensive. Purchasing [2] drinks and the snack pack was approximately $20.00, but otherwise, it was nice to be able to pick up some snacks for the airplane.

    Expensive!

I understand that I'm at an airport, so things are going to be more expensive than elsewhere. But the prices here are ridiculous! $20 for snacks! I haven't seen inflation like this since I went on DeviantArt!

Amy the cashier was so pleasant and genuine. Love that good mojo before flying. Thanks Amy!

No one shopping in the store. Bought a veggie cup for 7.99 which half had to be thrown away. Although the expiration is a few days away the veggies are brown and taste old. The employee had me do self check since she was too busy on her phone. Had a scribbled sign up saying she does cash only. She is trying to prove how unneeded she is as a checker.

Today 10/28/22 there were 3 female cashiers working at the Hudson store next to Einstein Bros. Bagels. They were so rude and showed no respect to the customers. They were using foul language and talking inappropriately about stuff they would do in their only fans. These three young ladies need customer service training and some etiquette classes.

This is by far the worst service and place I've ever been in airports!! Had the most shocked experience of my life. I literally went in and bought three things paid for a bag and then I'm the type of person that never asks for a receipt and it gave me the option if I wanted one and I said no receipt OK so I paid for the bag and then there's no bags anywhere, and I found a worker who I asked kindly for a bag and she instantly demanded you have to pay for them and I said I did and she replied where is your receipt and I'm like I didn't print a receipt and she then replies no receipt no bag and I'm like well. You guys should have a sign up then because if you were making people Show the receipts, then the machine should not give the option to not take a receipt anyways I was talking at a normal rate all of a sudden she Octans up like 10 times and starts screaming that I'm screaming at her. When I absolutely was not! This gentleman tried to cool the situation between us and he bought a bag and then was like give it to her. she finally told him they were $.49 so I cannot even believe she took it to that level over $.49 cents Anyways we were talking. She's standing still and then claims to trip and her arms literally punches me it hurt, punched me in my shoulder and I said are you kidding me!!! and then she instantly went into defense mode and said she accidentally tripped, even though she was standing straight up not even moving just talking, but she "tripped"and happened to punch me straight in arm!!!! so I would 100% never recommend shopping here. I literally paid for a bag She refused to give it to me, got mad, screamed at me and then accidentally tripped and punched me in the arm anyone else the situation would've seriously caused a much bigger scene then the one I did. I took the bag that the Man graciously offered to get me because she was refusing to give me one, even though I paid for one and then I walked out.

Aside from the water, nothing here has price tags. Rest assured, it's all overpriced.

My goal at this store was to find a couple of cute hooded sweatshirts for my girls with Las Vegas printed on them. Mission accomplished.

This is about an 8 page newsletter that costs $2.50 an issue…read more I lost most of you already. But, like Las Vegas Advisor, that I just reviewed, this is dense with information. To be honest, the newsletter has about 6 pages of advertisements. On a sidetrack, that has always confused me. With all the free newspapers and alternative weeklies (the ones that come out on Thursdays) , of course they run because of advertising. So why, why, why, do magazines charge you $6/ month? For glossy pages? To pay their columnists? No.... The reason to get this newsletter, come to think of it, I've only seen it sold in 2 places in town. anyways the big feature is right there on the front page. It's called the toke board and it's most likely for local casino dealers. But it's also for smart gamblers to see where the action is. I use it to gauge places I consider gambling at. It's a grid that lists the average tips dealers make at a casino during a given week. I don't know if this is directly taken from tax information. I can't imagine all the casinos getting together to publish this. Maybe a union keeps track of their employers... The only thing I can think of that would radically change one of the numbers (if we believe the consistency of all the others on the grid) is if some millionaire drops tips into 5 digits on a streak. Actually, the ads are worth mention. They tell you about tournaments, big deal. They also tell you about trivia that mostly casino folk trade and share. They even have a section called the break room, since that's where most gossip takes place. I used to be a dealer, gossip is actually important among casino workers. It's not just about why someone's late, called insick, got promoted, etc. It can be industry news.

Again, no one reviewed this? You can't not go on the strip and not see this magazine tossed around…read morewith all the coupons, booklets and things. It's probably one of the biggest distributed publications on and about the strip. The articles are so standard, I flip thru them all. you're read about all the attractions on the strip if you live here. I go thru the dining section, but all they feature is the most expensive/ celebrity chef places. If you know me, you know I prefer the small janky off strip places that don't have a corporate office and most likely have the owner working a shift. THAT'S Americana. The best thing about this magazine is actually the pullout map. It's not only of the strip, but the whole valley. It's probably the best detailed street map on one page I've seen. It unfolds once, not 30 times like a street map. they have a basic information page or 2 that tells someone stepping off the place what to expect, like the long ignored tip guide. the tip guide should be placed next to the podium on poster board upon entry. I've worked many, many restaurants, not just family ones and made less than the 8% employees are taxed on tips. They're based on the sales tax of what a server sells in a shift and doesn't account for tipping out busser, bartender and sometimes expediter. They also have a nightclub section that is interesting, because it also lists the hosts and numbers you can contact for VIP hosting services. what's interesting is the clubs they leave out where I know they provide such services. If you know, write them down and write me if you see the common denominator I saw. I've seen casinos and timeshares slap their own cover over the existing cover. I've seen Tropicana, Tahiti Village and Buffalo Bills, from what I remember. It's magazine size (only about 3 of the strip guides are), so just look for a second cover if you really need to pursue this.
