Finally made it back here after trying it once years ago (on a first date!) Casual cute place with some seating indoors and larger patio seating in back. I ordered the tots withsteak, which is basically like steak nachos but with tots. So good, and extremely filling, could easily be a meal alone. We also ordered a burger with egg that was delicious as well. Easy parking on the street. Service was fast and friendly. They also have happy hour on certain days.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and took a seat on the patio. We ordered off the HP menu and loved everything we ordered. The tots and fries are really so well fried, I don't know how to quantify this. Servers were friendly and attentive even though we sat out of sight on the shaded back patio. The patio was quiet and shaded, a lovely lunch spot!

Desperate to try new spots so took a chance here on a Saturday night and omg I'm glad I did. It's a really small space, 1-2 tables, and basically built for takeout. Got the onion smash cheeseburger w sweet potato fries. Burger has really really good flavor and the ingredients taste high quality. That ain't Oscar Meyer bacon they using. The patty is not a smash patty (see pic) but that's ok b/c it isn't too thick. Easy burger to eat with right amount of toppings and cheese. It was a teensy bit dry, wish the onions had more flavor and the special sauce came through more (I had to triple check they didn't forget it) but overall it was freaking delicious and such a nice change from the LA burger spots that generally all taste the same. I can't wait to come back here and try rest of menu.

Humble Potato has a wide menu from rice plate, burgers, sandwiches and sides. The Japanese/Hawaiian inspired menu has something for everyone. The parking is street parking or meters along Washington. For the food: The Jack'd burger was recommended and it was indeed tasty. Next time I'd opt for one of their unique sandwiches. Love that they have tater tots - my favorite kind of potato.

Flavor bomb. Soooo good! I really enjoyed the crispy fries, the savory curry, and the juicy meat. We had a nice time sitting inside, watching passersby on Washington and interacting with the nice staff. Definitely worth returning

Can't believe this place thought it's OK to deliver a plate like picture 1. The actual food looks nothing like advertised on doordash. Would never order again.

Got takeout from here. Quick and easy pickup. Got the hambaga and fries. The burger was just okay. It wasn't juicy as they say and other reviewers. Patty was actually kind of dry and didn't have much flavor to it. Not sure where the Japanese flavors and whatnot were. The fries were underwhelming as well. Tasted like frozen fries from the grocery store. For the price point it wasn't quite worth it. In-n-Out would have been more satisfying for a quick bite to eat. Glad I tried it but don't think I would go back.

If you're looking for good Asian food with a twist, Humble Potato is the place to go. Second time here (different location) and it still hit the spot. I came here for their burgers since it was delicious the first time, but got intrigued by their Banh Mi and decided to give it a try. And boy was I glad I did! The sandwich is packed with veggies and it's very refreshing. They also have beer which is always a plus. The new location looks a bit smaller from the outside but they have a big outdoor area in the back. It's a nice casual lunch or dinner spot! The staff have always been very friendly and it's nice to be greeted each time. Definitely recommend!

Delish! Vibe is super casual, food is simple yet comforting. We came on a late Sunday afternoon, it wasn't that crowded but the service was a bit leisurely. No complaints just an fyi if you're super hungry

Service was outstanding. We sat on the very cute patio in back. Great beer selection and the Burger and fries were outstanding! We ordered loaded fries and then got a second order of just fries. I don't like to fight, but I'm willing to for tasty fries. My friends both ordered the crispy chicken. One got it on a sandwich the other with rice ... both looked delicious. Looking forward to our next visit

Lunch here for the first time; the steak sandwich was moist, flavorful, and something I'll come back for. Tried the steak sandwich and a bite of the burger, was more impressed by the steak sandwich than the burger but both were good. Parking was little limited but still found a spot close enough. Tried the sweet potato fries which were seasoned just right with salt. Inside or outside eating if you decide to dine in. Getting the food after ordering didn't take an absurd amount of time either thankfully

First time visit and first time Yum! Decided to try this place and happened to visit when it was happy hour (5pm-7pm). #winning Had their "Umburger" happy hour combo, (substituted cheddar cheese for pepper jack). Upgraded my fries to garlic fries. Overall both were good. Burger was tasty. Despite being on the small side, it still felt the right bit of filling. I liked the sauce that came with it. It added the punch needed. Fries were perfectly cooked. Great flavor and crunch. Food came out quick but didn't taste rushed. $23 overall.

Humble Potato is always a good bet if you're in the mood for something deliciously unhealthy. I'm a big fan of their Hambaga...it's always perfectly juicy! Their sweet potato fries were perfectly seasoned as always. This was my boyfriend's first time eating here and he ordered the Yakiniku Sando which he really enjoyed. They have both indoor seating or a cute little patio out back whichever you prefer. Street parking isn't terrible. We found a spot less than a block away. Humble Potato is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the Mar Vista area.

We stopped in on a Sunday around 11:30, no line and very quick service! Finished eating and left around 12:05 so we must've lucked out with no line. We got two double cheese burgers and the loaded fries. The burger had impressively thin patties with a really nice char on the meat skirt, well seasoned, and perfectly crispy. The buns were quite small and a bit smooshed, but they were soft. It came with some fry sauce and pickles as well, overall a good burger. The fries had a good amount of toppings (cheese onions, fry sauce) and were nice and crispy. Kinda wish the onions were slightly more grilled for some extra flavor! Would probably go for plain next time as the loaded fries and burger together had similar flavors The interior has a few benches for seating and single bar type seating around the perimeter - I could see it filling up if there's a big line of people. The Big Mac stays the same. I went to LA to taste, apparently, the best burger in LA at For the Win. I paid $25 for two smash burgers and had high expectations. After all, when you click this joint on Google Maps, a fancy review pops up. Nice! However, when the smash burger entered my cave and caressed my buds, my mind instantly recognized it as a Big Mac. Therefore, my brain could hardly differentiate between a McDonalds burger, and the "best" burger in LA. I haven't eaten at McDonalds in 14 years, but my mind still knew what a gentle and warm face looks like. So overall, it was alright! As the reverend Shane Gillis says "Not Bad". The service was good tho. And the ambiance was a bit weird because the music was off. Haha bye!!!

I'm not going long on this one but I have few things to say. First of all, I had a hard time finding it. No sign on the street. Apple Maps walking mode failed me miserably. It's buried back in a street mall. It's on the ground level. From Broadway, walk in the main entrance of the mall, and it's about halfway in on your left. The sign is subtle, but you'll find it, or just ask someone. That's what I did. It's a small place. A few tables inside and several outside. You'll likely find a place to sit and enjoy your food. I ordered the classic smashed, Amboy style. Very simple burger, and that's how I wanted it. I had it double, because it's just $2 extra. Yes, it's a good burger, but it was really salty. I think it would have been much better with half as much salt. I was super thirsty after I ate it. I had to buy a bottle of water for my ride home. The fries are good and plentiful, and for just $5 that's a great deal! I'm glad I had the burger and wanna' go back and try the non-smashed Slim Thicc burger. I think that one will be money!! The service was great and so was the staff!

I happened to be in the area, and even though I'd already eaten, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to finally drop in. Irv's originally opened in 1946 as Queen's Burgers, located right on Route 66 on Santa Monica Boulevard in WeHo, and was deeply ingrained in LA's historic car culture. In 1970, Irv Genis bought the stand and renamed it Irv's Burgers, and it quickly became a legendary late-night spot for rock icons like Bob Dylan and Jim Morrison. By 2000, Sonia Hong took over, famously hand-drawing doodles on the paper plates alongside her signature slogan, "Just for you." After closing in 2013 and again in 2018, Lawrence Longo partnered with Sonia in 2021 to bring the brand back to life. They've since expanded quite a bit, even opening locations in Malibu and Las Vegas. On a staff recommendation, I ordered Irv's Original Roadside Burger Double ($11.25). Honestly, it was just okay. While a certain amount of grease and salt is expected with a burger, this one crossed the line into being a bit too salty and oily. On the bright side, the sesame bun was excellent, and I loved that they kept Sonia's legacy alive by printing her classic doodles on the tray placemats. While I'm glad Irv's was saved from history and is expanding, the food itself felt pretty so-so. The outdoor tables were also a bit dirty during my visit. I still love that classic roadside burger stand aesthetic with the outdoor stools, but unfortunately, I won't be in a rush to head back.
