This was our most pleasantly surprising meal of the entire trip. We were trying to dine next door but were ignored by our server so we left and opted for this place bc we were hungry and short on time. Turns out, it was probably the best meal we had on our trip! The service was prompt and friendly and our food came out fresh and quick. We tried the mushroom hummus which was delicious (if you call yourself hummus kitchen, you better have good hummus!!). We also tried the flat bread and the pita and all their sauces are so good. Their house green sauce I literally want to order and have shipped to my door. Highly recommend!

it was mid :( the food: i got the eggplant appetizer which is fried eggplant with babaganoush, and the chicken shawarma entree. everything tastes okay it's just the portion size is soooo small for the price. the entree is nearly $30 and i was so hungry after lol. the space: not huge but decently sized the service: they're nice!

Food was excellent. We ate the hummus before we thought to take a picture. Red chicken and chicken kebabs were excellent. Very good service and food came out quickly. Cute, intimate place for a reasonably priced meal. With a glass of wine and lemonada for an average of $40 each.

Delicious lunch yesterday at Hummus Kitchen Murray Hill! My sister and I each ordered a sandwich: schnitzel and sabich and we shared; they were both delicious. The fries accompanying the sandwiches were great! Service was very nice. Nice ambiance.

Decent food! Ambient setting and a good sit out area. I didn't realize they didn't make anything using dairy. The sauces could be a little better.

While visiting NYC, we stopped here for dinner. We sat out outside in their covered area which was nice. Our server was very friendly and answered questions we had about the menu. We ended up ordering the small hummus to start and I got the espresso martini. Both for fantastic! While waiting for our food, the server came around with shots of arak which tasted like Sambuca. For dinner, I got the braised chicken couscous. This was delicious! I was told to mix it up and try different things together, but I ended up just mixing it all together and I thought it was great! Overall, this was a good experience and not too pricey.

Food was decent but the service was appalling (from one of the waiters). When something that should be in the brunch item wasn't there and I asked about it, I was told it's not supposed to be there. Then I had to go look for the menu to confirm that indeed it should be included. Then the server made some excuse, and made no attempt to do anything. I had to ask if I could get that replaced. He walked away, and when he came back, he dumped it on the table and walked away. The rudeness shocked us!

I had a great time here, mostly due to the great service here and luck :) We wanted some mediterranean food and this place was close by! The vibe is super cozy and warm, and they welcomed us immediately! We ordered: - 3 Maze choices: Hummus, Baba Ganoush, Tiberian cured beef: They kept giving us more pita, and an accidental extra hummus!! So nice. The tiberian beef is very sour (which I love) but the baba ganoush tasted a bit weird and oddly sour/fizzy. - Chicken Shawarma Platter with Israeli Salad: I wish there was a bigger portion of meat, but the Israeli salad was great. - Cauliflower Salad: If you like tahini, great dish for you! - There was this free bread that was also amazing, that came with 2 really good dips. They also gave us some free shots of liquor that was licorice flavored.

    Empty plates very good

Great service. Water was tasty. Had pillows at the chairs so was very relaxing. We ate all the food and service was very nice. Thanks

The Moroccan bread was excellent; portion size for the branzino was somewhat small though the stew was great. Service was efficient and pleasant.

The pita bread is absolutely delicious, feels like you're eating a pillow. Great and kind service and the AC is nice and chilly. I highly recommend this place for Mediterranean food lovers!

Came by on a Thursday for happy hour. Plenty of seats available. The outdoor seating area is very comfortable as the seats provided a nice amount of cushioning. I got an espresso martini as part of the 2 for 1 deal. Very easy to drink. Had a shot of casamigos blanco which was the smoothest tequila I've ever had. There were olives and pickled cabbage on the house which provided nice snacks. We ordered baklava, freshly made in house. The spices and sugar levels were good. Our server, Oscar, was amazing. He heard we were having a rough week, so he gave us some shots and focaccia on the house. I will definitely be back.

The place wasn't busy during lunch time but busy during dinner time. Amazing service and delicious food! The food was fresh and came out fast. Lunch specials are $21.95 for 2 courses while dinner specials are $36.95 for 4 courses. I had the Eggplant with Tomato Sauce and Beets as the first course and Lamb Adana Kebab as Entrée. Lamb Adana Kebab comes with salad, which I can't have since it's cold and raw, but they were able to accommodate me and replaced salad with more rice. I had Kabak Tatlısı, which has a nice sweet taste and is healthy. All were delicious, also gluten free, dairy free and soy free. Plus, the Turkish Tea as the fourth course was a great pair with my meals. Their menu offers a variety of choices, including options that are gluten free, dairy free, and soy free. I would definitely come back and suggest you give this place a try if you are in Hell's Kitchen or Columbus Circle.

If you have kids, don't worry--they also have an appetizer that's similar to a mozzarella stick that was absolutely delicious. I just can't remember the name of it! They play all types of music, and even though the space is big, the personal and intimate connection with the employees is what really made the experience special. The manager, Joselyn, was incredibly warm and welcoming. Our waitress, Vivian, was on top of every single request. Bravo! I have been twice now, once on the East Side and again last night on the West Side, and I came away both times with the same impression: that some places are content to simply be good, over and over, without announcing it. The watermelon salad is sweet and hot at the same time, feta and mint against Italian chile, and it is the right thing to have first. The schnitzel is what it ought to be. The kebab, lamb and beef together, is the thing I would order if I were only allowed one thing. The knafeh cups are better on the East Side, where the crisp kataifi is laid over the cream rather than baked into a shell around it. On the West Side you have to break into the cup before you get anywhere. On the East Side the spoon goes straight down through the crunch and into the cream, and that is the whole difference. But it is the people I keep thinking about. They are kind without performing kindness, which is harder than it sounds. Last night I watched the room work, water poured, plates cleared, dishes set down, and it was never quite the same hand doing it, and never once the wrong one. A floor moves that way only when everyone on it is paying attention to everyone else. Two visits, two neighborhoods, one restaurant. I suspect that is the point.
