' she replied yes it's like we're in a sauna. How bizarre to be aware of a problem & not fix it? During a heat wave and no ac for the customers or workers ??? I don't understand how people are okay with working or eating in those conditions. It was too uncomfortable to eat inside so we took it to go. Wish the environment was more enjoyable. It is one of my favorite restaurants right now and I can't wait to go back to it. My go-to is the bowl with basmati rice as a base, kale, chicken shawarma, feta hummus, olive hummus, traditional hummus, red onion, cucumber, corn, feta cheese, olives, tahini, and tzatziki. We started coming here when they first opened and we loved it. However, once they started up-charging for certain foods and sauces we have noticed a difference in not just the food portion but with customer service lacking as well. This is not the same place we first fell in love with. The person that helped us tonight seemed annoyed that we were there and definitely did not make us feel welcomed. With the up-charges and poor customer service, we might not be coming back anytime soon. read more

We just had a really bad experience here. Unfriendly staff, who honestly seemed just unhappy in their jobs. Perhaps they are being held there against their will. Hummus is a Levantine specialty, invented and perfected by palestinian, Syrian + Lebanese people. It is bastardized here with unusual flavors, offensive texture and off putting taste. I was excited to see the mushroom shawarma option. I opted for the upcharge because I love mushrooms prepared in inventive ways. These were unfortunately served cold, too tough to chew and, again, had an off putting taste. I could only eat a few bites and lost my appetite. Ordered delivery through DoorDash. When ordering I added dolmades to my wrap selection- I thought they would be on the side, but it turned out they add them into the wrap! This was a pleasant surprise as it made the wrap different from anything else I've ever had. Olive hummus was tangy and creamy. Biggest stuffed wrap I've ever had with tons of delicious fillings. Waited about 10-15 minutes when I realized patrons were coming out with their food in hand so, I decided to check in on my order. Inside there were a few people placing orders and a few others in line to pay. When I was addressed I asked about my order and at the same time I see an employee pulling a receipt from the wall and starts to work on it-turns out it's my order. When I asked why my order wasn't given a timely attention I was told because I ordered from the monitor. I was told the walk-ins take priority. My question, WHY? Why aren't orders prepared as they come in? This information was emphasized by another male employee that came to explain to me your order will take longer if you order from the monitor. Apparently, they receive the order 5 minutes after it's placed and their instructions are to prepare those orders after all the orders placed inside are taken care of. How does this make any sense? -The receipt was nasty, full of food stains -2 stars because the food does take good and the crispy chicken was hot -larger portions because my bowl had a lot of greens and small toppings on top -the Kalamata olives portion was as big as my sharwana chicken Even if I were from this area I wouldn't be returning. There should be a sign that says to order at the counter if you'd like faster service next to the monitor's sign that say ORDER HERE. This food experience was not worth it! read more

You are able to build a bowl, a pita or a wrap with every ingredient hand picked so every one is customized to personal preferences. Came to try this new place. OMG the food portions are huge. I had a hard time deciding what to get. So many options! It was tasty and healthy. It's pretty interesting. This is hands down my favorite place to get a quick bite to eat. I love all the options for proteins, hummus, toppings and sauces. The staff are nice and generous. The prices are very reasonable. An odd positive, I really like their to go bowls - even when a little liquid accumulates on the bottom from ordering hummus, there's no leakage whatsoever. Everything is simply good quality! My only complaints, I wish there were more in CA so that I could always get the food no matter where I go and I don't like the store sign. First time here! Was so yummy! Love the varieties of hummus they offer as well as their proteins! I had a bowl with kale and cucumbers and tried their traditional hummus, the eggplant hummus and the feta hummus (which had a light kick) and the chicken (I think it's the kabob not the lemon) it was wonderful! I do really love this restaurant it's Mediterranean but chipotle style. Build your own wrap bowl or pita. Service is good. My only complaint would be recently went in 30min before close and the gyro meat was not longer in the skillet and now in a paper bowl. So figure the meat must have just came out. I would give it 3.5 stars. I went at the end of the night so I might try it again earlier in the day as the food was not as fresh- lamb and gyro I ordered was just the last scrapings and the sweet potato fries were cold and chewy ... Just tried the food here for the first time tonight and I have to say it is absolutely delicious. I got the bowl with couscous, kale, it also comes with two proteins and a whole lot of other toppings. The sauces they use are really good, I had the roasted eggplant hummus and the zesty feta. I did not go in person, I ordered through doordash but I have to say it's one of the best deliveries I've had. It was super fast, everything came just as I had ordered it, and the bag was stapled close which I appreciate. You can see a tremendous amount of love has gone into this place. I am a falafel snob and this is some of the best falafel Ventura County has to offer: moist, complexly flavored, and fresh. I got a bowl with Kale, Farmer's Mix (lettuce), cous cous, topped with zesty feta, harissa hummus, olive hummus, lemon chicken, cucumber, cabbage, tomato, Tatziki and lemon. My friends and I had lunch today. It was my first time here. The bowls are big! I couldn't finish mine. The servers were very nice, and the food did not lack flavor! Customer service here is amazing. Honestly the best every time I go in however, on Saturday night (9/27/25) I went in and experienced something somewhat traumatic for being a customer. I can't even imagine being in any of those employees shoes. I saw an older employee or boss? Not sure who he was but he was yelling at the employees working. The employees looked so confused and also upset. I felt so displeased because every time I go in I get the best customer service. I was truly disappointed that they were treated horribly. I really hope they're not treated like this on a daily basis because if they are I hope they'll quit. I've worked in the food industry before and I understand the stress and frustration it comes with especially if it's a busy place such like this one so on top of that having an unhealthy management system is overwhelming. Once again I'm truly disappointed on that employee or manager or boss? I don't know who that was but like I said they were treating the employees very rudely and poorly. I hope whoever that was does better because the staff is amazing at their job. I'm giving this place a one star review because it was honestly so sad to see that person treat the employees with such disgrace. I hope they read this and treat them better because there was also someone that was recording and i truly hope they post it on social media to let people know how badly their staff is treated.
