Short stack of pancakes is already too much for one person. So, the full stack only makes sense for two people to share. My favorite is the German chocolate cake version. I always get that, along with Lolo Rick's Adobe Fried Rick--which, again, is large enough for two people to split. For a few bucks more, you can upgrade its side to two babystacks of your choice (which is more reasonable to finish than the short stack). When the bill came, a total is provided if you pay by cash, and another if you pay by credit or debit card. The card fee is 6% of the subtotal, which is not stated explicitly. That is double the 3% cashback rewards on my credit card for dining! Needless to say, I paid with cash. After Memorial Day 2026, this business will reopen in a new location across the street, by the Galleria mall.

This was my first time trying it, but all their other breakfast plates have been delicious, you really can't go wrong with those. Customer service is always great. The place is kinda small though, that's probably the one downside. On weekends it gets super packed and the waits can be long. Other than that that great breakfast place!

.......1st impression are everlasting! This was our first…read moretime having breakfast at Peg's. We saw the reviews on Yelp and most of them were positive. She had the vegan skillet breakfast w/water. Served in a huge stainless steel platter, the portions are generous. Crispy brown hash browns, fresh pinto beans, cabbage coleslaw, grits and warm tortillas (in a steaming pot). The vegan flavors excited her "discriminating" palate!! I asked her how her dish was? She responded with a "when can we come back here?!" (See pic) I ordered the Hawaiian breakfast. Two eggs scrambled, Portuguese sausage, spam, a scoop of white rice, a scoop of macaroni salad, pineapple ring w/strawberry (see pic). Hawaiian style food is imitated....and rarely duplicated outside of Hawaii. For example, the best way to cook Portuguese sausage is to grill it on a gas grill like Liliha Bakery does!! The sausage is seared (not burnt, not dry) but sweating, with juicy flavors and beautiful black charred strips!!! OMG! My mouth is watering thinking about this!! Anyway...back to Peg's...here the sausage and spam are deep fried which creates a drier and as a bit tougher experience. The macaroni salad here is the best I've ever had "outside Hawaii." When you take a scoop of it into your mouth....the flavor and texture of the moist mayonnaise mixture will "titillate and explode!!" lol! No but seriously...for the braddahs & sistas....one taste and you will be "hooked." In general, not bad. The restaurant was clean. Tables wiped and not sticky. Decor was simple and progressive. (It works!). Layout of floor plan was modern. Service is great! The staff acknowledges you upon arrival. They seat you promptly. Our food order didn't take long to arrive at our table. Our waitress checked on us and refilled our drinks. Peg's is a "keeper ". We will be back for more!

We chose Pegs due to its convenient location close to the freeway. There was no wait for our table of five just after 12pm on a Saturday. The service was quick and super friendly. One of our friends had just finished a triathlon and we had been at the lake since 6am, so we were all pretty hungry, especially him. The coffee was fresh and delicious and my cup was never empty! The portions are a good size, which suits the prices. I ordered a Denver omelet, which was good. I subbed the hash browns for the "seasoned tots" but would definitely skip as the tots were not seasoned except for maybe just salt. Not worth the upcharge when the hashbrowns tasted just fine. They have unlimited toast with the breakfasts, which is cool and they start you off with just one slice. Our friend ordered the club sandwich which looked really good and I will be excited to try it next time! Enjoy, even on the weekend!

Pink Duck Kitchen is a local Filipino-American fusion brunch restaurant that has maintained solid Yelp ratings and recently garnered a spot on the Las Vegas Review-Journal's Top 100 restaurants of 2025. Seeing as how it's the last Henderson spot which I hadn't tried, I decided to rectify that oversight today. I was thinking breakfast at first, but the Lamb Sandwich ($17.99) caught my eye. After clarifying the form of protein with the server, I said yes to this offering. I'm glad I did because it's a stunner. To start with, the bun is nice and soft. The pulled lamb is so tender and surprisingly free from gamy flavor, and whatever it's braised in does so much work making it irresistibly tasty. Then the tzatziki creaminess, tomato umaminess, and even the banana pepper tanginess really round out the flavors. Even the cucumber slices are perfectly portioned to add some crispiness and flavor. Fries come with the sandwich. I was hesitant since they were thick and also very brown. Fortunately, they were soft and fluffy inside, and there was enough crisp from the potato skins. They were actually a little undersalted too, but when I finally flagged down the server for some ketchup, I unlocked the code. The fries are just about perfect with a healthy amount of that Heinz goodness. I did get a bite of breakfast though. My friend's Ube Pancakes ($14.99) were cited as a dish to try on that top 100 list, and I can see why. There's plenty of ube flavor, and a good balance of a lightly crispy exterior and soft interior. The fresh mango and berries were a great touch, as was the whipped cream on the side. I'll have to have a full dish for myself one day. It wasn't as packed when we arrived as I was anticipating; I guess Sunday brunch invites a late-morning crowd though, since it started filling up. Music was top 40 stuff and not too loud. Really my only issue was the water not being ice cold. I've gotta come back to Pink Duck Kitchen since they have such a fun variety on their menu and they're one of the closest interesting restaurants to my side of town. If you live across town, it's actually drive-worthy for that lambwich alone.

We arrived at 11am, and while the vibe inside was lively and the decor was really cool (modern with Pink Duck vibes), we hit a bit of a snag right away. Despite seeing several empty tables, we were told there'd be about a 15-minute wait. Honestly, that was a little frustrating, especially when you're hungry and can clearly see open spots. We almost considered trying somewhere else, but decided to stick it out. And I'm so glad we did, because from the moment we were seated, the service was absolutely stellar! Our server, gave us great recommendations and made sure our drinks were always full. The rest of the staff we interacted with were equally friendly and efficient, they really turned the initial annoyance around. The fusion dishes here aren't just creative for creativity's sake; they're genuinely well-executed and thoughtfully balanced. $15.99 Fried Chicken & Ube Waffle - This was my dish, loved it. $16.99 Banana Nut Bread French Toast with Carmelized "Banana Cue" We went family style on this and I would order again. $16.99 Pork Belly Burger $15.99 Breakfast Burrito Everything felt fresh, vibrant, and celebrated both Filipino and American culinary traditions without either overpowering the other. The creativity in combining these flavors was executed well. I'd definitely visit Pink Duck again to sample more interesting dishes I saw on the menu. Mabuhay!

The omelet is HUGE and loaded with the goodies we requested packed inside (except for the avocado which was sliced on top). Absolutely delish!!! And way more than we could finish at one sitting - breakfast for tomorrow! There is a reason the OSC has had staying power despite the number of newer competing restaurants in the area. We ordered the pancake combo and the chilaquiles Con with Chorizo, and both were great choices. I asked for extra crispy bacon and most places disappoint me as they don't know what extra crispy is but this place nailed it!!!! It was so good. The eggs, extra crispy hashbrowns and bacon were great. Pancakes which we shared were also delicious. The best we have had! The chilaquiles were outstanding according to my fiancé. They give you the option of red or green sauce or the option for half and half which is what he chose. The salsa verde was good and the right blend of tomatillos, green chiles and everything else. It was not overly spicy but just the right amount of kick to let you know there was some heat in there and he tried the pepper that it came with but it was out of his spice range. The salsa Roja was flavorful but it had a little more kick than some of the other chilaquiles I've had but It complimented everything else. The chorizo was fresh and made onsite. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were solid--definitely a satisfying start to the day. The menu has a lot of options for different tastebuds and even the most picky eater in the group. (Me lol) The service really stood out. Our server Lily was awesome--super friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. She even recommended her personal favorites which made ordering easy. She brought us out a Fresh Fruit Crepe which was a wonderful surprise considering it was my fiancés birthday. It was light, fluffy, and the textures were great. It has blueberries, strawberries and Green Apples. You can tell the fruit was fresh because it was still crisp and firm. The diner itself is spacious and growing. They are Currently expanding into the next building and getting the bar up and going. They are extending their hours and expanding their menu. It is getting harder to find places that balance quality and price well, and this one definitely does. I went with the dulce de leche pancakes and they were easily the highlight. I especially liked that the server referred to guests as "familia." It is a small detail, but it adds a personal touch that makes the whole experience feel more authentic. Overall, just a really solid breakfast spot that I would come back to without hesitation.
