Oh my god why did it take me so long to go to this place. It was incredible. The staff was super friendly and explained to me the entire ordering process. It's basically chipotle but you get pitas instead and they were delicious. This place is a lot better than Pita Pit, I was impressed. I had a gyro pita with spinach, tabouli (which was AMAZING by the way), cucumbers, onion and then you choose your hummus. That was the hardest part. You can try any of the hummus they have before you choose, which is great because they're all delicious but it makes the deciding process a lot harder. I tried the guacamole, roasted garlic, and red pepper hummus. Again, they were all delicious. I ended up going with the red pepper but I can't wait to go back and get the other kinds. This place has it all! I came in yesterday for the first time and all the girls were super sweet and helpful. You can customize a pita, salad, or rice bowl however you like it. I got a tuna salad. There are lots of veggie and dressing options and everything looks and tastes fresh. The girl making my salad let me sample hummus before I made a decision which I thought was awesome! Eh. Is an understatement. Hummus House gives the illusion of health food but the gyro meat they serve is Kronos :( yuk! That's the Mc Donald's of gyro meat. A highly processed factory, mystery meat I could do without. The tzatziki sauce was bizarre! it was an unrecognizable version of the light, herbaceous sauce we've all come to love. I've only been twice and each time I got the southwestern salad with grilled chicken, greens, shredded cheese, red onions, banana peppers, jalapeños, dressing, chipotle hummus. It is delish! I love this place. I've stopped a couple of times for a take home meal and tonight I decided on a postmates delivery. I usually choose the rice bowl with chicken and other ingredients. Everything is fresh and delicious. The kind of taste you crave later. I always do a side of tabbouli - it's a personal favorite. When we first walked into the place is very clean and remind of us of Moe's. Just the way you come in and order and get in line and stuff especially the assembly line portion of it. Also the parking definitely needs to improve here because you only have a couple spots near the front were a lot of it's in the back for better parking if you get lucky here. Also shared parking here with a bank so it can be very crowded during most of the days. As far as the food goes it was really good and pretty close to authentic Greek food. They have pitas and rice bowls so you can either do the authentic Gyros or use a rice bowl. Also salad bowls. Anything for the health conscience they have here. Nothing fast food like unless you're wanting a soda. Other than that we would definitely recommend this. Used to be a regular at the UCF location but had to relocate to Winter Park and really missed this place. So glad when they opened up one in this area. The restaurant itself is extremely clean and the staff is friendly and knowledgable. The food is also amazing. I get a chicken salad every time I come in and I just can't bring myself to try anything different. They make all of their hummus themselves and I haven't tasted a flavor I don't like. My only complaint is that this place is a little hard to find. I didn't even know there was one over here until maybe 6 months after they were already open. Glad I found it though!
