I went to Boulder City to walk the Bootleg Canyon Park Nature Discovery Trail this morning. Although a short walk, after that, it's always a good time to have some breakfast. Before I left the parking lot at the park, I checked with the Yelp app and found Huevos Avenue, and it was only a bit more than a mile from where I was. I don't know how many times I have gone past and never knew this was there. Look for the BEST PANCAKES covering the front windows. There is plenty of parking. The dining room is large. I was seated quickly. Quite a few people came after I got there. Since I am generally not a pancake nor waffle eater, and having just been to the Nature Trail, why not get the nopales con huevos (eggs with cactus)? I was brought coffee right after sitting down. My server, Richard, was very personable and on the ball!. When he brought my breakfast, he took care to point out the Serrano pepper nestled on the scrambled eggs and warned me about the pepper's heat. It was excellent, very hot, but very tasty. I wish I had asked for a glass of water with the coffee! You get a choice of flour or corn tortilla. I usually stick with the flour as I did today. The scrambled eggs come with beans and house potatoes. I wish there was less liquid with the beans. This was a major breakfast after a minor trail walk but it was so good! A second visit is in order.

We always say we're gonna try this place whenever we go to McDonalds across the street or DQ. It was hard to pick what to order because they all look so good. I love that there description in all of the food listed on the menu. Server was really nice. I like the look of the restaurant too, it was neat!

Updated: per the owners response I changed my review. If I didn't think you had the best pancakes (which you stated online in a video) I don't believe you on your marketing try to get me to come eat something else Stopped in because they say they have the best pancakes in town. Mine were a bit crispy so I don't think they're the best pancakes in town. My server was super sweet and I'd kill for her curls It was clean and nice. My first visit.

Driving through we decided to stop at Huevos Avenue and give it a try on our road trip. We were seated quickly and they were pretty packed. Someone came and ask if anyone had taken our drink order yet. She took our drink order then another waitress came up and took our order. The ladies were very nice and accommodating. The restaurant had are on the wall and a TV that had pictures of their food. This made ordering easier if you'd never spotted by. Belgium waffle, breakfast with pancakes, and a patty melt were ordered. The patty melt was very good with the grilled onions and cheese yummy! The Belgium waffle was like a fluffy cake, oh so good. The bacon was really thick and flavorful. Stop by food was great!

Absolutely cute egg themed restaurant. The art they had all around the restaurant was adorable. Service was quick and friendly and were helpful with suggestions. Hubs had the chicken fried steak breakfast he would say 4/5. I ordered the Mexican salad, my server suggested to have with fried chicken, cotija cheese and ranch/salsa for the dressing. It was absolutely delicious! The tables and chairs were plus size friendly. Highly recommend if you are driving through Bolder.

Was promptly seated on a weekday morning . This is a very large facility with lots of seating options . The customers are predominately older as they are from Boulder City, however they made it very clear that they love this place ! The food was good . My husband had the breakfast burrito which he said was good ! I had the chilaquiles which were also good ! I got mine with carne asada and the meat was pretty fatty and chewy so I didn't like that much . The coffee pancakes however were to die for . I definitely recommend trying them !

Super choice and worth the wait if there is one. Parking lot looked full when we pulled up but we were able to be seated right away. Staff was great and attentive. I got chilaquiles con huevos with green sauce and carne asada. Everything on the plate was super choice. Get a fork full of everything and chow away. Would also recommend a stack of pancakes for the table. They are fluffy as hell but super tasty. Parking is a little tight around the building but they have plenty of space. Everything is nice and clean inside and service was tip top. If you don't feel like waiting at coffee cup definitely give this spot a try and you won't be disappointed.

    Inside

I asked which is better French toast or the Denver omelet (not sure what call it), and she both and I think she made up a combo on the spot, French toast as a side. They were both very good. Lots of filling to amount of eggs. The ham was good, maybe not the very best I have had. The coffee was bold but no after taste. The place itself seemed a bit sterile and first song wasn't that great especially for the morning. I would go back if was ever nearby.

The service here is always excellent, and the prices are more than fair - such a great combo! My husband is obsessed with the chorizo breakfast burrito but I like to switch things up. The pancakes are always a hit, though. This time I tried the cinnamon roll pancakes and they were exactly what I was craving...soft, sweet, and full of that warm sugary cinnamon flavor. I asked about iced coffee (even though it's not on the menu), and our server kindly made one for me anyway and it turned out delicious. I'm so happy to see this place expanding to Henderson. They truly deserve the success, and I'll definitely keep coming back!

A+ here The chips that came with my fish and chips were excellent. Was told there home made. Tasty and crispy. Well seasoned The creme brulee, which were also homemade, was very smooth with perfect consistency. The crust was thick. I didn't mind because I have a sweet tooth and enjoy crunchy texture. That said, I think for most people it would direct from the overall experience. The not so great: my fish in the fish and chips. The fish itself was good quality, but I didn't think it was seasoned at all and the batter was thick. Unfortunatelly disappointing. To be fair. my family enjoyed their chicken burger and pulled pork. It was hard to choose with so many lunch and breakfast options, but we settled on the Godfather Omelette with a waffle and the Meatloaf & Eggs. The Godfather was like a pizza inside of eggs. A very generous and tasty portion. The upgraded side of a waffle was well worth the price; fluffy, thick, and well flavored of vanilla. It's honestly a perfected classic, and the best waffle we've had in a while. The Meatloaf & Eggs were also great. The waitresses were so kind and personable. There are about 3 small tables outside and about 5-6 tables inside. Each one can sit only about 2-3 people, so unless you are picking up to go, this won't work for a large group. The decor was fun and colorful. The kitchen area had a lot of open/extra space so I'm guessing this was a bakery before and the new owners didn't remodel much to keep the cost to open down. They could probably get another 4+ tables in here if they did. Not a negative, just an observation. The menu was filled with interesting stuff. We landed on 3 very different things. There was a sweet potato bowl on the menu that looked tasty, and while reviewing the menu I watched one get delivered to a table and it looked delicious and it was ENORMOUS! I wasn't sure I wanted to each that much so I went with a chicken wrap, my wife ordered a pizza, and my sister in law ordered a "small" salad. We decided to sit outside and they brought us our food and a sample of the soup of the day as a complementary treat (or it was included with our orders, not 100% sure) the soup was a ham/lentil/bacon recipe and it was delicious. My wrap was pretty tasty too, it could have used something to add crunch, maybe wonton strips or something like that. The flavor was great though. My wife's pizza was a bit too cheesy and slightly undercooked, but it was still tasty. If we ordered that again I'd probably ask they cooked it a couple minutes longer. The "small" salad was HUGE! I can't imagine what the large is like and I can't believe the price for what you get there. It looked amazing and fresh. My sister in law said it was very good. Overall I do think they have a couple things to work on but I loved the experience and I would come again if I was in the area. It was an incredible value for the quality of the food and that's why I'm still giving them 5 stars. For about $35 it was an absolute steal for 3 people.
