Melissa's Favorite Benny
Keith M.

You know that when a place is busy, it's probably going to be good. It's a pretty big place and it was very busy. I appreciate having a mature server instead of some kid with an attitude. I guess I'm getting to be an old fart. Came here for breakfast and I had "Melissa's Favorite Benny", which is eggs benedict with bacon and cream cheese. Cream cheese was an interesting addition and it really worked, I really enjoyed it. When I'm back in town, I will definitely try this place again.

Stuffed French Toast with sausage, a side of hash browns, and poached eggs.

Crazy busy breakfast joint but for GOOD reasons! The food here delightful, filling, and cooked to perfection. Great variety on the menu- even breakfasts combinations I had never considered! The Li'l Bar side was slammed just as the breakfast side was. The service was phenomenal, especially considering how busy it was on a Sunday morning. Not an empty chair in the place and a huge line out the door; all the staff members were still smiling and friendly while absolutely CONQUERING their jobs. Family friendly space; not quite ideal for conversation as it was bustling but great, homey, comforting spot. Will be returning!

Half breakfast diner, half local bar! Hudy's has you covered morning and night. I recently stopped in on a Wednesday evening for dinner and drinks at the bar. *Note - the cafe side closes after lunch at 2:00pm. The place was hopping with patrons at every table and only a few bar seats available. Wednesdays are open mic night and people come out for it! I was very promptly greeted and asked for my drunk order and asked if I needed a menu. While this is definitely a neighborhood bar filled with locals I was treated very well by staff and guests alike. I absolutely loved the small town feel of this place. The menu is pretty sizable with what you would expect from a bar. Apps, sandwiches, burgers, and various entrees. They also offer a small all day breakfast menu which I think is awesome. I went with Buffalo wings to start which use a house made buffalo. These were killer!!! Nice size wings, great exterior snap on the bite and juicy meat. Buffalo was more on the vinegar side than buttery and not too hot. Very enjoyable. I then had the Bagel Burger. I was skeptical if it would be difficult to eat with a bagel as a bun but it was the perfect size and the bagel was very nice and soft. After 8 wings, a burger and fries, and 4 whiskey sodas my bill was about $40 which is a great price in my eyes! I would strongly recommend this place for anyone looking for reasonably priced, decent bar food in a welcoming, local atmosphere. Can't wait to get back and try the breakfast.

Had been recommended to Hudy's and finally made the trip. Everything was very average. Atmosphere, presentation, taste. Solid breakfast spot with nice service. Food was good, but nothing special. Would much rather go to Linda's for a similar price.

Stuffed French toast ( with sausage and Swiss cheese). Over medium eggs on the side.

First time to Hudy's. Food was absolutely amazing. Customer service experience was exceptional. Special shout-out to Jenny and Cody who were busy but didn't skip a beat! Sat on the bar side for drinks and breakfast. Highly recommend!

This was a corner restaurant spot we wanted to try because it was cold and needed something to eat. They had dinner specials which cool, always liked that. A good bloody mary, good burger and good apps. For those who like diners, give this one a try

We went to Just Love at about 11:45 on a Thursday morning. It was not very crowded, which I had…read moreexpected. It is in a little strip mall and has a drive-through. There is plenty of parking in the mall's lot. There is handicap parking, but it is in front of the next store down. There are a couple of picnic tables outside, as well as a couple tables. The tables are pretty close to the drive-through so if that will annoy you, avoid them. Inside is bright and cheerful, good space with plenty of tables for a crowd. A few of the tables seemed to be a little closer to each other than they needed to be, but they were fine. When we first decided to go here, we thought it was a small, independent store, but it is a franchise. Not a big deal, but something to keep in mind. There are two all gender bathrooms, cute art, and merch that includes bags of their coffee. My husband had the breakfast burrito and gave it a 7 out of 10. Apparently on the website it said it came with cream cheese, but that is an error because it did come with sour cream. He said it was good, not super fancy. It was cooked in a waffle iron so it was nice and hot. In fact I think everything here is cooked in a waffle iron. He also had a mocha which was very good and chocolatey. I had Nana's cinnamon rolls (also cooked in a waffle iron. They come either with two or with four. They are fairly small so I went with four, which ended up being about one more than I could eat.. They were good. There was a good amount of cinnamon, which is important to me, and the frosting was good. They were sweet, but not overly so. They were not very gooey, but they were good so that didn't matter. I had the "Cha Cha Latte". Which was very good. We will be back.

Visited on a Saturday morning and the place was full. We were getting our coffee to go but I don't…read morethink there was an open spot if we wanted to stay. We opted for two of their signature drinks. They were good, a bit in the sweet side. They seem known for their mini cinnamon rolls which looked good but also very gooey and likely very sweet as well. They did have other breakfast options that looked good. It seemed it was more than a coffee shop but not quite a full meal spot if that makes sense. It's in a strip mall so plenty of parking and they recently put in a small patio which will be good come warmer weather. If I lived closer or am in the area I'd probably try again but likely won't go out of my way for a repeat visit.

The vibe is really cool inside too, cozy with plants and local artist's creations. The bookstore upstairs is pretty vast and has a little bit of everything!

Walking in this place felt cozy. Like you would want to be here on a cold rainy fall day with a book! This place is very LGBTQ+ friendly. This place did have spider webs in the windows and heavy dust around the windows as well. That was disappointing. You can still be cozy and clean. The staff here left us very underwhelmed. They were having a conversation and finished the conversation before helping us. So we stood there feeling stupid and awkward while they wrapped up their social hour... while taking our order, the person kept her eyes locked on the computer screen. It just didn't feel friendly at all. I expect that kind of service from a Starbucks but not a local coffee shop. My boyfriend got a latte which tasted burnt. Neither of us were a fan. I can't remember the name of the drink but I got a white chocolate cherry I believe latte. It was pretty good. I did order my drink with oatmilk and it was an extra $1.50! Are you insane!? That's literally crazy. That is by far the most expensive swap to oatmilk I have seen! That alone almost pushed this to a one star review, but the drink did taste good. Overall, there are so many coffee shops In the area, I don't feel we will be back to this one.

Wow was I not expecting this family friendly, worldly helpful coffee shop! Look up their website…read morefor more details, you don't need to read my review in which I may mistake exactly their goals and helpful charitable deeds. Overall, solid coffee place. Lots of parking and even more seating. The space itself was great. Don't even get me started on the play area for kids. My wife and I were super surprised when we walked in and there was a whole area for the kid to play! This made our journey here even more enjoyable as we got great coffee and our son got to play with the toy coffee cart. Perhaps it's an advanced training program for youths? They get kids onto playing with the coffee cart to see how good they are and then it's a direct feeder program into becoming a barista? Possibly. Anyways, cappuccino rating: 4/5! Really solid! Dirty chai tea latte: 5/5 for the wife! Play area for the kid: 10/5 he loved it and didn't want to leave!
