I've always wanted to eat at this place, and I finally got to. I was a tad bit disappointed only because the result did not match my hype and expectations. The food was wonderful, don't get me wrong, but with the prices I paid, I was expecting more seafood than what was offered. I enjoyed everything nonetheless.

We wanted our kids to experience a true Las Vegas buffet, so we chose the Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace. We had a reservation, which made things easy, and only waited a few minutes before being seated. The buffet itself is massive and honestly a bit overwhelming in the best way. There is truly something for everyone. I'd recommend doing a full walk around first before grabbing a plate so you can get a sense of everything available and make a plan, otherwise it's easy to miss sections you'll wish you had saved room for. We were given a 90 minute window, but it didn't feel rushed at all. Our server who brought drinks was friendly. The seafood section was a standout, especially the crab legs which seemed to go on forever. The Asian station was also very good. The kids really enjoyed exploring everything, but the clear favorite for them was the dessert section, which wasn't surprising at all. As expected with kids, my son didn't quite eat enough to justify the price, but he still loved the experience of it all. For us, it was more about the fun of the variety and the Vegas atmosphere, and Bacchanal definitely delivered on that.

I had to repost my review, since it was deleted by Yelp. I thought this would be one of the highlights of my trip but it wasn't. When you make a reservation, it's to stand in line only. I know it sounds ridiculous. You stand in line for about half an hour until you actually pay. The staff that was checking in people was rude. After you pay, you have to wait another half an hour just to be seated. After we got seated, we had a very nice server that went above and beyond. The meat table was awful. The meat was incredibly dry like it was well done. Too chewy and no flavor. The seafood was decent, not great. It'll do if you want to eat your money back. Looking back at my pictures, there were more misses than hits here. Highlights would be the desserts and drinks. Look at my picture with the ube (purple) drink. Yeah, those drinks are all delish. Overall, this was a one and done. Rating is about 2.5 out of 5, only because of our server, the dessert table, and drinks. Definitely not worth the money, you're better off finding better food in Chinatown. Management needs to re-train their staff at the beginning for better customer service.

    This plate was personal!

Omg! We went in hungry and left in a food coma back to our rooms for a break. The crab legs were calling my name I just had to go back for more. Everything tasted fresh... the group of friends that were with us were great! I'm not a big buffet person but we will absolutely come back to this place. There were so many good food options every time I thought I was done I found something else to try and The deserts we're dangerous! They cleaned up our tables almost immediately when we were done with our plates. Honestlyy favorite part was seeing all our friends faces getting excited over their food. We paid 100 per person but honestly I will do it again!

$100 is a pretty hefty price tag but I think the quality and variety at this buffet speaks for itself! This was my second time dining here so I already somewhat knew what I was going to get. It's super spacious inside and is the biggest buffet I've ever been to. Our server was sooo nice and kept checking in on us because I few of us went a little too hard at the day club so we weren't feeling too great... Anyways onto the food! The steamed crab legs were a bit salty but still so delicious, especially dipped in the warm butter. They loaded up my plate so much! My absolute favorite was the prime rib. It was so perfectly cooked and juicy. My friends and I just kept coming back for more because it was so good. Aside from these most bang for your buck items, my goal this time around was to try as much as I could of the foods I would like! I love how many different cuisines they have, and how accurate the food actually is to tasting authentic, from the pho noodle soup to the birria tacos. There's definitely something there for everyone. There were also so many dessert options, but I was already so stuffed and didn't really get much, but the lychee gelato and tiramisu were both really good! For drinks, I tried the ube horchata and the thai tea, which were both creamy, sweet, and delicious! Both would have tasted even better over ice but were still amazing on its own. I haven't tried the other buffets in Vegas yet but this one was so good last time that it warranted another visit from me and I was not disappointed!

From the Google rating I had low expectations but boy were they exceeded. When we couldn't get a reservation for Wynn buffet or Wicked Spoon, my husband suggested this from Reddit...so glad we did!! Got a reservation for 10:30 am for the two of us morning of at like 8am-ish and we got there around 10 and there was no line so we got right in. Perfect timing with not too many people to get in your way. So many selections, all delicious!! The chia item was surprisingly very good, they even had beeswax near the fruit!! Every cuisine, even Filipino!! My husband is Filipino and he met his approval. My husband loved the cute bite-sized spam musubi as did I. My fav was probably the lox and bagel, great presentation and very tasty!! My only disappointment is that after a few plates I was done and only got to a fraction of everything. Lots of yummy drinks and juices of all kinds! A bit on the pricey side but it was very clean, well maintained and everyone was very nice and again very delicious food!! Great service. Highly recommended!!! :)

Scrumptious seafood. Busy, so make sure you make a reservation in advance. Not much "service" since it's a buffet, but our "server" was particularly inattentive.

Maddy treated my mom & I to brunch. This was our first time here. The buffet was good. For the price they could have offered more seafood. Everything I tried was fresh and delicious. I would go back. See my pics

There are so many options ranging from prime rib, seafood, American, Mexican, desserts, etc. This buffet was much more expensive that the other ones, but I feel that it is worth it. Would definitely come back again

What a great buffet! Plenty of dishes to choose from. The steamed snow crab was a hit. I liked it better than cold crab on ice. Wasn't overcooked and they did have good leg pieces and they kept the tray filled. There was a server for the crab so that there wouldn't be a long line , people tend to be picky and take extra time when getting crab at other places, annoying. The prime rib was cooked perfect and had all the condiments to go with it. For a buffet, the food quality here was up to par. I would definitely be coming back here the next time I'm in Vegas. Don't forget dessert, plenty of options there. Also there's a soup station but you might miss it . Dining area is clean and the servers are awesome. Dirty plates don't sit too long at your table and water cups are always filled.

Called reservations to check the price before I arrived. They told me it was $91.99/person. It ended up being $99.99. After taxes $217 for 2 adults. This is the second time I called asking for the price and both times they were wrong. I don't understand why they can't provide the price online. They also gave my husband a hard time because we didn't have a reservation. There wasn't even a line. She was making it seem like she wanted a tip or was doing us a favor. The food was as expected. The Sushi section was my favorite. The brisket was my husband's favorite. I also liked the short ribs. The best dessert this time was the strawberry cheesecake ice cream. I normally like the lava cake but warm. It was cold this time. I'm always surprised that some sections seemed squished together with all the best items then there are sections that no one goes to. The section with charcuterie items is always empty along with the bread and pickled vegetables. Wish they would replace them with African food (see Boma at Disney's animal kingdom) or Greek foods ( specifically pastisio, souvlaki, spanakopita, village salad). Probably will come back if they do the locals special again.

    Came for the crab legs.
    She N.

Pro tip: make a reservation!!! Or, If you sign up for the rewards card, you may skip the line. I really appreciate the variety of offerings at this buffet. The back section offers asian flavors such as Chinese and Japanese staples: noodles, pot stickers, sushi, even a noodle soup station! Of course being Filipino, I was really impressed by their Filipino section. They have lumpia, lechon, bbq and their own version of Juan Tomas! The seafood section is always delicious! There is usually a short line for the crab legs, but it goes fast. The crab legs are juicy and succulent. Lastly, one of my favorite sections is the vegan section. They usually have something unique and flavorful to offer. When I went yesterday, they had butter "chicken". It was creamy, robust and filled with umami. If you're looking for a stand out buffet that offers a lot of variety and has staple and unique dishes, Bacchanal won't disappoint. As a Vegas local, it's worth the price every time I've visited.

I love this buffet. One of the better qualities and varieties that are worth your money! Servers are quick and super friendly and I low the seating arrangement here too. You get your private corners where it's not up in the center of the room. Prime ribs are cooked perfect and crab legs are fresh! They move fast and you are able to reserve your spot in line as well! It was so easy our 2nd time around.

Wait time during peak hours usually take about 30 to 45 minutes. Usually, the line around 4:30pm is pretty light. You may check in 30 minutes prior to your reservation time. Please see the host upfront when you arrive.

Between $65-$80 usually per person. Book reservations

    Can you make reservation?

You can put yourself in line... The reservations you make are for the time that you go in line... It's still an hour wait.. We went December 21st, which was a Sunday.

If I go at 1pm on a Monday (12/29) will there be oysters or do they not put them out until dinner time?

Varies on the day of the week and for which meal. Best one is brunch on weekends which is $65-$90. Make a reservation because those lines are long

Yes, you should make a reservation and even with one you still will wait a little bit. Everybody else is getting detailed but I always say it's about $100 per person and half the price for kids, but it is well worth it.

    Is there oysters?

Yes there were freshly shucked oysters on the chilled section of the buffet.

What type of crab do they serve during crab brunch?

I believe it's usually snow grab legs.

    What is the cancellation policy?

I believe the only way you get charged is if you are a no-show. You can cancel the same day, even a couple hours in advance via Open Table.

It had all the buffet staples I was looking for and even offered caviar, which was a nice bonus. The standout for me was the prime rib. It was tender, flavorful, and one of the best buffet versions I've had. I also enjoyed how fresh and well-executed everything tasted across the board. The dessert selection was another highlight. I used to think Wicked Spoon had my favorite buffet desserts in Las Vegas, but Wynn may have taken that spot. There were plenty of options and everything I tried was excellent. One surprise was the truffle mushroom pizza. I usually skip pizza at buffets, but this one was so good that I went back for another slice. Overall, the quality of the food exceeded my expectations and I felt the price was reasonable compared to other high-end Vegas buffets. I would definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a great buffet experience on the Strip.

The staff at check in did take some time before they greeted us. The greeting by the hostess team wasn't warm or friendly, it was just polite. We did check in about 15mins after our reservation time, which they do give a 15min grace period which I am very grateful for. After we checked in, we only waited about 5 mins and then we were lead to our table. The waitress we had for this experience was polite, but we rarely saw her. We placed drink orders and then saw her only 2 times after that. The 2 times we had to ask for drink refills, which is a bummer because it would've been nice to just have her check in asking us how things were going. The staff who cleared our plates were more attentive than our own waitress. At the end of our dining experience our waitress made an appearance with our check (prepaid so it was just a copy), but on the check the gratuity suggestion was ridiculous for the little amount of service provided. I still left a good tip, just not the full 22% suggestion. The setting of the sit down area was a bit crowded, but our table itself was a good size for my group of 4. The food experience was great for the most part! I loved the fresh hot crab legs, my favorite! The seafood boil station looked great, but I wish the server gave some sauce with the seafood boil. The birria taco and beef empanadas were both cold and stale, it would be nice if those stations wouldn't put out so much and let it sit for a long period. The street tacos were great and I love that it was fresh! Definitely try the short rib and prime rib! There is a caviar bar, but try at your own risk because when I tasted all three options none were fresh tasting. The seafood pasta was so good! I tried a little bit of everything and recommend you try a little of everything to make it worth your experience. The dessert station offers so much and it's great! The only thing I would suggest is that the churros be served hot if possible! Overall, the pricing is fair for what is provided.

The mini bone marrows are an absolute standout, and one of the reasons I am a repeat customer. Because of the perfectly portioned sizes, they never taste overly greasy. I admittedly ate quite a few! I typically do not care for buffet desserts, but I enjoyed the chocolate covered strawberries (stems attached), mini creme brûlée & fruity pebbles rice crispy treats coated w vanilla (reminded me of the old Milk macarons from LA). For dessert, I managed a purple Uzi cone, pistachio and chocolate cake, and tiramisu cake. There was also ice cream and gelato. Julia, our server, was very nice and friendly and got us our coffee and cleared our plates.

At the time we went, brunch was $54.99 per person, and we paid around $124 total for the two of us. Considering it's Las Vegas and during a holiday, I'd say the price felt reasonable for the variety offered. The buffet had a wide selection of food. They had all the brunch basics like eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles, and an omelet station where they cook it fresh. There were also plenty of lunch options including pasta, pizza, roasted meats, and a carving station with prime rib. What I liked most was the variety--they also had sushi, a salad bar, fresh fruits, and a seafood section with shrimp, oysters, salmon, and other options. For drinks, they offered coffee, tea, and juice, which was convenient. And of course, there were lots of desserts like cakes, pastries, gelato, and mini sweets. The atmosphere felt more festive since it was New Year's Day. It was a bit busy, but still organized, and the place has that elegant Bellagio vibe without feeling too overwhelming. Personally, I didn't eat as much as I wanted because I wasn't feeling well that day and didn't have much of an appetite (as I've mentioned in my past videos), but my husband really enjoyed the food, so that made the experience worth it for us. Overall, if you're in Vegas during the holidays and want a place with a lot of options in one spot, this is a good choice. Just come hungry to really make the most out of it!

IMO Brunch at $45 pp was a bit pricey for what was offered. The best thing I ate was from the omelet station and one of the mixed salads. I didn't even bother with the desserts. Food was decent but I wouldn't come back esp at that price. I rather go off strip to eat.

The restaurant is so huge that there was no wait on a Sat night despite it being crowded inside. Spicy vodka pasta - 5/5: Vodka pasta is my go to and this is one of the better ones I've ate. I'm not usually a fan of spicy pasta, but this one was really good. I also liked the pieces of sausages in there. Shrimp scampi- 3/5: The pieces of shrimp were big and good flavor. The noodle were kind of bland. Tasted better with some lemon on top.

Then list all dinner items. Breakfast should be separate as well. Why not have only 1 page for salads instead of 2? The menu is extensive and complex. Dumb it down please and you won't need to lose the sophistication. We used to always hit Grand Luxe Sort of weird that you have to request bread. Why not ask if you want it instead? It would be a better concept than me leaving slightly feeling that I could have had it Bread came AND they brought some that was GF!! Awesome! Having ordered 2 different salads, we both absolutely LOVED each salad. I asked to drop the chicken and add avocado instead. Perfect! Would we come back? Absolutely YES! We just have to overcome the huge menu options. Also, the waitstaff were amazing and patient with our numerous questions. I would have given 5 stars, but the menu and gluten free and vegetarian options were a bit of a challenge to figure out. Otherwise, 5 stars.
