If you're craving some seriously good Middle Eastern food, Hummus Hummus this is the spot to be! The falafel is perfectly crispy, the chicken shawarma is juicy and packed with flavor, and everything else--from the rice to the olives and fresh salad--just ties the whole meal together. But honestly, Elias takes the experience to another level. He's beyond welcoming and really makes you feel like a guest, not just a customer. You can tell he genuinely cares about the food and your experience. If you're in Vancouver, definitely give this place a try! 100/10

A lot of great Middle Eastern in the Couve and this one is great. I have to go to Kaiser Orchards every month and Hummus Hummus is not too far down 4th Plain. I really like their falafel and hummus. Their lamb gyro is really good too. It's a food truck to restaurant story which is always admirable. The owner is very personable and friendly. It's not too far off the 205. The restaurant is really nice for dining in. Check it out.

Being Greek/Egyptian in my 60's, I have tried many Mediterranean food options in the Northwest. I am also a great cook so when I came upon Hummus Hummus reviews and what all of them consistently confirm, I had to try it. Absolutely agree with all of them, the chef is not only adorable and full of pride about his cooking, the food is TOP NOTCH. Many places offer wraps, hummus/tahini/tzatziki sauce etc but the differential is in the mix, spices and how you make your falafels. I always ask vendors how they make their falafels and when they tell me it is a powdered mix that they add water to .. I walk out. THIS chef spelled out everything he uses and the combination is classic & PERFECT: chic peas & fava beans combo, cilantro, parsley, green onions, cumin, salt & pepper. The portions are generous, the salad is very fresh, the type of pita pocket bread is traditional (not that think flat bread that ends up being 30% of the content of the sandwich instead of a traditional true "pocket") We were so impressed with everything about this place, we got 2 warps for lunch, 1 falafel & 1 lamb gyro + 2 combo platters for dinner. The grape leaves are .. well, as good as I make them (but mine have ground lamb in them) !! That means that they are the best ever! Take my word for it, you will not be disappointed if you try this place out. You're welcome.

One of the better Mediterranean foods in town. It used to be a food truck that apparently has been operating for 14 years. They finally have a store front ( same plaza). The first time I went I think they were short handed but they're a family owned business and so nice!! Today I brought my bf and the chicken was so flavorful compared to my last visit. Their falafels were yummy and moist. Parking lot is small, right next to a convenient/liquor store.

Hello Shawarma grilled wrap! Holy smokes this warm sandwich caught me by surprise, little bit drippy near the end so have a few napkins ready. The gyro pita wrap was two thumbs up as well. Both sandwiches had crunchy vegetables and delicious sauce. Try the falafel you will not be disappointed with this cafe. Thank you for a lunch.

Sooo good. Quality food and service, the people are so kind; just makes you want to keep coming back for that total satisfaction! Flavors are authentic and they use fresh ingredients. Everything tastes aromatic and just great, you can see they put care and attention to their products. They gave me some falafel while waiting - really caring, who does that? Awesome place and everything.

Seriously, one of the best restaurants in Vancouver! They put so much love into their food, the deep flavors are out of this world! I recommend Hummus Hummus to everyone I know, and for good reason! The woman working the front and preparing the food is so sweet which we greatly appreciate. One time when we were waiting on our food, the owner brought us out a falafel to try. You don't get this type of service anymore!

I stopped by Hummus Hummus because the menus on Yelp showed they had beef. I was very disappointed to find out they took beef off the menu. However, the chicken was fantastic, great flavor and large serving. I ordered the fries with toum sauce (garlic) and they were tasty as well. It's really hard to find a pita place that serves beef without lamb. I guess I'll keep searching.

Wow! We got the wrap and chicken shawarma plate at the Saturday Market. It was delicious, flavorful, moist and perfectly balanced. The pita bread that came with the plate was soft, warm and a great pairing, their hot sauce was delicious and even the tahini had great flavor. Customer service was friendly, prompt - they carried our wrap out to us at a nearby farmers market stand when it was ready. I was so impressed with all the flavor I wanted to buy more food while we were still eating. Would love to have this food catered at a wedding or event. We asked if they have an in-person location and they plan to open up on fourth plain sometime later this year. I'm looking forward to it and would go out of my way to eat this food! read more

We haven't had excellent Middle Eastern food since we moved here from a very diverse area where our friends were Persian, Lebanese, and Syrian. Eating traditional foods made by someone's mom or grandma spoils that food for you. But Hummus Hummus delivers! This is the real deal. Comforting classics made exceptionally well. The first time we tried it, we loved it so much that we came back two days later. This family owned business makes you feel right at home with their enthusiastic generosity and kindness. I can't stop recommending it to everyone I know. Best falafel I've ever eaten, hands down. read more

My daughter and I ate at their new location (12113 NE Fourth plain Blvd) . The food was amazing! We had the chicken shawarma wrap with added toon sauce . Both of us were impressed by the phenomenal flavor of the meat. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean and quaint. Im in dolmas & hummus heaven. Best. Middle Eastern. Food. Ever! I'm addicted. Never have I been a dolmas fan, but I must eat at least 8 of these a week or I will go through withdrawals. The Hummus is creamy perfection with olive oil & a tad bit of spice on too, but it's pure & focused on the delicious taste of chickpeas that makes me title this best Hummus around. The food is always cooked & prepared right then, no reheating or anything frozen. The owner is a delight, always greeting everyone like they are family & always making sure they are satisfied with each bite. I'm so so excited to have Hummus Hummus on 78th street. The location was their food truck at Vancouver Farmer's Market. I got the falafel wrap. The flavor was good, but it was very dry. The dryness made it inedible after a few bites. It wasn't worth the wait. I also wasn't crazy about the obnoxiously loud music. I'm sorry for the other food truck workers who have to listen to that at top volume all day. read more

This was our first time trying this place and we just kind of wanted a sample of what it was like. So we got the shawarma plate with chicken and added falafel. The chicken was really tender and had awesome flavor. The falafels were crispy but not dried out at all, really nice. You get a choice of salad or hummus, we chose hummus and I think I'd always go for that. It's really nice to have another great food truck open so close to home :) We will for sure be back to try the lamb and gyros! read more

Grabbed a falafel sandwich at the farmers market - it was OUTSTANDING. Perfect falafel (seasoned to die for), super fresh delicious veggies tossed perfectly with the tahini - no "dry pockets". Stopped by this food truck at the Vancouver Farmer's Market this weekend.....oh...my my my!!!!! This was so yummy and light! I ordered the vegan combo and I asked the cashier if everything was gluten free and she said "everything but the pita bread" I'm sure I looked bummed because she said "would you like some extra falafels instead?" I was looking for a delicious assortment of food for a Work Party. I contacted the owner so last minute as to be ridiculous. He not only accommodated a group with every conceivable dietary need/restriction, but also did it with copious amounts we were still snacking on a week later. I looooooovvvvveeeee this place!!! It takes awhile to cook bc he makes everything when you order. But it's absolutely worth it. If your looking for something fast this isn't it, but if your looking for something amazing your taste buds will love try this place! You will come back again and again. My favorite is the Shawarma wrap with hummus and feta added. Amazing. You get way more bang for your buck if you get the large size. My sister and I often get a large and share because it's definitely large. The man who works runs/works the truck is so sweet always so happy to cook people food. He always gives us little appetizers on a toothpick while we wait for our order. Great food, great service, definitely coming back! read more

Excellent food and service! I picked up basically everything on the menu (because don't have access to Mediterranean food since we live in such a rural area) and it was all delicious. Vegi platter, euro platter, chicken shawarma platter, baba ghanouge, falafel, dolmas and hummus with lots of lemon and dill flavor throughout almost all the dishes. Large portions meant yummy leftovers for a couple days. The guy separated the hot stuff from the cold stuff in the bags and even helped me carry it all to the car! read more

SO GOOD! And the portions are great! I order the chicken shawarma and lamb meal and my partner ordered the vegan mezza plate/platter. We also had dolmas to start. It was amazing and fresh. I love the falafel and the hummus, they put in olive oil, cumin , paprika for dipping the pita. The portions were big enough for us to make lunch AND dinner out of it. Of course the dolmas were finished, you can also tell they are hand-wrapped to order. SO GOOD. If you're looking for great, authentic middle-eastern/lebanese food - look no further. Hummus Hummus has a large menu with a variety of mouthwatering vegan and traditional platters...it was almost too hard to decide. They also serve babba ghannouj with calamata olive. The service was so great with a smile ,the owner Elias is a very nice person and he gave us samples to try. Can't stop telling people about this place. Will definitely go back when in Vancouver read more

We have been shearing our combed tradition cooking with our friends and family, however we wanted to reach more palettes with our Middle Eastern cuisine. Food connects us with a culture and by expending our kitchen to include a mobile vehicle, it allow us to bring these health dishes to our community. Hummus Hummus provides and robust Middle Eastern dishes comprised only of a simplest and freshest ingredients. Everything is prepared daily and with care only found with the home. Reinventing old traditions, you will notice improvements on many classics dishes. Dishes like shawarma - which is a beautifully marinated with fifteen ingredients or Falafel vegetable patties made from chickpeas, fava beans, mixed with many fresh vegitables, and of course Hummus. I had all the toppings on it and they added salsa for each taco, the type of salsa varies for the meat you order. Most of the tacos are $2.50, some are $3. When I visiting they have chicken tacos for $2.

What stood out right away was how different they were from each other in the best way possible. Each had its own flavor profile, and both were incredibly well-balanced, fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell a lot of care goes into the seasoning and preparation. We also got the garlic dipping sauce, and while the wraps honestly didn't even need it, it took everything to another level. So rich, so flavorful, and the perfect complement. On top of the food being amazing, the service was just as good. Super friendly, welcoming, quick and happy to help. We'll absolutely be coming back. So excited to have found this spot.

The biggest surprise for me was the delicious chicken . I had the lowest expectation for the chicken, since I am usually disappointed at other places, but this chicken was absolutely wonderful.

It came with a container of sour cream and it added a layer of hearty deliciousness I wasn't used to but was a rich treat. It was a fabulous comfort lunch on a chilly rainy day. I'll happily come back with some coworkers the next time I'm on that side of town!

But they put a spicy coleslaw on the waffle, which I think is the worst thing you could possibly do, especially being from the south. We couldn't even enjoy the waffle and the chicken wasn't good enough to carry on its own plus it was soggy in some places. If we did not drive away, I would've asked for a refund. The reason why it is not one star because their strawberry lemonade is decent sometime. This time it wasn't good but the last time I came by, it was good.
