Good home cooked food, just like your mama would make it! Tavern with cold beer. Motorcycle friendly parking.

Hulls Hideaway never fails to disappoint! The food is usually mediocre and the service is about the same. There are some better choices.

Food is always great. Highly recommend. My wife loves the wraps and I usually get a burger or a fish sandwich. Never disappoints!

Our first visit we had the owner as our server and tonight we had the other Paul. Both were excellent!! Now to the food we were very impressed the first time and this time did not disappoint. Everything was prepared as requested - I enjoyed the Rodeo Burger which I saw another patron order last time. One in our party decided on the salad bar with grill chicken and it was delicious and the chicken was not overcooked. The desserts were excellent again (lemon berry cake, ice cream scopes, and vanilla ice cream sundae). We are sorry that we can't go again because we are leaving the area but would suggest if you are near you want to take the time to visit.

First, I'm happy to report that my experience aligned with my friend's raving of High's Restaurant…read more After a few disappointments, food wise (while in this area), I finally had the pleasure to be truly satisfied with my experience of High's Restaurant. Let's start with the customer service here. At minimum, the rating for the service here is SUPERB. Our waitress was super kind, engaging, prompt, and warm. The food. The portions here are massive with great price points. I started with a cup of the Kickin' Crab Soup, which was flavored fairly well. However, there wasn't any crab chunks in the soup, which was a tad disappointing. I then had the Rodeo Burger, which was just what I needed! The pairing of the bbq sauce was such a great decision. Even though this burger was good, what would have made it excellent (to me) was a little bit more seasoning on the beef patty. The fries!... Were simply made to perfection. Even after microwaving (which took away the crisp), I still thoroughly enjoyed the fries. We then left lol and came back for a milkshake which was excellent! I had a half Oreo and half Butterfingers milkshake , which was everything my tastebuds desired. Whenever back in the area, it will definitely be my vote to revisit High's Restaurant.

Kevin (yes, we're naming names!) was hands down one of the best servers--friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations that had us ready to come back before we even left. Must-haves: Chicken tenders, Waffles,Fried potatoes, don't skip the variety of mimosa flavors--they're the perfect brunch bonus

Once we were seated, I was shocked that they didn't offer or ask if a high chair was needed for my 2 year old. I am used to most places asking when they see small children. I saw the high chairs and just grabbed one myself. The waitress did acknowledge us once we sat down and let us know she would be back shortly. No problem, gave us some extra time to finalize what we wanted. We had 2 kids, 2 adults in our party. I ordered the caramel latte with cold foam, mom ordered a coffee, kids got a lemonade and also a strawberry lemonade. The strawberry lemonade is really good. The latte I ordered itself was pretty good but the cold foam threw me off because it wasn't sweet, it tasted like pure heavy whipping cream thickened. I added Splenda to the top to make that taste like something. I wasn't sure if that was on purpose. For food we had Sticky Chicken which is fried chicken between French toast and it's supposed to have sriracha on the chicken and maple glaze on top, mom ordered steakhouse omelette and the kids did eggs & bacon; French toast and bacon. My mom didn't enjoy her food at all, the filling was not much and she said it tasted very bland. The scrambled eggs for one of the kids also wasn't enjoyable. I didn't try the eggs but can only go off of their word and barely eaten plates. The chicken in my meal was pretty good, the French toast is on thick slices of bread. It was overall okay. I also had grits and they're made mill grits style in case you're a fan or not of that texture of grits. We had to ask for silverware, as did the table next to us I noticed. The waitress was nice nasty in way. Where she tried to be nice with a hint of rudeness, but she could've been just having an off day. We asked for more splenda for my mom's coffee. She never bought it. I got up and grabbed some from another table because we figured she wasn't going to do it. When it was time to pay, she did go over the items first to confirm if everything was good to go, but her delivery and rushing of it was off putting. Like she walked up and didn't ask if we were ready for the check, she just said okay who's taking care of the bill or is it split or together with her card reader. I felt like I had to rush to go ahead and grab my wallet to pay and it was a little intimidating how she stared during the tipping part of it, which I was going to tip regardless of the lackluster service. Overall it seems like this could be a hit or miss place. I probably wouldn't go back but definitely think others should form their own opinions from their own experience
