I've been through many dentists, mainly because of my work schedule. I recently had a bad experience with my previous dentist not being able to book my last appointment, and never available on a sat. Also living in San Gabriel where we have a lot of asian dentists, they just don't have customer service and extremely rude, with a bunch of paper files piled up. I was referred to Dr. Ngo, and read his reviews and all were positive. I was able to get an appointment on a Saturday and came at 1pm. I came in to get my annual cleaning+checkup and requested teeth whitening. When I got here, I was amazed how this OFFICE looks so new and modern because the plaza itself looks basic. Dr. Ngo and his staff all greeted me, offered me drinks which I was already eyeing on this mini fridge with some great goodies. This fridge basically sold me for my loyalty, it's almost like getting a MERCEDEZ Benz for service. The office center is NOT piled up with paperwork, pretty much all up to technology and paper redundancy. Easy insurance and payment systems, it was super fast and efficient. My teeth whitening experience was painless. I've had a few where I felt sensitivity, but this time it was carefully done without touching my gums, and went completely smooth. Or maybe I was probably occupied watching 3 TV's on the ceiling, or connecting my own music to Dr. NGO's handmade speaker. Yes he made his own Bluetooth speaker that looks like an antique radio!! I also sat on a bright orange chair, I love it. Every patient room has a different chair color. He was also able to form my teeth tray the same day for my take home teeth whitening kit. How amazing is that!! At the end, I was explained a couple of things and recommendations, not trying to up sale, and booked for the next appointment. They gave me cool gifts which were an orange mug, toothpaste, floss, toothbrush, and mouthwash. I guess Dr. NGO's favorite color is orange. I had a small conversation with Dr.Ngo, and found out that his specialty was teeth extraction, implants, even veneers, and I told him I will get my mom to come in to do her implants. We both live 30 miles away from the practice, but will gladly drive 100's of miles to get here. read more

Always love coming into Dr. Ngos dental office! The staff are very friendly and super accommodating!! Although I live far I make a 1.5 hr drive to come to this specific dental office because I love how much they care and take care of their patients. I always feel respected and my treatments are always comfortable & they make sure I am always okay throughout the processes. I think I've found a dentist finally! Finding a good dentist that you trust is so hard. I've had so many horrible experiences in the past but I don't think I need to look any further! Dr. Ngo and his team were so pleasant and made me feel like they really cared about my teeth. Not about how much they could juice from me or my insurance. I came by this past Saturday for a teeth whitening and left very happy with my results. Brigette was the assistant who did the procedure and she was very gentle and informative. She walked me through the process and after 4 sessions, my teeth where 2-3 shades lighter than before. They also gave me a take home whitening kit on top of that! Dr. Ngo came in every now and then to check-up on me and to examine my teeth with a few helpful suggestions on ways to improve my smile. Besides the staff, the office itself is pretty nice. There's different colored custom chairs for each room and three TVs positioned in front of you so you can be entertained no matter which way you're laying. There's also a custom made vintage speaker that Dr. Ngo builds on his own so you can listen to your own music! You don't see that everyday in a dental office. There's a lot more that needs to be done to my teeth and I feel like Dr. Ngo is someone I can trust to do it. read more

Dr. Ngo has been my dentist for over 10 years and I've followed him around from office to office. Once you find a good dentist, stick with him, and that's exactly what I've done. Dr. Ngo is extremely knowledgeable and he will not try to up-sale you on dental work that's not needed. Secondly, he does great work. I unfortunately have bad teeth due to hereditary reasons and he's had to fix other dentist's work when it comes to root canals and crowns. Lastly, his staff is awesome and really know how to make their patients feel comfortable and make us feel like family. I HIGHLY recommend this office. Dr Ngo is an extremely talented dentist. I was in dire need of having my previous crowns replaced, and Dr. Ngo did an amazing job. Trust me, I would know a thing or two about the crowns. My previous crowns from my past dentists either popped off or cracked. I could feel that Dr. Ngo's crowns felt great right away, it feels and looks so natural. Crowns are something you don't want to mess around with, it has to be applied correctly the first time and in the suitable material. I'm a pretty fussy patient, so I liked how he kept me informed and consulted me with several options. A big thumbs up for his ultra clean and modern office. 3 TV's in each room for viewing pleasure. LOOK NO FURTHER - this IS your new dentist!!! Let me preface this with the fact that I have been a patient of Dr. Ngo's since 2004. I've followed him to all of his offices, from one end of OC to the other, and I have never been disappointed. I'm ecstatic that he finally has a spot all his own, which represents his own unique style. I know you have Googled and Yelped your fingers off, and it's never an easy decision to stop and tell yourself, "This is the one!", but this is WHY he IS "the one": The very first time I saw Dr. Ngo was for a defective crown that another dentist had done. It kept falling off, and I ended up losing it completely playing sports. Not only did he review the poor work which was done, but he enlightened me on WHY it had failed, and told me each step he was going to do to ensure that his work would last. This was only the beginning! He's also done root canals, wisdom teeth, cavities, removed an anomalous bone spur from my jawbone, and my the most recent procedure was Invisalign. With each procedure, albeit a bit intimidating, he's always had a gentle touch, constantly checks on your comfort and pain levels (to ensure you don't feel a thing), all the while maintaining the best chair-side demeanor. There is no other dentist as meticulous as Dr. Ngo. He is extremely attentive to detail, and will not send you home until HE is satisfied (which ultimately means YOUR satisfaction). Going to Dr. Ngo's office is not like a typical dentist visit...it's more like heading up to your favorite watering hole with your old friends. Everyone on staff is awesome. His dental hygienist, receptionist, assistants... They're all so cheerful and welcoming. While you're waiting, you can grab a Keurig coffee, custom to your liking, and enjoy the aromatherapy while you watch some Sports Center. So I have the biggest anxiety when it comes to dentist. But since I cannot deal with the horrible toothache anymore and I really need a root canal, I decided to research to find my best option. Dr. Ngo is close by my house and I read some awesome reviews about him. I consult with another dental place before him but the price is pretty crazy even though with my dental insurance. A quick tip is when you go to dentist, try to research and consult with different places to find you best price and option. For my, Dr. Ngo was the perfect decision. The office atmosphere is very cozy and filled with nice smell, bot the typical dentist one. Staff is very warm and welcoming. I still felt nervous anyways and I was honest about my anxiety with everyone. Like I woull probably pass out because of my fear. I also never had root canal before so I had no idea how it is going to be. Not just the doctor but everyone else in the office comfort me said everything is gonna be ok, they even got my blanket to make me not shaking so much lol. The procedure starts and it was scary as first, scary not painful. And after the numb shot, I did not feel anything for the whole 1 hour and a half of the procedure. It was so smooth and easy. Pricing is very reasonable and they let you pay in multiple visit so it's a plus too. Just WOW. Hugh Ngo and his team can absolutely work wonders on teeth! I've had a stigma about dentists in the past and Hugh made the process absolutely painless and quick. He is certified at the highest level and can literally do anything requested. I had to go in to remove a wisdom tooth. The first time, about 5 years ago when I had my bottoms removed, I was in pain, took over 1.5 hours, and was just a brutal process. This time, we removed the top wisdom tooth. I am not exaggerating when I say this. Hugh literally said, you're going to feel a little push on my tooth. about 10-15 seconds later, I felt a piece hit my tongue. He was working in the area for another 5 min or so and my chair moved back up. I didn't believe he was finished so I kept pointing at my teeth. He grabbed the entire tooth (whole) and showed it to me. How do you do something in 15 sec. when it took 1.5 hours at a different dentistry?! I thought it was sorcery but he is literally just that good. I highly recommend their services for all dental needs. He showed me pictures that he did for other people on implants, veneers, fillings, etc. Its absolutely amazing that experience and talent can make a process so pain-free! Dr. Hugh Ngo and his staff are very friendly, making my first visit a pleasant one. I went in for a whitening earlier this week, and I am very happy with the results. I went to dr Hugh Ngo in a sort of emergency situation as the cap on my front tooth fell of the night before. He was able to see me first thing in the morning and him and his staff took great care of me. In no time they took care of the whole situation and i was back to normal. Best dentist I've been to in California. Staff is super friendly and nice and they all treat you as if you're part of the family. The dentist is also very helpful and funny. Most people don't want to go to see a dentist bc they are afraid . First, you need to come here and check the remodel office with TVs everywhere. The office makes me feel at home and very comfortable. It doesn't have that doctor/dentist smell that brings the childhood fear. Very pleasant distractions to keep you occupied. I was referred to Dr. Ngo by a family member and am so happy I made the switch. His office has a fresh and modern look to it with state of the art equipment. He puts a lot of pride in his work. On my first visit (regular check up), Dr. Ngo sat down and took his time explaining my X-rays to me. He made some suggestions and recommendations and worked with me the entire time.
