Came for late lunch after Hoover Dam tour. Seated quickly, staff was friendly and attentive. Ordered the Breakfast Special #1, buddy had the Kyles Burger, and son ordered a kids cheeseburger. Breakfast Special hit the spot. Biscuits were fluffy and gravy had a great texture and flavor. Buddy liked the BBQ sauce on the Kyles, burger was cooked well and was juicy. Kiddo really enjoyed his kids cheese burger (was actually 2 small ones).

Good food and WONDERFUL service but a bowl of chili, entree and kids meal ran us over $40... I was obsessed with the Chile relleno breakfast casserole that came with wonderfully crunchy hash browns to pair with the decadently cheesy dish. We got the banana bread on the side to eat later - it was fine but when I saw à la carte it goes for $6, I wouldn't recommend it My kiddos were ok about their meal. My bowl of chili was good but was hoping for a piece of bread or something to go with it in this seemingly homey, small town diner Prices felt a little tourist trappy but looking around the venue, there seemed to be better special deals but we just didn't quite align with the timing or times offered

This place was really good! I stopped in on a super hot summer day and was met with extremely prompt, kind service, and a giant ice water (perfect). I got a BLT with avocado, really delicious fries. I'd definitely go back!

This restaurant is inside boulder city. It was a nice breakfast place. Food was a little greasy but edible. I love the jars they use for glasses. Servers were nice. They were checking up on us every now and then which I appreciate.

This was a fun stop in Boulder City . The food was good and so was the service . The almost 4 dollars for a fountain drink was not fun. They have plenty of options and even a bakery next door with pies . It's definitely worth checking out if you're near by .

"Warning, this is a serious matter!" This is a "locals" favorite! It's a great way to begin and end the day! Remember this is just a reminder and a warning! Do you want good eats and drinks! Then stop! Stop here ! What is epic about this cafe besides the good food stuff here! It's the best gift they can offer the community the opportunity to thank the community for its service. First responders of all sorts. Thank you ! Are you a firefighter, police, sheriff, paramedic they have a wall of honor all for your services. When we first came to this cafe, just from the outside makes you want to come and see what's inside. They have an old Ford truck that's part of the decor outside that's always done up for some celebration of life and it's moments. Come and see what you see ! The food is truly amazing. After eating here it's time to be done . What I mean is the food is so delicious and comforting it's time for bed. Spend the day in Boulder and end it here. Wow ! If your a coffee drinker this is where you should start with coffee and pastries for that energy you need to go go get it happening Now that you know where to eat and have some great eats it time to go play . Remember the coffee is great here and awaits you before you write your story for the day.

It is spacious and nice. A vast menu accommodating breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. There is a bar as well. Service was good but either forgetful or slow (due to other waitressing duties). We wound up having to get our own high chair and crayons for the child. The food was good but typical diner food. The parking is challenging and we had to park about a block away in front of someones house in a residential neighborhood.

I have been to Southwest Diner a number of times over the years, just not in the last five years. Since my last visit, they took over the suite next door and expanded. Food Southwest Diner has a pretty large breakfast and lunch menu. We came right around the brunch window, so I went with breakfast. I went with the Breakfast Special #2, which is two pancakes, one egg, and bacon or sausage. I went with coffee to drink, which was served in a fun coffee cup that looks like a pot. The food was good, not great. The pancakes were the star. 3.5/5 Service The service was pretty good with as busy as they were. Staff were friendly and attentive and our drinks and food came out quickly. 4.5/5 Ambiance Southwest Diner nails the diner feel. Their expansion feels really nice and they pay tribute to Boulder City. They have a section where you can buy pies and cakes as well as other nick knacks. 4/5 Southwest Diner is definitely worth checking out. They sell many dishes with a southwestern flare that are worth trying. 4/5

Very cute old school diner in a very cool small town. Service was super friendly, food was on point and their bana bread and other pies are homemade.

Some menu changes since my last visit. No creamy cucumber salad. The large-tasty servings, bar drinks, bakery, in & outdoor seating and their friendly servers has not changed. Soft drinks and iced tea served in HUGE Ball jars. A dependable stop from breakfast to evening. Lots of parking on the side street and their private parking lot. Lots of fun decorations and animated persons surround their property.

They made a table for 11 for us for dinner. Outstanding service and food was very good. Ding one star for the menu showing a lower price than their billing system. Did not honor lower prices.

When in Boulder City there's two places to try and this is definitely one of them. They do a lot of scratch based cooking and baking which really makes them stand out IMO. We ordered the corned beef hash and a corned beef Ruben, both of them were delicious. The portions were a nice size. The service was attentive. We liked eating alfresco.

Look Breakfast is really a Simple meal. Done right it delights and fulfills. That's why we love coming to The Southwest Diner in Boulder City. The Welcome is always Genuine! The service is always first rate. Ask for Niki she is the best! Prices are fair. But the Good is the Star! Great quality and freshness! Really good portions. Delicious and Cooke fright Every time. And the country store vibe is great!

With little to no background, we were surprised at all of the "As seen on Food Network" labels next to several menu items. It was hard to choose with so many lunch and breakfast options, but we settled on the Godfather Omelette with a waffle and the Meatloaf & Eggs. The Godfather was like a pizza inside of eggs. A very generous and tasty portion. The upgraded side of a waffle was well worth the price; fluffy, thick, and well flavored of vanilla. It's honestly a perfected classic, and the best waffle we've had in a while. The Meatloaf & Eggs were also great. The waitresses were so kind and personable. Very well equipped to handle a crowd and acquaintanced with many locals, addressing them by name. Our coffees and waters were consistently topped. We loved sitting at the counter and watching everyone. Fantastic service in this classic American breakfast diner. Offering perfectly nostalgic breakfast bites and some novelty items, The Coffee Cup is worth your visit.
