A great place to get boba, matcha, and tea! Super friendly service, clean and big spot with lots of seating. They also have delicious Taiwanese food for a great price. The teas were solid, strong tea taste that is perfectly sweet. I highly recommend and would come back!

I used to frequent the Chinatown Young Tea often. Specifically for the Taro Smoothie. After they closed that store that was open for years, I heard they moved to Bellevue but never looked it up. Not sure why the Yelp algorithm didn't fyi me?!? Anyways, today I was going to get my regular pineapple yogurt smoothie at Panda Yogurt but for some reason they were closed, booooo. So I opened Yelp and searched smoothie and bam! Young Tea showed up. I was stoked to finally try! And the interior photos made it a no brainer short trip to see it! Super helpful and friendly girl at the front started it off, got the Taro Smoothie and popcorn chicken she recommended. Taro Smoothie tasted exactly as it did before, WIN. Popcorn Chicken not bad. Interior is gorgeous, clean, bright, contemporary. Easy choice to come back again soon.

I recently saw the new dishes--cold noodles and curry chicken over rice--on their social media and decided to stop by. Parking in the plaza was complimentary, which made the visit even more convenient. The staff were, as always, friendly and helpful, and the ambiance felt laid-back and relaxed. I tried the mild spicy cold noodles with sesame sauce, and it really stood out. The sauce tasted homemade and had a depth of flavor that's very different from the typical generic versions--it definitely hit the spot. I also ordered the Four Seasons oolong tea, which paired perfectly with the meal. Overall, it was another great experience and a perfect place for a quick bite. I'm already looking forward to coming back to try more of the new items.

Ambience is nice. I love how much seating there is. There is a lot of natural light from the ample windows throughout. When I came on a Thursday afternoon, there were hardly any other people. I ordered passion fruit black tea with aiyu jelly. Unfortunately, the jelly floats so I drank most of it before any jelly went into the straw. Sad. But the passion fruit black tea was nice and refreshing. They also do tea tastings for groups - would be fun to do as an event.

First time trying this new location and thought it was just ok. The place is big and nice and there's a lot of seatings. Service was standard, the cashier was pretty knowledgeable and the owner helped bring out the order. I got: Winter melon juice + grass jelly topping --- juice was good and refreshing. The grass jelly was good but I was hoping that the grass jelly was cut up to small pieces so it would be easier to suck up like boba, but it was in really big chunks so you can easily just finish the drink and all the grass jelly is still there. Stir fried noodles -- this was a limited edition item so I thought I would try but I thought it was just ok. Small portion for the price. It would have been a good price if there was more meat, it was mostly noodles. Overall, it was just ok for me.

Still love this place! Staff is nice and the Taiwanese noodle soup add squid always hits (my favorite thing to order here actually). This time when I ordered the Hojicha milk tea add boba, the boba was perfect texture and so delicious. The atmosphere is quiet and calm here which I enjoy. Only cons here used to be inconsistent boba texture but sadly now the major con is the oat milk $1.75 up charge which is priceyyyy! I was in shock and had to ask for clarification since the in store menu above the register makes no mention of it and states it's ".75cents" however online ordering and staff states it's $1.75 up charge which sucks. I guess if I get a milk tea next time I will stick to the regular milk, but for those with dairy sensitivity, intolerance, etc this is a major pain and a pricey choice being honest. I still enjoy this place however it has become a pricier choice sadly. Definitely recommend the Taiwanese noodle soup add squid (what I literally come back for and crave it's so good) and the Hojicha milk tea :)

I can't believe it took me this long to finally visit the new-ish Bellevue location. I may or may not have driven to Wallingford a week prior lol. The interior of this shop is much larger, very cozy and well-decorated. My first experience with the drink here is only 4 out of 5 stars though. I ordered my new favorite, Iron Buddha Plus with 80% sweetness and less ice, and added boba. The drink tasted a bit more diluted than what I remembered from Wallingford, and I noticed the boba is different - bigger and more sweetened (which I prefer), though the texture isn't the best. I read some reviews mentioning there are special drinks only available at this location, but I didn't notice the specific ones. There are food items, such as popcorn chicken and Taiwanese Noodle Soup, that are not available at the Wallingford location.

My favorite Boba spot in Bellevue. They brew real teas here and I love the interior decor. I usually go for the Fruit Teas like Wintermelon and Mango Peach and Strawberry, but their Milk Teas are really good as well. They also have some food options like Popcorn Chicken and they had Taiwanese Cold Noodles in the summer. This place is like a little oasis in Bellevue. I love getting a drink here and there's a reason why I love frequenting it.

Young Tea has such a beautiful, clean, and welcoming atmosphere. The space is open, spacious, and relaxing, making it a great place to unwind or catch up with friends. The drinks are excellent--the tea aroma is rich and authentic, and you can really taste the quality in every sip. Overall, it's a wonderful spot with a great ambiance, delicious beverages, and tasty food. I'll definitely be coming back!

Young Tea used to be one of my favorite bubble tea places to visit in International District when I was in college. Thus, my college roommate and I were super excited when they opened up a new location in Bellevue and made arrangements to meet up there! The Bellevue Young Tea is located in a strip mall off of Northup Way. They have a shared parking lot with a salon and hot pot place. The interior is very modern and clean with an ample amount of seating. Unlike the original Young Tea, this location also serves Taiwanese street food like duck wings, oden soup, popcorn chicken, and braised pork rice. They also have more drink choices than I remember including Genmaicha, Hojicha, and Iron Buddha Plus (which is oolong plus winter melon juice). I ordered their signature IRON MILK TEA (50% sugar, no ice) ($6.95) with BOBA (+$0.75). With tax and tip, my total came out to $9.76 which is quite pricey for a drink (-1 star), but not unheard of as Molly Tea charges around the same price for a smaller drink size. For those who are not familiar, Iron Buddha is a mellow oolong tea and is a unique tea that I have only ever seen served at Young's Tea and is what my friends in college would always go for. As someone who normally doesn't like oolong tea (because I usually find that it tastes like dirt), the Iron Buddha was the perfect balance of earthiness and sweetness. The tea concentration was also super strong and I could feel the caffeine hit right after my first sip. Even without ice, my drink was nice and cold which I appreciated. My companion got the GENMAICHA LATTE ($7.25) (30% sweetness, light ice) with BOBA (+$0.75) and was highly pleased with her choice. She said that it might be the best boba she's had in the U.S. and would definitely get it again in the future. However, she did remark that the texture was slightly gritty (possibly from ground up tea leaves?) but the taste was on point. Note that for this drink, you can only get full ice or light ice. Service was decent and we got our drinks within 5-10 minutes after ordering. One unique feature about this Young Tea is that they offered tasting events for $35 per person that you can register for ahead of time. They also sell their own loose leaf tea and teapots and cups on the side. Overall: 4/5 for drinks, 4/5 for service, 4/5 for atmosphere

I first discovered Young Tea when they first opened in Chinatown, international district. It was THE boba place all my friends would go to, since their boba, you can really taste the tea and the ratio was always spot on. Though parking sometimes can be inconvenient sometimes in Chinatown, still worth it. Whenever I'm in the area in Bellevue now, I make sure to come to get some boba here. I've been here a couple of times now. I like the ambiance in here, definitely an upgrade from the Chinatown location. Ample amount of parking. Service is friendly. Drinks come out at a reasonable time. My only complaint is the toppings such as the boba isnt as chewy as I'd like it to be / it doesn't have the boba taste it always has. I always order the rooibos milk tea (it has zero caffeine!!) and its always good. But when I order it with boba sometimes I wish I hadn't. Grass jelly is the better option. And I decided to order the rose green milk tea the most recent time and I think I should've stuck with 100% sweetness as the rose flavor could've been Okiee distinct. Other than that, I'd recommend Young Tea!

This is the largest Mercury's Coffee location in Washington. I've been to the Kirkland location, which is drive-thru only, but this café offers a completely different experience. A fun fact is that Mercury's headquarters is located right next door to this location. One of my favorite things is that many of their pastries are made fresh in-house, and you can actually watch the staff preparing them. Their croissants are always a great choice, and I also highly recommend their breakfast sandwiches. They even serve pizza if you're looking for something more filling. When it comes to drinks, Mercury's has some of my favorite organic coffee beverages. The Caramel Macchiato is my go-to and one of the best drinks on the menu. The café has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great place to meet up with friends, study, or get some work done. It's easily twice the size of the Redmond or Kirkland locations, so it feels much more spacious and comfortable. The staff are always friendly, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the overall experience is consistently excellent. If you're in Bellevue and looking for a great local coffee shop with delicious food, fresh pastries, and plenty of space to relax, I would definitely recommend stopping by this Mercury's location.

After waiting 10 minutes while several customers who ordered after me received their drinks, I went back to ask about it. Instead of apologizing, the cashier was rude and argumentative. I asked for a refund since I had to leave, but they accidentally charged my card a second time instead. Eventually, another employee tried to process the refund and told me to check my card in a couple of days. We walked in and the lady behind the counter asked if we were dining in or ordering to go and told us we could sit wherever we liked. She quickly brought us menus. Nothing fancy. Simple menus on a clipboard. We ended up ordering two banh mis, a side of pho beef broth, chicken skewers and egg rolls. I forgot to mention when we first walked in, you could smell the fragrance of the pho broth. It was very satisfying in a foodie way. The skewers came out first. Nothing special. Some pieces were actually a little overcooked or dry. It was like they were reheated too long. They were lightly seasoned and good with the dipping sauce. Next came the banh mi and the broth. The bread on our banh mis was amazing. Seriously some of the best bread I've had in a long time. It was crunchy and light and had a very nice chew to it. I would inhale that bread every day if I could. It's insanely good. The fillings on the inside of the banh mi were fresh. I went with the standard cold cut banh mi and my husband ordered a fried egg. His egg was cooked perfectly, just slightly runny. My only complaint on the banh mi was I wish it had more filling. It was enough. And for $9 I'm not upset but it would have been a 5/5 if it just had more filling. Now that beef broth. Wow! It was so good. The aroma was amazing. The broth delivered on flavor without being greasy or feeling too heavy for a broth. It was light and super satisfying. The egg roll was alright. It was decent. Nothing to write home about but satisfying enough. I just wish they served it with the fish sauce instead of sweet chili sauce. I'll be back. Especially for their banh mi. Bc that bread man. Because of that, the area can get pretty packed, but I was still really excited to stop by this location. As soon as you walk in, the space feels very open and spacious. I loved how big it was and how many tables they had available. Most 85°C Bakery locations feel more like a grab-and-go spot, so I appreciated that this one had plenty of seating and room to hang out. They also have touchscreen kiosks where you can order drinks and other items without needing help from a staff member. We walked around and looked at all the bakery items, and I'm always a fan of their almond croissants and protein breads. The chicken Hawaiian bun is one of my favorites, and their sausage bun is also delicious it's clearly a popular item. I also ordered their sea salt coffee. If you download the 85°C Bakery app and it's your first time using it, you get a free sea salt coffee, which was a nice bonus. While the food and drinks were great, the service was unfortunately lacking. One customer was confused about her order, and a staff member rolled her eyes at her. The same staff member also rolled her eyes at me and my family while we were in line. Overall, the staff didn't seem very friendly or welcoming. There wasn't much smiling or engagement, and it felt like everyone was annoyed rather than excited to help. We also noticed staff packaging food with boxes out in the open during our visit. I personally think this is something that should be done in the back or at least behind the register, rather than directly in front of customers. Overall, the experience was decent mainly because the bakery items and drinks were fresh and delicious. However, the staff could definitely be friendlier, as customer service plays a big role in the overall experience.
