Falafel Town is quite a nice find! Fresh and delicious foods across from the Marist College campus. I had the Falafel wrap w/hummus. The falafel is perfect -- fluffy & firm at the same time (firmly fluffy -- fluffy firm). My sandwich was made fresh, so the falafel was hot! The prices are extremely reasonable. They have a variety of options. Thus they are able to accommodate my Vegan diet. read more

Very tasty shawarma sandwich, but the portion was on the small side. The lamb and beef was $8, but for the size, it should have been $5 and referred to as a junior portion. Update-- as of January 2018 I have eaten here maybe 100 times. So good. Best falafel in town. I have eaten here now three times. One downside is that the place is small so you are not guaranteed to have a place to sit. I think the falafel as a platter is better than the falafel sandwich, but my fiancée really enjoyed the falafel sandwich because of the pickles used in there. Both are good but in my opinion you can taste the crispness and spices of the falafel better on its own. My fiancée had the Greek gyro and said the meat tasted fresh and the sandwich was not oily at all. We also have had the babaganoush twice and agree that it is very yummy. Always good service, friendly workers, and good prices for the quality of the food. They play entertaining videos too. I hope they stay around for a long time. read more

So today I ordered more food from here and it was delicious. I love their baba ghanoush, I actually eat it as a meal. Mosabaha was perfect and foul moudamas was great. Was the first time having these last two and just loved loved loved. I am not middle eastern, so my taste in food comes from flavors combinations and not being raised on specific cuisine. So don't get mad at me if your taste buds feel different. At some point you have to get tired of pizza, wings, burgers and sandwiches so middle eastern taste so much different you have to try it. Be adventurous :) sometimes it's worth it. The delivery was made whenever they were done cooking and the girl got to my door. The food was still at the right temp so I have no complaints. I don't necessary time deliveries. I always assume no restaurant delivers late on purpose. They might be busy so they get dishes done as humanely possible. Now...if my food is very late and also cold, then I will call and straighten things out. So if you like vegetarian food please do try their appetizers/sides. I have to say though, food taste different every time. Which is nice. They might have more than one cook so depends on that, food is either more limy, more or less salty etc. I will definitely keep getting food from here. read more

Ordered the veggie combo with hummus, grape leaves, falafel, babaganoush, salad... It was huge and enough for more than 2 meals. Best babaganous I've ever had. Hummus could have used some garlic and lemon in my opinion. Try the house made hot sauce. Great but very hot. Great service, very low prices, very clean restaurant. Not a small dive like some places. I have ordered like 10'times now so I have a pretty solid opinion about the place. The gyro is the only thing I eat because that's all I ever eat as far as Greek. Delivery is touch and go. Not sure who they use but it may be Grubhub delivery thing. They have only Messed up once On an order and go figure it's the one time I chose to drive there to pick it up Because there were no drivers available. I asked for no white sauce on the 3 meals I ordered. When I got home, all three were drenched in it. No one ate that night and I was not about to drive back. I can't decide if I should give them two or three stars. When this place initially opened up several years ago, I was super excited and looked forward to eating there. For a while the food was pretty consistent in flavor and quality. I wish it would have stayed that way. The last few times I ordered a gyro, the lettuce a bit wilted and a touch of brown. Not good! And how does one mess up French fries? It happened on more than one occasion. Slightly under done... pale looking fries with no flavor... that's just wrong. The tahtziki sauce was a bit watery and the herbs were slightly off color. Yuck! At first I thought it was dried herbs but it tasted terrible. Disappointing. We have been a customer from the beginning. Food has always been great. On a slow Saturday night, we were to sit wherever we would like. We had to sit at 3 tables before we found one clean. The floor under one table was horrible as well. Easy fix; tell your staff to clean. Why are you microwaving your Pita bread? Within minutes it's hard and not edible. We experienced this twice; second batch also hard. We just back from an amazing Turkish restaurant in Vermont and their Pita was freshly baked. At least reheat it in a oven or on grill. We also noticed that the staff were preparing napkins and utensils. The forks were placed in steel bin with the tines up. The staff person had to touch each fork with her hands touching the tines. We are not clean freaks, but these things bothered us. Clean is easy. Do it. Perhaps you will not lose customers read more

The food was really good but I was upset because my order was messed up and missing fries with one of the sandwiches which I got charged for them anyway. I would give Falafel Town a 3 star review, not because their food is bad, but because it could be amazing minus the few issues I had. It is my first time eating here, and I got a Shakshouka for delivery, which had a really good flavor. Sadly, it didn't come with the pita it said it would, and there were 2 hard boiled eggs in the container with little sauce. I think if there were more sauce, another egg, and it was served with rice and veggies, it would be more fulfilling and delicious. The eggs being poached instead of boiled would make the dish a 10/10. I'll definitely eat here again and try some different items, but based on my meal today I feel like they could improve in some items. read more

The best falafel in town!!! I am vegan and there are so many options there and I am always pleased with the service and quality of my meals! I have eaten in house once and it was a very nice experience. I originally had started to order delivery from Falafel Town at my job (very large orders) they never once got anything wrong or forgot anything. We still order there are work and since I live so close I get it at least twice a month for lunch or dinner! I am never ever disappointed and there prices are extremely reasonable for the amount of food that you get! I have been wanting to get to this place since I heard it opened to try the infamous "shawarma". The service was great staff was friendly. I was impressed with the portion size, size salad was big, a bit too much oil but the pita chips helped soak that up. The shawarma was beef and chicken, flavor was great, everything I wanted out of a shawarma. The pickle ratio was a bit high probably could've done with them on the side but I'm a reg pickle eater so I liked it. Overall, great place for lunch and to try something new. Consistently good, fresh food! Portions are huge for the price. I have only ever ordered delivery and everything always arrives fresh and hot I like that they separate the side dishes as well. It might be a Mediterranean place but Trust me get the side of fries. They are so flavorful. Omg the fries are the best! The babaganoush is fresh and has a nice smoky garlic taste . The large size portion is giant. The Meals give you a little bit of everything. The falafel are nice and moist inside. I'm not usually a big fan of hummus but I really like theirs. My least favorite thing is the pita. They are thinner then I'm used to but I am usually so full after eating I don't miss them. read more
